Rosgrow Farm, 15 minutes off the Bruce Highway, offers secluded campsites set on a large tidal creek. There are plenty of trees and shelter. The creek offers fishing, crabbing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, boating and swimming. Fire pits and picnic areas make the sites perfect for evening relaxation with bird life and jumping fish, talking about the day's fishing or eating the day's crab catch. Limited firewood is sometimes available. It can be bought at a reasonable price about 9km along the road towards Burrum Heads.. Campers must be self-contained with their own toilet and shower and need to remove their rubbish. Particularly suitable for RVs and caravans with own toilet. Well suited for overnight travelers passing between Maryborough and Bundaberg, or others needing a few days rest, fishing or water activities. Sandflies are a problem in this region anywhere near water, in the mornings until about 9am and in the evenings after about 3:30pm, so bring plenty of repellent and apply early and often. Sites are 30-40 metres apart with a maximum of 8 vehicles and their occupants in the whole property. No overcrowding! Pricing: Basic booking is for a vehicle with caravan, or an RV, and 2 people. Some sites can accommodate more than 1 caravan - if you are travelling with others and want to share a site, please make a separate booking for them at one of the other sites and feel free to get them to share your site instead.

The camping was great, right by the river. Potable water was roughly 100m away from all sites. The site was well maintained and Greg is very helpful and easy to communicate with. My boy really enjoyed fishing, he caught many fish. Some issues we found were that the noise is loud (from the cars on the old m1 highway) and at summer the midgies and mosquitoes are everywhere (so we recommend you bring missive spray) overall this campsite was really nice to stay at, and we enjoyed our time there. So we recommend it to anyone who’s staying there for a night or two.

What a beautiful spot, right by Beelbi creek where we caught a couple of fish and a really good feed of mud crabs. 🦀 Well maintained property with picnic tables and fire pits. We even spotted a couple of fire flys. 🔥 The hosts were more than accommodating and very prompt with communications. Keep well sprayed with the bushmen's ( with deet) and you'll have no problems with sandflies or mozzies. Mosquitoes 🦟 I'll definitely be back only 3 1/2 hours from Brisbane left at 6:00am was set up by 10:30am

We enjoyed camping at Greg’s campground with a great view of the river, the site was well maintained and with the sites nestled between the trees giving a lovely succulent feel. Greg was a great host meeting us when we arrived and spent time in explaining the site, Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Fantastic Hipcamp! Heaps of grass spots to choose from, free firewood, lots of nature - including fireflies, which we've never seen before. Shane, the host, was great and checked in with us to let us know a storm was coming. Stayed a week, but could easily have stayed for longer.

Really nice stay. Greg is a great bloke very helpful, his property is right on the water with plenty of fish a crab to be caught! Our young children had a ball playing in his little tidal lagoon . It's not deep so you dont have to worry about them too much. Campsites are spaced well apart so dont be concerned about neighbours. Minutes away from town and Hervey Bay if you need anything or want to go on a day trip. We had great phone reception also 😀 on our faves list for sure.
