Amazing spot, very private right on the water. Host was excellent and fishing was great too. We highly reccomend and we'll be rebooking soon. The dogs loved running around off leash and having lots of swims too.

Awesome location on the Maroochy river. Todd was an easy going laid back host. The location is very private and we had it all to ourselves. Good fishing and crabbing. Thanks for sharing your property with us. We will be back again.

Great camp site. Plenty of space, nice and flat, shade where you need it. Being right on the river makes it very peaceful and relaxing. There is the occasional boat, but what else to you expect. There is a good location to fish but we only managed a few catfish and if you were more than a few people you'd likely end up in tangles (at least the way I fish). Lastly, Todd left us alone. He greeted us and helped us find the right place to setup and that was the last we heard from him which was nice.
Overall, I'd go back because it's roomy and peaceful, which is what I like.

What a beautiful and private spot. Todd is an excellent host and we really enjoyed our 4 days camping with our two dogs. Great that we had a boat ramp on site so we spent each day out on the water in the mornings and then drove down to Coolum to Stumers Creek where the dogs had swims and beach time.

Great site right on the Maroochy River to enjoy fishing, boating and just relaxing! Todd is really friendly and helpful, and the site is really private as you have it all to yourself. We had fun throwing in crab pots to try and catch ourselves some mud crabs! Plenty of space for dogs to run around, and shade to enjoy during the hottest part of the day. Well maintained and fire pit provided. Very handy if you have your own boat or jet ski as there is a gravel boat ramp at the site.

It was great to meet Todd on arrival – he made us feel welcome straight away and was happy to answer any questions about the property. The camping area was tidy, well kept and thoughtfully set out, with plenty of shade from the midday and afternoon sun which made a big difference on warmer days.
The firepit was excellent and ready to use, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. Fishing was superb and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Nights were quiet and peaceful, exactly what we were looking for, yet the property is close enough to the nearest town if you need to duck in for supplies.
We had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend Todd’s place to anyone looking for a relaxed, well-maintained camping spot.

Coordinates on page need to be changed to street address for easier access. Otherwise beautiful location, and quiet place.

What a great spot. Camped right near the river and no one else around. Depending where you park, we got shade and a nice breeze in the afternoon which kept us cool on a sunny day. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Perfect spot. Todd was awesome at communicating. Our family had such a great time, fishing, boating and swimming. The dogs had the best weekend of their lives. The beauty of this hip camp is that you have it to yourselves.

We booked another stay while on our first visit.
It's an awesome place, just as described. Easy to get to, close enough but far enough away from everything and everyone. We didn't get to meet Todd but we spoke on thd phone. He was super helpful and easy going.

What an absolutely brilliant spot! The open spaces were perfect for the whole family – plenty of room for the dogs to run free and burn off energy. We loved having direct water access and made the most of it by getting the kayaks out each day.
The big kids had a blast fishing and enjoying water sports, while we got to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. Todd, the host, is amazing – so welcoming, helpful, and easy to deal with.
We enjoyed it so much that we booked our next stay before we even left. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, relaxing camping getaway with plenty to do for all ages (and the dogs!).

Had a very peaceful stay fishing was great we caught bream and catfish had a visit from a very friendly butcher bird and some black cockatoos Todd the owner came for a brief hello which I missed because I was so relaxed I had a nanna nap would recommend highly peace, quiet, and all yours

What a fantastic location on the Maroochy River. We just spent a fantastic week at Todd's place and had a ball. Totally offgrid and tucked behind the many trees that offer protection from any wind and the setting western sun. These trees will be a real bonus in the summer months because they create great shade from mid afternoon onwards. The boat ramp is fantastic and Todd has plans to cement that ramp very shortly he tells us. Caught fish every day on the run in and run tides. Had the place to ourselves and our dogs loved the opporunity to be off leash. FYI, it is only a short run into Yandina for supplies or great coffee at the Gun and Cotton Cafe. Maroochydoore is only 15 clicks away and there is plenty to see in the area, including the coastal beaches. We will definately be returning to this spot as it is now one of our HIPCAMP favourites. What an amazing spot on the Maroochy River. Eazy access, plenty of room, and the whole site to ourselves. To top it off, the host, Todd, is a great bloke that went above and beyond to make our stay at Burtons Riverside unforgetable.

Wow! Stunning camp right on the banks of the Maroochy River. Lovely mountain views across the river . Nice and quiet, away from the road and in a central Sunny Coast location. Well maintained camp site. Lots of room and very private. Todd is a wonderful host. We had a great time here and can't wait to return!

Highly recommend Todd's River side camp. Todd is very easy to communicate with, super friendly and he goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and make your stay comfortable. The camp-site is beautiful, right on the river with great views over to the mountains. Todd supplies a fire pit. There is good Telstra service and TV service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. Thank you Todd
