Ten minutes drive towards Dumbalk South takes you to Blue Tree Honey Farm, a great little tourist attraction where you can taste and buy honey from local areas, sample a beautiful cream tea/coffee, have lunch in the cafe or sit outside and admire the scenic countryside. Just down the road towards Foster on your right you will find a fabulous panoramic lookout platform with views of Wilson's Promontory National Park (40 min) comprised of 125,000 acres of rainforests, extremely beautiful beaches, rugged granite mountains and abundant wildlife. Trails from the Tidal River settlement lead to Squeaky Beach, with its white quartz squeaky sand. Nearby, Mt. Oberon offers views of Bass Strait and offshore islands and Wilsons Promontory Light station, built in 1859, is on the southern coast. Nearby towns for shopping are Meeniyan, Leongatha and Foster. Leongatha has an indoor pool and Foster has a surprisingly good museum which as you walk through there are outbuildings like a jail and a schoolhouse, complete with school children! Our first experience together with my husband. We had never been camping since we were in Australia. We are from Colombia 🇨🇴 and we wanted to feel the nature that will remind us of our beautiful land. And we found here the ideal place, quiet, calm, we were lucky that it was not occupied; which we loved because we were looking for privacy. Helen was a wonderful, attentive and helpful host. I definitely recommend the place. 🔥

We had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed our time here. Jana was an exceptional host — incredibly helpful, with clear instructions for everything, regularly checking in, and even delivering us fresh berries to enjoy, which was such a thoughtful touch. The property is a working berry farm with plenty of space to explore, and it was wonderfully dog-friendly, which we loved. friendly. There are three campsites on the property, but they are well spaced apart, so you don’t see or hear other campers, which made it feel very private and peaceful. The lake/dam was a real highlight — perfect for cooling off on hot days. Having kayaks and paddle boards available made it even better, and it was such a relaxing place to unwind. We would absolutely recommend this stay and would love to come back.

Weekend Trip to Nerrigundah Contrée Sauvage

My dogs and I loved camping at Jana's berry farm. Such a beautiful property and the site was nice and private and the other campsites were not visible. The days were hot so we made full use of the creek with kayaks and stand up paddle board. The dogs had a blast swimming and we thoroughly enjoyed the berries. This is now my new favorite hip camp and I can't wait to go back!

We had the most wonderful time here! Our dogs loved it! We appriciated the distance between the 2 other camps aswell as the frest berries! Owner was extremely kind! Would recommend 100% and will definitely be coming back to stay if we are in the area again!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Sale Caravan Park. From the moment we arrived, the host welcomed us with the biggest smile you could genuinely feel the pure, positive energy. We were even given an upgrade, which was such a kind surprise and made our stay even more special. The amenities were spotless, fresh, and very well maintained. Everything felt clean, calm, and comfortable. One thing I highly recommend: ask the host about the psychic story. It’s incredibly interesting and honestly a soul-opening experience — something that really stays with you. Overall, an easy 10 out of 10. We’ll absolutely be back!

Location was great for day trips around the area eg Wilson’s Prom, Loch village or the rail trail. Camping area was very clean and tidy and the grass was lush. Would recommend.

Lovely place, well maintained and cared for, lovely camp kitchen and friendly hosts. Great places to explore in the surrounds and a really beautiful drive in. Every type of bird coming to stay too.
