Most afternoons the local Rikali (Australias Otter) can be seen diving for Yabbies. We are an 11 minute drive to the very popular Main range national Park which has some beautiful hiking trails and is the perfect place for a picnic. We have a great country pub close by as well which is a short walk down a country lane. Pets are welcome but please ensure they are under your control and that you clean up after them. Our 17-acre block is just a couple of minutes walk from Woodenbong, a small rural village in northern NSW, 2 hrs south of Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Being in the country we don't have access to all of the telecommunication providers that the majority of Australians have in the city and living on the coast. However, we are served by Telstra so if you have a Telstra account you can use your mobile phone, laptop, iPad here. We have access to a wi-fi - ask for the password (charges may apply). Our advice is to disconnect from the city and reconnect with the country. You can access the great outdoors - all of our paddocks and the Woodenbong Common. There are several food options locally for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if you do not want to cook for yourself.

For those who may be into Waterskiing or Fishing Leslie Dam is a 10 min drive away and offers fishing and water sports then come back to your quiet camp away from the crowds. We are 20 min South of Warwick, We are only 30 min from the Stanthorpe Wineries, Breweries fresh fruit and Vege, Cheese factory to name a few things to do. A little further along you will find Girraween National Park renowned for amazing walks. Warwick Hosts the Biggest and Best Campdraft and Rodeo on the last full week of October (Covid permitting) as well as the quirky Jumpers and Jazz festival in July. Steam Train Journeys , half or full days, We have an amazing motor sport venue which holds meet every weekend, cars bikes, vintage, minis, Porsche's, you name it they race it every weekend. As well as many Equestrian Events, you can spend the day out exploring and then you can come back to your beautiful campsite, that is if you have not decided to stay relaxing and swimming for the day in the quiet watching the sheep and horses pass bye to then watch the Sunset and wildlife then look at the amazing night sky. Welcome to She-oak Hideaway, located in Maryvale by the riverside. The riverside is a peaceful place with two large camping areas and firepits. There are 2 large waterholes suitable for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Down by the riverside you will see Water dragons, turtles, ducks, swamp hens, many birds, occasional Wallabies and Koala. Most afternoons the local Rikali (Australias Otter) can be seen diving for Yabbies. We are an 11 minute drive to the very popular Main range national Park which has some beautiful hiking trails and is the perfect place for a picnic. We have a great country pub close by as well which is a short walk down a country lane. Pets are welcome but please ensure they are under your control and that you clean up after them. Our 17-acre block is just a couple of minutes walk from Woodenbong, a small rural village in northern NSW, 2 hrs south of Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Being in the country we don't have access to all of the telecommunication providers that the majority of Australians have in the city and living on the coast. However, we are served by Telstra so if you have a Telstra account you can use your mobile phone, laptop, iPad here. We have access to a wi-fi - ask for the password (charges may apply). Our advice is to disconnect from the city and reconnect with the country. You can access the great outdoors - all of our paddocks and the Woodenbong Common. The most well-maintained, gorgeous spot by the Condamine River. Firepits on each site and far enough away from the next camp to enjoy the space. Kayaks were a great option to explore the river. Lindsay was the friendliest of hosts and takes such pride in his beautiful HipCamp. The meat pack was delicious!! Just a heads up... lots of flies around Warwick at this time of year so remember the spray and your fly net to make things a little more comfortable..

The grounds are so well manicured, lush green grass for the kids and our dog to play on, we loved our adventures on the property, swimming in both the dams to cool off, then making use of the very well-appointed facilities, the hot showers were awesome.
