Surrounded by lush native bush and towering tree ferns, this picturesque town on the Latrobe River sits on the main access route to the ski fields of Mt Baw Baw and is home to a wide range of heritage and natural attractions. The property consists of 5 acres with a river, so you can set up a tent right next to the river and fish for dinner. The house is about 100 meters away from the camping area, but there are about 1000 Oregon trees that are 50 years old, so you can't see each other well, so you can enjoy nature freely. 4WD is recommended for easy access. We recommend tents/swags. 4WD with Heavy trailer is still very hard to enter when it is wet. Guests will have access to a toilet throughout their stay. There is a communal fire pit available, so guests can enjoy a campfire on the cool evenings. Please abide by any local fire restrictions during your stay. You can walk from my house to Noojee Heritage Centre, Trestle Bridge, Alpine Trout Farm, and Noojee Hotel for a delicious pizza, Cool beer from tool sheed and coffee from red duck cafe. You can drive to Toorongo Falls, Ada Tree in 10 minutes and Baw Baw Ski Resort in 40 minutes.

Stable Hill Farm is reopening to campers after three years of establishing our working cattle farm. Set high on a hill above Glenmaggie, the property offers wide open countryside, peaceful rural views and a beautiful outlook towards Lake Glenmaggie. Across 100 acres of rolling farmland, you’ll see Angus and Hereford cattle grazing, with views south towards the lake and north towards the Great Dividing Range. Lake Glenmaggie is only a 9-minute drive away, with easy access for water sports, walking, sightseeing and picnics. Heyfield is close by and has a public RV Park with toilets and a gold coin shower. For supplies, Heyfield has an IGA and the famous Timberline General Store, which stocks general goods, takeaway food, fuel and camping gear. For meals out, the Railway Hotel in Heyfield is a good option for classic country pub meals, while the Tinamba Hotel is a well-known regional dining destination. We also recommend a visit to Blue Pool near Briagolong, especially if you are exploring beyond Lake Glenmaggie. Guests travelling with horses are welcome to enquire before booking so we can discuss suitability, access and paddock availability. Please note that there are no facilities on the property itself. Campers must be fully self-contained, including their own toilet, and must take everything with them when they leave. Please bring your own firewood and keep all fires contained to the fire pits provided. As this is an active farm with livestock, gates must be left exactly as you find them and children must be supervised at all times. The property also has uneven ground, steep gradients and small cliff areas, particularly near the lower creek.

We are conveniently located just off the M1, only a 90-minute drive from Melbourne CDB. We offer the perfect place to escape from the rat race to recharge your batteries. Choose any spot to set up camp, but our favourite is next to the beautiful lake-like dam. Guests are required to be self-sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. It's only 2km to Trafalgar town centre and 5 KM to Moe. We are pet-friendly, but please ensure your pet does not bother other campers or local wildlife. Contained campfires are permitted but can only be lit in designated fire pits. October through May is typically dry, and you may have to disallow fires during this time for safety reasons. Can't beat the view, isn't that all campers needed? We have river frontage suitable for swimming and fishing, two toilets, two hot water showers, campfire pits, play equipment for kids, walk to town, tree swing. The property has a beautiful big oak tree that will make you feel like you're somewhere magical. We are less than 1 kilometre to town. Fish in the river, relax under the tree, end your day with a nice hot shower and enjoy time with your family and friends. You also get phone reception. What a fantastic spot. We spent a few days on the larger site. Kids loved the river access. Noojee and Neerim were not too far away, however, on our site we felt miles away... Something to be mindful of when you book. The track to the site is quite narrow. We got our 21' in, however, doors and windows are now dressed with pinstripes. It wouldn't have stop us from booking, but we would have been better prepared if we knew. Still a fantastic spot to escape

Lovely quiet spot on river and only 10mins into Noojee. There are 3 spots on the river with camp-sites roughly 10-15 metres apart so you can hear yr neighbours. We had no trouble getting our 22ft van in although track to site is a bit tight in places and hard to avoid pinstripes. We had the best site which was large with easy access to river. A bit pricey for 3 adults, 1 child and our dog at $226 for 2nts but $66 was hipcamp fees. Unfortunately hipcamps are not the bargain they use to be and I feel for hosts who genuinely want to make their properties available as an alternative to caravan parks but service charges are eroding the appeal. We however did enjoy our stay and would return.

This was our second time to this spot and it did not disappoint. Absolute privacy and tranquility. It’s the perfect t location and the sites are flat and comfortable. Awesome location, great access to the water, friendly host. Scenery was perfect., plenty of birds to listen to. My only negative were the dogs barking all night. Will definitely be back. Feeling relaxed and refreshed. 👍

It was a very very splendid place to come out even for a night. The drive was totally fine from the city just an hour drive, the place is in a well maintained place of the fat. Ther drive though the valley and the hills welcomes you to the property making it feel very forestry and wild.the river was perfect for the day and to play around. I highly recommend this camp if you want to have a quick getaway from the city!

Kerens place is so peaceful and beautiful. The river is wonderful to watch and our dog loves to be in it. The bird song at dawn is wonderful. We have now been here a couple of times and we are returning in the New Year.

Keren and her family and friends were so lovely and welcoming - and what a perfect spot they have for camping. We had a wonderful time watching crayfish in the water, swimming, playing on the grass. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location, camping a few metres from the river, surrounded by wild life and some elusive marine life. Although less than 10 minutes to Noojee the location is quiet, surrounded by bush, and Keren and Mikey make you feel very welcome.
