Tiny Castle at Tynecastle Park

Tiny Castle is a custom built tiny house that overlooks farmland, bushland and the glorious Stzelecki Ranges including Mount Worth. With a large covered deck connected to the front of the tiny house, you don't have to go anywhere to witness Wedge-tailed Eagles, Black Cockatoos, King Parrots, Rosellas and Kookaburra to name a few. Or wombats scurrying into their warren in the embankment just below the tiny house. Or the wallabies that hang out in the front paddock. If you're a fit walker, you can hike up to the back of the property that borders an old pine plantation now full of regrowth where herds of deer call it home. At the right time of day, you're likely to see all kinds of water fowl in the damns around the property. And if you're lucky, our 3 alpaca will let you photograph them as they stare you down, but no cuddles for these guys -- they're there to keep the foxes away. Night time is magical. With no light pollution, it's a stargazers paradise and on a still evening you'll hear boobooks, possums and frogs. The popular tourist village of Yarragon is 16km down a winding unsealed road one way, while the larger town of Mirboo North is about the same distance going the other way. Mount Worth State Park is 13km from our property and Lyrebird Forest Walk Regional Park is 26km just outside Mirboo North. While there's a lot to do around these parts, my guess is you won't want to leave the property.

Looking for the perfect camping getaway? Come and enjoy a relaxing stay at our beautiful private oasis, Beaver Dam. We offer waterfront camping at a stunning 300-megalitre dam where you can swim and cool off on warm days, or throw in a fishing rod or two. Our rates are based on booking the entire private area—whether you have one caravan or six—making it the perfect destination for groups. You can set up camp at our dedicated waterside campsite or use the large grassed area just a step back from the water. Both options offer spectacular views of the private dam and are suited for caravans, making it convenient for all campers. With plenty of space to roam and discover, you’ll find tranquillity and adventure all in one place. Whether you’re unwinding by the water or heading out to nearby hikes, wineries, lookouts, or motorbike tracks, our site makes for the perfect escape. 🐾 Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but as this is a working cattle farm, please only bring your pets if you’re certain they’ll be fine around livestock. Kindly remove all dog waste from the main camping areas. 🚐 The dedicated waterfront site can fit approximately six caravans, while the grassed area can accommodate larger groups—just reach out if you’d like to book for more. ⚠️ Important: All campers must be self-contained and take all waste with them when leaving. Strictly no dumping of waste or greywater on the property. 🔥 A dedicated fire pit is available when conditions allow—please follow all local fire restrictions. 🏍 No motorbikes are permitted on the property, but many great trails are located nearby. This is a unique, private camping experience on our family-owned working cattle farm. We’re opening our property to share our piece of paradise with you, and all we ask is that you treat it with respect and leave everything as you found it. ✨ Book your stay today and experience the beauty that surrounds you! ✨

Tiny Castle at Tynecastle Park

100%
(23)
23km from Moe · 1 site · Lodging · Allambee Reserve, VIC
