Keep in mind from December to March we have hot, rainy summers. For the adventurous campers who use swags/tents, we suggest a stretcher and a gazebo with walls for a little comfort. Some areas need 4wd also.

Be mindful around all animals as they get to know you, be smart please. Kids can bring bikes, must be supervised at all times, no screaming or running.
Pets are welcome, we have 2 dogs Jesse and Cane, who are both very friendly. Our Maremma is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog, he does bark a little at night to protect our pets, which goes hand in hand with all of our other farm noises 😉
Our Neighbours have fish farms, you may hear the odd gun go off, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. It's totally safe.
Feel free to put on some music and have a few drinks by the campfire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed, so we do not accommodate noisy parties.
Relax and unwind with a book or go for a bush walk and listen to the kookaburras. Watch Sea Eagles, pelican, wild budgies, rainbow lorikeet and more. All your cares will feel like they are a million miles away as you soak up nature, we guarantee you will have an amazing experience.
6 Kms in at our historic Childers there is a Woolworths, IGA, great pubs for lunch, cafes and bakeries, plus a swimming pool, museum, snakes down under and Woodgate beach 25 mins away.

For your convenience, our well-equipped camp kitchen includes a fridge, toaster, kettle, electric frypan, and microwave, along with all the necessary cutlery and crockery. Please remember to clean up after using the kitchen to keep it welcoming for everyone.
In the kitchen area you will also find a pool table and dart board and arcade game for your use.
If you choose to bring your horse you will find stabling or yards under Extras as begin your booking. The cost can be seen as you view the sites. The stables are rubber floored, meaning you use minimal sawdust therefore minimal dust. They are equipped with automatic waterers and feed bins. The yards are separated so that the horses can't reach each other from one yard to the other. Please ensure these areas are cleaned before you leave. There are rakes and wheelbarrows provided near the arena and at the end of the stables for your convenience.
Our sites are best suited to self contained camping but there is shower and toilet availability on the property. There is a dump site situated in Crescent St Childers

We have a beautiful hobby farm on 2 and a half acres. Camping is at the front of the property where you will find vegie gardens and fruit trees. There is also a fire pit (plenty of firewood available), a trampoline and a games shed with toilet, shower and kitchenette facilities. Yes we live on the property and the campsite is in the front yard, however we do not infringe on your space at your campsite or the amenities area - these are yours and yours only whilst camping here. Keep in mind from December to March we have hot, rainy summers. For the adventurous campers who use swags/tents, we suggest a stretcher and a gazebo with walls for a little comfort. Some areas need 4wd also.

Be mindful around all animals as they get to know you, be smart please. Kids can bring bikes, must be supervised at all times, no screaming or running.
Pets are welcome, we have 2 dogs Jesse and Cane, who are both very friendly. Our Maremma is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog, he does bark a little at night to protect our pets, which goes hand in hand with all of our other farm noises 😉
Our Neighbours have fish farms, you may hear the odd gun go off, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. It's totally safe.
Feel free to put on some music and have a few drinks by the campfire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed, so we do not accommodate noisy parties.
Relax and unwind with a book or go for a bush walk and listen to the kookaburras. Watch Sea Eagles, pelican, wild budgies, rainbow lorikeet and more. All your cares will feel like they are a million miles away as you soak up nature, we guarantee you will have an amazing experience.
6 Kms in at our historic Childers there is a Woolworths, IGA, great pubs for lunch, cafes and bakeries, plus a swimming pool, museum, snakes down under and Woodgate beach 25 mins away.

In the kitchen area you will also find a pool table and dart board and arcade game for your use.
If you choose to bring your horse you will find stabling or yards under Extras as begin your booking. The cost can be seen as you view the sites. The stables are rubber floored, meaning you use minimal sawdust therefore minimal dust. They are equipped with automatic waterers and feed bins. The yards are separated so that the horses can't reach each other from one yard to the other. Please ensure these areas are cleaned before you leave. There are rakes and wheelbarrows provided near the arena and at the end of the stables for your convenience.

We have a beautiful hobby farm on 2 and a half acres. Camping is at the front of the property where you will find vegie gardens and fruit trees. Easy check in process and guidance for late check in. Site was great and close to bbq area, we opted for an en-suite pitch and the bathroom was really big, although I was say the shower while hot could maybe do with an upgrade! Also the power socket was quite high up on the roof too so was a little tricky to plug in.

Highly recommend staying here, is a beautiful place to stay. Loved that there's goats, cows , chickens and ducks roaming and the Fairy track and garden is an awesome idea. Was easy access just have off highway. We have a big 19mtr bus and had plenty room to park it with water access. I even got to see and catch my first ever firefly. We had such a lovely night at Woodlands Farmstay - large bush sites with firepits, feels very peaceful and secluded despite being so easily accessible from the highway and so close to town. Beautiful view of the stars at night too!
Susan and Vinnie are fabulous hosts, really friendly and helpful, and having a chance to interact with the gorgeous farm animals was a highlight for us!
