Our farm is located in Carrajung Lower, Central Gippsland where is 2.5 hours drive from Melbourne.
As the name reveals we live on a small ridge with at least 3 pairs of Kookaburras living around our house.
With a 52 acre property we run miniature sheep to keep our land green and produce ethically raised 100% grass fed lamb.
Each site has three levels. The top level is for vans and/or tents; the middle level is for tents only and the bottom level is the fire pit area. Each level is quite narrow so camper vans that flip out to the side and annexes are likely not to fit.
Surrounded by pine plantation and native trees, you can enjoy secluded time without neighbours except native animals and birds! Perfect for bushwalking or mountain biking.

Overhead can be seen many birds including eagles, parrots, water birds while the RAAF Roulettes regularly practice their routines.
There are no amenities here, campers must be self contained and leave no trace.

Stockyard Paddock is located at our property called "Tarrawonga", situated on the outskirts of Port Albert. Two minutes drive to the town centre and 10 minutes to nearby Yarram. Tarra Bulga National Park and the magnificent Wilson's Promontory are easy day trips for some of the best hiking in the state.
We are a 16-acre hobby farm. We run about 30 sheep who are looked after by "James" the pet Alpaca. We also have a newly established seasonal wetland project in the making. Just sit back and enjoy the local Kangaroos and abundant birdlife.
Campers have access to a level and grassed, four-acre cleared open dry paddock with a treed outlook. Access is good for caravans and other RVs. You need to be self-contained, with your own camp toilet. There is water and a dump point just two minutes drive up the road. No generators please.
Port Albert is steeped in history and a visit to the maritime museum is absolutely worth the time. The Alberton Hotel provides a courtesy bus if you're after a counter meal and drinks. Tarra Bulga National park is close by and provides some magnificent walks. Wilson's Promontory is a great day trip. And of course, there is always the famous Port Albert Fish and Chip shop.
Well-behaved dogs welcome on leash.

Woodside Gardens offers private campsites for guests to choose from, located among natural bush of tea tree and gum trees.
Guests must be mostly self contained and must take all waste/rubbish with them on departure. We have a toilet available for our campers and an outdoor solar shower. Potable water as well. Please note that we are on tank water and please be careful to turn taps off and follow the instructions we have near each of the water sources.
Fires are allowed as long as the fire ban guidelines are followed. No ground fires allowed. We have fire pits available for you to use free of charge or bring your own. There is also plenty of wood around the place that you are welcome to pick up. But we recommended you bring some of the bigger logs with you.
Just a 5 minute drive to the magnificent 90 mile beach and plenty of bush tracks to go walking or bike riding.
The township of Woodside is just up the road has a service station/Post office/shop. 15 minutes to township of Yarram and 35mins to Sale city.
Given we are a small campground with neighbours nearby we ask that all campers please be considerate of them and their fellow campers. If you like to party then this is not the place for you.

The campsite is located in a 5 meter cut out with a grass patch and three gum tress. Camp between the sheds in the orchards, between the orchards or to the west of the wester.
There is water and power and lots of places to pitch a tent or park a van. If you want to use the toilet and shower you will need to walk to The Caravan Hut, or BYO and be self-contained.

This camp is easily accessible towing with a van and had plenty of room for manoeuvring as i had the paddock to myself. (Midweek, off season)
Sandy was a great host. They are developing a wetland which was really interesting to see.
A little local traffic noise, but nothing too intrusive. Lovely nature sounds during the night, and a great view of stars. I'll be returning.

We had a great time at Srockyard Paddock. Only two other rigs there, but plenty of room should more have come. Sandy and Saul met us on arrival and pointed out the wildlife including Kangaroos. A great campsite!

Beautiful property 😊 we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a stunning location.
We were greeted by the friendly host and had two horses as neighbours, much to our childrens delight.
We'll be back to stay again

Saul and Sandy have kept it simple, they are fellow campers and know you just want a nice easy spot to set up camp and enjoy the outdoors. The site was straight off the road through the gate and an entire paddock available to set up shop. It was private but also secure with the main house being next door but still away enough to have your own space. Saul and Sandy both make you feel very welcome on thier property.

I loved camping at Saul and Sandys. I went in winter and shared the paddock with some large kangaroos. It was peaceful and I rested well there.
Saul and Sandy were very friendly and welcoming and showed us over their wonderful conservation programme which is in large part a wetland.
Very important as so often wetlands are drained.
I would go back there in a flash.

Such a lovely spot, Saul and Sandy are wonderful hosts. We had a lovely stay, there is a lot of room, even with other campers there it was so quiet and private. We really enjoyed ourselves and the kids loved the horses next door, they gave them loads of carrots, I think the horses will miss them :-)

Highly recommend visiting the national park, a nice and easy walk with lots of beautiful mountain ash trees and birdsongs. Barry, the volunteer at the visitor centre, was passionate and very helpful. Hope to visit again in the future to see some ghost mushrooms!

Amazing little pocket of rainforest
Hard to believe such beautiful rainforest is accessible so close to Melbourne.
This little national park is definitely worth a visit. The walks are all very short on very easy trails, but still very beautiful and worth the trip.

We visited Agnes Falls which has a nice easy walk by the river and overlooking the ravine with the falls. Close to Port Welshpool for lunch and a peaceful picnic area if you prefer that.
