I have 6 sites at the moment each one is in a open bushland setting with lovely views, no site is within 100 meters of another and each one has a different view with lots of privacy. Kid friendly, shallow water,  and deep water for swimming or kayaking , creeks, animals to feed and heaps of room to run and play.  Adult friendly, huge sites for big groups and plenty of space great swimming and lots of things to here and  in the surrounding areas. Some sites are more suited to Caravans as the access is better and some are better suited to campers / 4WD but all can be accessed with a regular car. We have NO  road frontage so sites are private and quiet and safe and only 3ks off the New England Highway.   All campers MUST bring their own Chemical toilet and shower facilities. A small rest room and shower is available in case of emergency only I run a working farm raising Sheep and Lambs, Chickens, Ducks, Horses, Donkeys, Vegies, Preserves and Jams. Farm produce is available on request and availability, eg Free range eggs , farm raised Lamb, locally sourced Bacon for the BBQ , and seasonal vegetables, jams and chutneys.  Thanks to the Beautiful rain we have had recently, our large dam is  full, providing a wonderful spot for swimming, paddling or just splashing about, the Dam has long sloping access so is great for families and dogs, PLEASE NOTE The Google Maps photo is way out of date, our Dam is full. For those who may be into Waterskiing or Fishing  Leslie Dam is a 10 min drive away and offers fishing and water sports then come back to your quiet camp away from the crowds. We are 20 min South of Warwick,  We are only 30 min from the Stanthorpe Wineries, Breweries fresh fruit and Vege, Cheese factory to name a few things to do. A little further along you will find Girraween National Park renowned for amazing walks. Warwick Hosts the Biggest and Best Campdraft and Rodeo on the last full week of October (Covid permitting) as well as the quirky Jumpers and Jazz festival in July.  Steam Train Journeys , half or full days, We have an amazing motor sport venue which holds meet every weekend, cars bikes, vintage, minis, Porsche's, you name it they race it every weekend. As well as many Equestrian Events, you can spend the day out exploring and then you can come back to your beautiful campsite, that is if you have not decided to stay relaxing and swimming for the day in the quiet watching the sheep and horses pass bye to then  watch the Sunset and wildlife then look at the amazing night sky. We had a lovely weekend at Carrington and enjoyed our 2 night stay. Cathy was very friendly and helpful. We had lots of space at the top of the hill site with two caravans, you could easy fit four vans here. Great way to spend the afternoon walking around the dam, our dog loved jumping in for a swim. Highly recommended if you want a great bush camp with beautiful views and no one close by bar the sheep and horses who wonder past

Fire pits provided & optional fire wood for sale. Affordable , clean , peaceful. Can’t wait to rebook this location. Thank you Cathy!

Great location and plenty space
Our small group of 3 families loved camping here together at Easter with so much space between the sites it almost seemed like we were alone. Friendly host with some very tasty local produce. Would recommend if you like peace and quiet with beautiful views.

Beautiful open spaces!
Despite some bad weather, we really enjoyed our first camp trip to Carrington. Such a lovely big open space, was lovely to watch the sun set and moon rise eat day. The kids enjoyed exploring and visiting all the animals on the farm. Cathy was a lovely host, and we took advantage of cooking up some of her lovely lamb and fresh eggs. Lovely big sites away from everyone, thanks for having us Cathy!

Little Trees Tents only.
We loved our stay (Easter super cell storm aside)!! We camped at the Little Trees site and loved (1) space away from other campers, (2) easy access to the water for the dogs, (3) site size and AWD access. Will definitely be back, and are excited to try the site on both a warm summer weekend and a chilly winter night around the fire.

Awesome large sites, animals & fun
Awesome place to stay with plenty of animals, open space, huge distance between sites and a dam. We pre-ordered some lamb, bacon and eggs which Cathy had ready for us on arrival. Highly recommended.

Carrington is superb!
We really loved our few days at Carrington over Easter. Cathy is a great host and her home grown lamb was devine. Our two young granddaughters were mesmerised by the Milky Way and loved feeding Stan and Pepsi carrots. Pity about the 17kn wind but we still had a very relaxing time. Thank you Cathy, we will be back.

Absolutely delightful
We had a lovely stay at Carrington! We stayed ‘on top of the hill’ and fit 4 caravans comfortably. Cathy is an absolute gem and couldn’t have been more helpful! We purchased home made chutneys, fresh free range eggs and a fresh lamb roast which were all delicious. It’s a lovely peaceful property with only 8 sites that are very spread out so you have plenty of privacy which we love. It’s about a half hour drive into Stanthorpe from the campsite. We would definitely be back! In summer we would love to camp down by the big dam!

