Camping sites are situated at the back of the property just a quick 5-minute walk from the car park. We'll transport your gear to your campsite so you can get set up quickly and start exploring the property or just kick back and relax. The three campsites are positioned so that you won't hear a sound from any other campers on the property. You will feel like you've got the whole place to yourself. And even though the campsites are isolated you'll still enjoy the convenience of clean regular flushing toilet facilities. No wild party groups, please! Please respect the peaceful surrounds, our family and neighbours, so please keep the noise down after 10pm.
Sorry, but dogs are generally not allowed as we have dogs, free-ranging chickens, horses and cattle, and they may not mix well!

Guests must be mostly self contained and must take all waste/rubbish with them on departure. We have a toilet available for our campers and an outdoor solar shower. Potable water as well. Please note that we are on tank water and please be careful to turn taps off and follow the instructions we have near each of the water sources.
Fires are allowed as long as the fire ban guidelines are followed. No ground fires allowed. We have fire pits available for you to use free of charge or bring your own. There is also plenty of wood around the place that you are welcome to pick up. But we recommended you bring some of the bigger logs with you.
Just a 5 minute drive to the magnificent 90 mile beach and plenty of bush tracks to go walking or bike riding.
The township of Woodside is just up the road has a service station/Post office/shop. 15 minutes to township of Yarram and 35mins to Sale city.
Given we are a small campground with neighbours nearby we ask that all campers please be considerate of them and their fellow campers. If you like to party then this is not the place for you.

We are 1 hour East of Melbourne along the M1, (and a couple of kms off the M1). Situated in West Gippsland, Casa Cucina is a feast for the senses from the alpine majesty of the Baw Baw Plateau, the Bunyip State Forest, the lush green valleys, to the rivers and streams… there is always something to do in West Gippsland for the curious. Other attractions in the area are Gumbuya World, Nangara Reserve, Noojee and Neerim South, PLUS of course the wineries.
The Tarago River backs onto our small yet spacious, open yet shaded space. The river is shallow for paddling, as well as ‘swimmable’ (at your own risk), a lovely spot to cool off on our warm summer days, or a mesmerising place to sit, watch, read, contemplate, draw or write. Some large old Mountain Ash remain along the river bank, with lots of new plantings. It is not uncommon to see an echidna, a variety of stunning birdlife, and on dusk, maybe a wombat family. We also host a family of platypus if you are very quiet.
Our river block can hold up to 4 caravans (under 10 metres) and a couple of tents in one group (one booking). In addition, the upper adjoining block can accommodate 2 caravans (enquire for this option). This is a single group occupancy site so you can enjoy the privacy of your group.
If you wish to hook into our powered site, please add $10 per night, per van. All campers will also have access to our Casa Cucina gorgeous eclectic, quirky community space to sit in out of the weather. Please note: This is not an accommodation space.
As a reminder, all campers will need to be Self Contained as we have no toilet facilities, no access to fresh water, cold showers only and no cooking facilities.
Also remember if you wish to have a fire in our firepit, you MUST bring your own wood.

No wild party groups, please! Please respect the peaceful surrounds, our family and neighbours, so please keep the noise down after 10pm.
Sorry, but dogs are generally not allowed as we have dogs, free-ranging chickens, horses and cattle, and they may not mix well!

We are 1 hour East of Melbourne along the M1, (and a couple of kms off the M1). Situated in West Gippsland, Casa Cucina is a feast for the senses from the alpine majesty of the Baw Baw Plateau, the Bunyip State Forest, the lush green valleys, to the rivers and streams… there is always something to do in West Gippsland for the curious. Other attractions in the area are Gumbuya World, Nangara Reserve, Noojee and Neerim South, PLUS of course the wineries.
The Tarago River backs onto our small yet spacious, open yet shaded space. The river is shallow for paddling, as well as ‘swimmable’ (at your own risk), a lovely spot to cool off on our warm summer days, or a mesmerising place to sit, watch, read, contemplate, draw or write. Some large old Mountain Ash remain along the river bank, with lots of new plantings. It is not uncommon to see an echidna, a variety of stunning birdlife, and on dusk, maybe a wombat family. We also host a family of platypus if you are very quiet.
Our river block can hold up to 4 caravans (under 10 metres) and a couple of tents in one group (one booking). In addition, the upper adjoining block can accommodate 2 caravans (enquire for this option). This is a single group occupancy site so you can enjoy the privacy of your group.
If you wish to hook into our powered site, please add $10 per night, per van. All campers will also have access to our Casa Cucina gorgeous eclectic, quirky community space to sit in out of the weather. Please note: This is not an accommodation space.
As a reminder, all campers will need to be Self Contained as we have no toilet facilities, no access to fresh water, cold showers only and no cooking facilities.
Also remember if you wish to have a fire in our firepit, you MUST bring your own wood.

We loved our stay at Clancy Springs - Adrian and Sandy are lovely and welcoming hosts. Clancy Springs is camping made easy, which we thoroughly appreciated with two little ones. The camp kitchen is incredibly well equiped and the toilet and shower were always in impeccable condition. We loved dining with the cows and kangaroos at meal times (in the next door paddock!)

Amazing campsite. Great views and facilities.
The ride to campsite is fun. Opening and closing gates gives you a little “outback-ish” feel. A little bit off road.
Adrian is a great guy. Very welcoming and his campsite is well looked after. He updated his facilities about two years ago so all is new.
(Shower is amazing)
The site itself is beautiful and spacious. At dawn the kangaroos show themself in the back field. I guess that explains the name.
10/10 would recommend.

This was a beautiful hipcamp with a lovely view out over the Gippsland Hills. We had a fantastic time staying here, their cooking facilities and facilities were lovely and clean. We couldn’t recommend more staying here especially the beautiful dog Daisy that runs around.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Sale Caravan Park. From the moment we arrived, the host welcomed us with the biggest smile
you could genuinely feel the pure, positive energy.
We were even given an upgrade, which was such a kind surprise and made our stay even more special. The amenities were spotless, fresh, and very well maintained. Everything felt clean, calm, and comfortable.
One thing I highly recommend: ask the host about the psychic story. It’s incredibly interesting and honestly a soul-opening experience — something that really stays with you.
Overall, an easy 10 out of 10. We’ll absolutely be back!

Our 3 night camping experience at Kangaroo Rise was nothing short of spectacular. The hosts Adrian and Sandy are 2 of the most gracious and helpful people you will ever meet! The site itself is very clean and spacious, surrounded by nature. Waking up to Cows moo'ing and Roos going about their mornings within stones throw away made for an absolutely memorable stay. We brought our dog along and he had a blast free roaming within a fenced off area (with other guests' permission of course). We couldn't stop commending the cleanliness and how well equipped the amenities were. It made sense because we learnt that a lot of effort was put into constructing the kitchen, shower and toilet area. It's definitely one of the best we've ever seen and we'll definitely be back. Thanks again Adrian and Sandy for your hospitality!

This is awesome glamming - great amenities, view, helpful hosts, central to so many good activities. The warm shower, kitchenette, power and toilet means camping is a breeze. Our 4 nights were peaceful and I’ll remember watching the late afternoon rolling scenery of cows, wildlife, n summer skies…. And the fun days of exploring Prom country.

We loved the idyllic setting down by the lake which felt secluded and clean. The access was easy, even with a van and Nic the host showed us around. The site is great with some really interesting and fun accommodation options if camping isn’t your thing.
