We had a fantastic stay on the property over a few nights. The place is vast in nature, great views, is nice and quiet and with clean and new facilities. There are farm animals around and even a fresh supply of eggs! Our hosts Ally & Shane were very kind and thoughtful, making sure we were comfortable throughout the entire stay. Thank you so much, and would highly recommend!!

What an amazing weekend. Great facilities, breathtaking view and amazing host. Loved gathering eggs, firewood and all the nature sounds. Kids and dogs had the time of their life. Special thank you for allowing us to groom the horses. What an adventure.

The camp site was so convenient and peaceful. Perfectly level and short riding distance to a number of wineries and the lake. Communication with Amanda was a complete pleasure. I’d happily stay again in the future.

I loved this farm stay. It was beautiful, just me the horses, chickens, campfire and the stars. There was a very clean shower and toilet, and the hosts were really helpful.

We all had a great time at Jackaleah Farm and would definitely visit again. The location was perfect and Dan was very responsive to all communication prior and during our stay. Plenty of firewood for campfires and the kids loved fishing in the river too. Thanks again for a wonderful trip!

A great location, we had an amazing weekend and Dan and Arthur were fantastic! The kids loved building rock pools and playing down by the water. We had plenty of firewood and they came to check to make sure we had enough to keep us going over the weekend. The camp spot was well maintained. We had a large group with caravans and we all had plenty of room, we will definitely be back!

Perfectly located, just a short drive to town and wineries and with easy access to lake moodemere walking trails. We enjoyed the stargazing and sunset colours across the fields.

Our farm stay was just what we needed for a short getaway over the long weekend. The farm was perfect for us-clean flush toilets, hot showers, and most of all, an incredibly accommodating host. We even got to collect fresh eggs straight from the chook pen for free! We stayed for two nights in a roof top tent with our two dogs and had a wonderful time. Definitely recommending this to friends and looking forward to coming back. Thanks, Ally!

We camped with a large group (7 families) and had exclusive use of a paddock with out any major visibility from other campers.
Our site had power although it was located in one corner away from where we would ideally want to camp, I would recommend bringing some long high quality extension leads if power is important. (remember this is a farm not a caravan park).
While it doesn't have toilets the public toilets located at Oxley Memorial Park was about 1.5km away. We also had chemical/camp toilets there is a good quality dump site with hose at the Oxley Recreation Reserve with a $5 honesty box fee which is a 5min / 4 km drive away.
Plenty of flat land including quite close to the river bank we had 2 caravans, 1 camper van, and 4 tents in the group and everyone found a location they were happy with. We were well under the capacity the space could easily fit. Grass is 'good paddock' it isn't house lawn level smooth but doesn't look like it has had live stock through it in a long time.
Road access in/out was well maintained gravel driveway until the field itself.
The river is the absolute highlight, there is a sort of rock damn that splits your access into upper and lower sections with good depth (about 2m in some spots). Water was flowing constantly in peak summer which kept bug levels down. It is a LOT better with reef shoes to get in/out. Water was darker but quite clean. Note you do share this section with campsite across the river.

We stayed here for the Aussie Day long weekend. So peaceful and amazing toilet/showers. Ally made us feel very welcomed and even showed us where to get daily eggs. Lots of animals to see and crystal clear night sky. Will stay again. 5 stars.

We had a great time at jackaleah farm. The space was a lovely grass area right next to the river. We had plenty of room for 5 large setups and still loads of space to run around. It was great to be able to cool off on a hot weekend! We were able to float around in the deep bits, float down the mini waterfall and the kids loved jumping off the log. There was a group the other side of the river but we still felt like we had loads of privacy. Firewood was provided which was great and the hosts were amazing to deal with! Site felt secluded yet really close to some to lovely cafes and pubs. We would happily go back. The stars at night around a camp fire just made the weekend.

Plenty of options for caravan setup. Host Ally and Shane were fantastic. Very informative and knew the area well. Also very welcoming, nothing was a problem. The property has everything and more. Hunter the dog, chickens, horses and sheep were great. Highly recommend.