Love it and will be back
Lovely spot with heaps of room to spread out. Dam was larger then expected with nice sloping banks kids could play and kayak to their hearts content. Sites are open so can expect some wind which also meant mozzies were non existent. the animals and hosts are friendly and inviting with lots of horse pats. Thank you again for a wonderful stay

Picturesque countryside.
What a beautiful and tranquil place to stay. We had a picturesque view of the spring fed dam to wake up to every morning. Lush green grass and tress everywhere we could see. Countless visits to our camp-site from all the farm animals. Sheep, goats, horses and donkeys to name a few. We were able to have camp-fires each night over looking the beautiful countryside. Cathy the host was so lovely she even took the kids and us to feed the baby cows and chickens of a morning. We were even able to have our fur baby with us, who absolutely loved splashing in the dam. It was the perfect place for us to relax and unwind. We will most definitely be back again.

This is our second time camping at Carrington and had a great time again. We were 1 of only 2 groups on the whole site and had alot of privacy on the top of the hill site. This time we got to enjoy swimming in the dam. Highly recommend bringing some pool rings and just float around in the shallow water. Only thing to note is that there was alot of sheep poop on our site (understand it is a working farm) but had to keep on top of the pup to make sure she wasn't eating anything she shouldn't be.

Sooo Peaceful...
Wonderful place to relax away from the city life. The site was huge an well maintained, the dam was a great way to cool off and play on our kayak and SUP. It was also very cool to wake up to the farm animials wandering through the campsite in the mornings. Definately recommend camping here and will be back.

Little Trees Tents only.
We literally had the place to ourselves, so good timing. Great stage to re-connect with one of my kids. Cathy grabbed some worms to try and catch some fish which I was assured was in the dam…. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t any… being such a brilliant angler as I am there is no way there could be fish! ; - ) Probably the time of year with the flies during the day and moths at night, probably pack a zapper or bushman’s. We loved our stay. Thank you.

Highly Recommend
My husband and I as well as our fur baby (Jojo) had a wonderful time camping right on the waterfront of the HUGE dam. The farm animals kept us amused with their funny antics especially the donkeys and the baby donkey that was born on Boxing Day. The bird life is abundant. The early morning sunrises were spectacular and well worth getting up early to enjoy seeing the mist rising above the water as the sun came up. We purchased some farm fresh eggs and also some lamb and enjoyed cooking the lamb over the fire. One night my hubby cooked a rolled roast lamb on our rotisserie over the open fire and it was divine! Highly recommend purchasing some lamb from Cathy as well as some eggs. The farm is only about a 15 minute drive to Warrick so if you feel like heading out for a little shopping and exploring it’s not far to go. If you have a paddle board or a kayak like we do then I highly recommend taking them with you. It’s also a great spot for kids to enjoy as well. We don’t have any kids but there was a family camping on one of the other spots and their kids looked like they were having a great time. The camp spots are about 100mts apart so you get to enjoy a peaceful camping experience. The sites are HUGE! You could easily have a big group of friends camping at each campsite. We’re planning on returning with some friends for sure!

We stayed here between Christmas and New year. Had the place to ourselves!! So peaceful.... a baby donkey was born the day before we arrived. Mum was pretty protective at first but once Bub found their feet, we got to see!! Campsites and tracks were all slashed. Fire pits and wood was provided. Lake looked very inviting. Sunsets were stunning. Cathy was a great host, fresh produce was delicious and reasonably priced. We have an off road caravan but any caravan could access the property, Cathy would put you on a site right for your setup. Would definitely visit again.

Quiet camping week
I was looking for a relaxed week on a farm for a much-needed break. Cathy's Carrington property delivered in every respect. I was greeted and shown to my campsite which had a magnificent view of farm paddocks and a large farm dam. It proved to be a very relaxing week with a few sheep, horses and donkeys dropping by every now and then. I recommend to get out here, and start camping, it's a great spot.

Gum Tree
Country Hospitality at its best.
Upon arrival at Carrington we met Cathy on her quad bike. We were met with warmth and friendliness, so typical of country folk, quite refreshing from the get go. She guided us to our site, we chose the Gum Tree site on her lovely sheep and bit's n bob's property. A freshly mowed large area all to ourselves with two lovely gums providing shade, plenty of room not to park directly under, we all know about gum tree branches, and were then told we were free to go for walks, fish, kayak on the dam, which two years previously was completely empty, now full and lovely to look out over. We had a portable fire pit supplied with ample wood for the two of us for two nights, a water tank with potable water if needed, of which we didn't. She left us to set up while she tended her sheep, came back an hour later with a jar of homemade beetroot relish and a dozen eggs, so lovely! And told us the farm animals do pass through on occasion of which we didn't mind at all. We saw sheep in their daily routines, with a goat in the mix, horses, an array of birds enjoying the dam, a duck family with very new ducklings, an Eagle, Rosella's, Parrots, Galah's, Corella's, just in pairs, Ibis, a couple of others I didn't know, and a mob of Kangaroo's out the back paddock. And donkey's, every time they brayed we laughed, so comical. We highly recommend Carrington. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights there, a little escape, peaceful, typical Australian bush country, off-grid, bliss. Thanks Cathy!

We had a wonderful stay. The views were spectacular both during the day looking out over the lake, evening sunset views and then the vast star filled sky at night. Also enjoyed visits from horses, sheep and cows! Our host Cathy was really helpful and lovely to chat to. Such a relaxing place to stay.
