Guests with horses can bring up to two per booking. You may set up a portable yard off your float or request a private paddock, this needs to be arranged in advance. Please note that stallions are not permitted. Horse-related activities, require at least one week’s notice prior to your stay.
The creek is tidal, offering opportunities to fish, swim, or explore by stand-up paddleboard or inflatable boat. Pony rides for children are available at an additional cost, payable in cash on the day & subject to availability. Msg Jenna at least 1 week prior to book this. Buckets of goat feed can also be purchased to hand feed the goats during your stay. We currently have 3 kids who are very cuddly and cute with twins due any day now.

The property has designated fire pits per site. You must be fully self contained with either your van, kombi or caravan. We only expect from our guests that you leave no trace behind.
When you arrive over the old iron bridge you will see a gate and signage on the left.
We have three sites available to book.
Site 1 looks west towards the family home but further enough away to feel private it overlooks the dam and has the most space for larger caravans or motor homes.
Site 2 looks East and faces away from the family home.
Site 3 Is nestled under the trees and overlooks the creek.
All sites sit on an area of approx 1/2 Acre and can be rented seperately so you may have neighbours depending on bookings.
For families with young children we have a dam and a creek so it is your responsibility to ensure that your children are supervised around these water sources. Please consider this when making your booking.
Our policy is no noise after 9pm and we ask that sites be left in the same state as they were on arrival.
The property is Located close to the heart of Eumundi you can take a nice stroll up the lane, enjoy a camp fire (fire pits provided for you), relax under the stars, enjoy the many cafes and restaurants with just a short 4min drive and of course the world famous Eumundi Markets is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The creek is tidal, offering opportunities to fish, swim, or explore by stand-up paddleboard or inflatable boat. A beautiful property that is well maintained. It was close to Eumundi and the highway. Lots of green grass for the kids and dog to have a run. Spacious sites and water. We extended our stay and Rob was very hospitable and friendly.

This is a great spot to stay. Everything was very well maintained. Plenty of space for the kids to run around and play. Not far from town. Being connected to water was definitely a bonus. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful spot not too far off the highway. Easy access to the sunshine coast, with Noosa and Coolum 25 min away. Great for stargazing as well with very dark skies.

We camped in the overflow area so we could use the fire pits. It's a massive open area with shaded spots closer to the creek for the afternoon sun. Not mowed as short as the showpiece area a bit further on. We had the area to ourselves. The main camp area is very nice and would be the most amazing spot for families with kids. Heaps of flat well maintained grass for games etc. So close to Eumundi for the markets and Tewantin/Noosa. A short drive to Kenilworth. Great position.

A great place to spend a quiet couple of nights. A very well maintained area surrounded by nature. Only a 5-10 minute drive to Eumundi and Cooroy. But if you want to do nothing but relax, this is an ideal place to do it.

We loved our stay at Jacqueline's place, camping in the rain forest beside a beautiful creek.
Jacqui had the camping spot nicely set up with Hammocks, coffee and tea ready to enjoy.
There was lots to do around the area as well,
We can definitely recommend this place

Great open area with some tucked way camping areas. Great fire pit and kitchen area and amenities block, toilet and shower were brand new. Very nice people, with a very nice camp area, would stay again.

This is a stunning and well maintained camp ground. Close to Eumundi and the M1. Lots of green grass for the kids to enjoy and Rob was very hospitable and friendly. We loved that the sites were spread out that we could access water.

Camping at site 2 down by the creek is where it’s at. The horses and goats were so friendly, roaming around your campsite. Kayaks by the river to use and a nice communal fire pit to sit around. Beautiful stay, will be back ☺️

We had an agenda while we were on the Sunshine Coast, and Happy Haven was well situated for us. Katrina & Co. were very friendly and nonintrusive, except maybe for the large mower first thing in the morning. The facilities were suitably accommodating and the availability of firewood was a pleasant extra. Thanks for having us, we’ll book again.

We recently stayed at Horseshoe Hideaway Hipcamp for our very first Hipcamp experience — and our first trip away in our caravan — and we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to both!
The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the horses were such a highlight. We were honestly surprised by how friendly and gentle they were. It made the whole stay feel really special, especially for our girls.
Jenna was an absolutely wonderful host. She kindly took our two girls for a pony ride and made them feel completely comfortable and excited. She’s warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what she does. We also really appreciated her taking the time to teach us all about the horses — it added so much to the experience.
Thank you for such a memorable first Hipcamp stay. We’d happily recommend Horseshoe Hideaway to anyone looking for a unique and family-friendly getaway!
