Although we didn't get to meet Steve, he has a lovely well kept property with lots of level places to pitch a tent or position your caravan. Really enjoyed our quiet and relaxed stay with everything you need all close by.
There is power and water available at the shed, but it may be necessary to bring your own extension lead and hose with adapters.

We loved our first tent camping experience with our 1 year old, the site was secure and enclosed which was great with a roaming baby and pets, water and power were available, if you need a shower youll need to bring your own powered one otherwise at East Beach Geelong the public showers are heated until 10am.
Daisy was really nice and accomodating to any of our requests. We were able to have a fire pit using our own wood, and for 3 nights we only needed 8 logs. The pool wasnt accessible to swimming at this time of year as the weather didnt permit. The area was quiet, serene and other guests we met were really lovely.
This spot is 25 minutes from Barwon heads and its beaches, which is one of our favourite areas and your not too far from shops and the esplanade if you feel like being social.
We will be coming back again.

Stayed during the Easter long weekend. I loved the place n the host Grace was friendly n helpful. Learned quite a lot about horses 🐎 at her ranch. Clean toilets n shower giving you the comforts you need. There were about 14 campers in the campsite, but you had the privacy given that camping area is huge n had quite a distance from each other. Attended the Easter bf as well. Yea is only 15 km drive, n drove down to Broadford motor cycle track, to watch a track day.

We loved camping at Grace's place. She is a lovely host, checking on us everyday, we went during Easter and we had some activities such as deer walk and breakfast. And in the end, she organized a trip to the top of the mountains in her property and the view was amazing.
There is bathroom and hot showers.
The campsite was great to see wildlife such as kangaroos, birds, deers and a part of the horses and livestock she raises.
Only recommendation: bring your own potable water

Awesome little spot tucked behind the dam and nestled between the blackberrys on the seasonal creek.
The puppy would come visit each morning to hang out with the kids.
Lovely little walk around the property visiting the sheep and alpaca neighbours.
Felt very welcomed on arrival.

Grace’s Land was the perfect spot for our Easter weekend camp trip to the High Country. We had the best time relaxing, switching off and soaking up serene countryside views by day and spectacular starry skies by night. Grace is a warm, welcoming and friendly host who goes above and beyond to make sure her guests have an amazing camping experience while staying in her land. Highly recommend!

This was our first camping weekend away with our puppy and we couldn't have asked for a better place for it. Grace and her family have created such a wonderful space, perfect for relaxing, having fun and enjoying the countryside either alone or with the other guests if you fancy it.
We took a walk up the hill to sit and take in the beautiful views while writing our vows, which is a memory we will never forget. The showers and toilets were great and the communal BBQ came in handy too.
I would highly recommend Grace’s land to anyone, especially to those looking to take time away from their devices and truly appreciate the beauty around them. Thank you so much Grace, you'll be seeing us again!

We enjoyed our long weekend at Grace’s land. It is very convenient if you are riding the Great Victorian Rail Trail. Grace was super friendly and so was her dog spot. Toilets and hot showers were a bonus. A great place to relax would visit again.

Had a fantastic time camping at silver creek escape the site is well maintained and the fire pit is the PERFECT size. We had a group of 7 people staying with a caravan, a car tent, and a standard tent all of which fit beautifully will 100% be booking again

We had a great time camping amongst the young eucalypts at School Pine Farm! Lyn was a great host and let us feed the cows, sheep and Buddy the horse. A beautiful property that we definitely want to visit again!

Marc was very accommodating. On the second night, we came back from surfing to a lit fire, which was very considerate. The site is also just the right size for a peaceful getaway. Would definitely recommend!

What a wonderful spot to camp. We loved camping high up in the hills at the Hilton.
Accessible only by 4wd it starts by a steep climb up the ridge with amazing views across Yea. Up top there is just you and mother nature, no toilets or showers but there is good phone reception.
We were lucky enough to have some beautiful weather on our first night with clear skies and the stars and moon to light up the night sky.
Originally we had planned to stay up there one night and come down to camp at Graceland but we loved it so much we stayed up top and spent 2 days hiking the hills and valleys of this huge property to see kangaroosand deer's with put two dogs a hikers paradise.

Steve is super friendly and helpful. He met us at the gate at 8pm after we'd come off the Spirit of Tasmania and got us settled and had a lovely chat.
The site is a 1 acre block on the edge of Geelong only about 20 minutes from the ferry. It's nice and flat and easily accessible for overnighters like we were but also has longer term visitors for weeks (or a family we met there had been using it as base for a couple of months!
Our dogs also got the treat of being able to play off lead with Steve's dog and another guest's dog as the property is fully fenced and, as long as all the doggos are getting on and being supervised, it's fairly relaxed.
I'd recommend this as a great overnighter befor or after the ferry but also as a base to explore Geelong.
