We provide an exclusive booking for you on absolute river frontage for tents and camper trailers.
Spend your time swimming, fishing, canoeing or simply sipping a cold drink on the pontoon under the umbrella. With an easterly aspect you’ll want to spend the morning swimming or exploring the riverscape and when the afternoon shade sets in light the campfire and put your feet up.
Please note... our campsite has been ongoing since 2017 and campers have kindly shared their many happy memories. Over the years, things change. Please take the photos lightly.
There is no vehicular boat ramp but still excellent access for other small watercraft. Due to the steep track to the camp area we insist on 4WD’s only - though you can walk down if feeling energetic!
Please bring drinking water and a desire to leave the riverside just as you found it. We have enough room for around 20 people in tents or camper trailers.
Portaloo toilet available at the campsite.
Campfires are permitted in the circle but please be mindful of any restrictions. You can purchase firewood from us if needed.
Dogs are also welcome but must stay with you at all times. Please let us know they are coming as well.

We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap.
The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area.
Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open.
You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill.
There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road.
Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill.
Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras.
We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite.
We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. Pre order your wood. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. There is sometimes wood located at each campsite but the amount and quality is varied.

Gumtree has a little flat area on top of creek bank and the rest is more uneven and sloped ground. More suitable for tents, swags, rooftops and small vans.
Creekbend is all flat and more suitable for bigger vehicles.
Old Stump is slighlty sloped and uneven but has some flat areas. Away from the other 2 camp area but suitable for large groups.
Quiet camp area on Creek bank. A short walk down the bank to shallow to mid depth running water, perfect to sit and chill out in, or watch the kids splash around. Plenty of shade down by the creek. It can be a steep or slippery walk down to the creek, depending on the weather and if the creek has recently risen or flooded.
Easily accessible by 2WD as long as its not too wet. Suitable for tents, caravans, RVs etc
Dogs allowed but must be supervised at all times and chained/locked up at night or if being a nuisance.

On a lush 286 acres backing onto Border Ranges National Park, we are surrounded by 3kms of creek with flowing slopes and beautiful sunset views of Mt Lindesay.
For campers we are focusing on around 30 acres and spots close to Sawpit Creek would be ideal to set up camp.
Bring your tent, swag or caravan and park up next to our beautiful Sawpit creek. Perfect for a swim! Currently there's a picnic table and some seating areas.
We will be building a compost toilet and large BBQ area soon! Drinking water is available, and at the moment we are welcoming only self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower.
Your pet is welcome to camp with you.
Our property backs onto Border Ranges National Park! And you can see Mt Lindesay from our property, so bring your camera! It's 15 min to Wiangaree and 35 min to Kyogle.
The camping area is 2WD accessible but you will have to cross some creeks. You should be ok in the 2WD as the creek crossing has a small incline and decline. We welcome caravans, campervans and camper-trailers/ tents.
You may see us pass by the camping area from time to time. We are a friendly as 😊 and invite you to have a coffee or beer with us.
There's no internet by the creek but you're more than welcome to connect to the wifi at our shack up the hill.

As we are a working cattle property, please be aware off roaming cattle and there will be cow poo around the property and there could be some on your campsite. We loved camping here. The directions are clear and easy. The camp sites are well looked after. If you’re looking for more of a private camp away from people definitely book the gumtree campsite. If you’re coming in a massive group or wanting a flat area that’s quite large but don’t mind being around other campers book the creek bend site.

This is personally my favourite hipcamp, ticks all the boxes , speckie az! Mountains in the backdrop crystal clear water in the creek nice to relax sit in the creek and chill on hot day,, and the 4x4 drive in and out its a little bitof fun too! 4rth time camping here and many more to come! Wood supplied, and a portable toilet if you dont have one (small fee) owners Keep the track and grounds maintained 10/10

Carol was lovely and showed us to an ever nicer campsite than we’d booked - Kent’s Pocket. The clear running creek there was absolutely gorgeous and campsite is private. It’s not flat though. We did have to level the camper quite a bit. We will be returning!

“Lovers Lane” was such a great campsite, meters to a running creek with crystal clear water.
About 200 meters down the creek theres a small waterfall with a natural slide into a waterhole which was great fun, excellent suggestion from the host to check it out.
Great spot, i will be back!

We absolutely loved camping in our Camper Trailer at Lovers Lane Over the Creek. Absolute creekside frontage with beautiful crystal clear waters, lots of little mini-falls and some good deep sitting holes for just lounging about in the cool water. Lovers Lane site is a quiet, grassy site tucked up the back of the property, just made for two.
There is a great little 4WD track into the site with a creek crossing to get there, and the owners do a great job maintaining the tracks.
The views of the Great Dividing Range and Cunninghams Gap from the track in is breathtaking and leaves you in awe of just how sheer the drop-off is the range as the property is almost tucked right up under it - or at least it seems to be as the ranfe towees over you.
We will definitely be back, it is the perfect place to decompress and switch off for a while.

We had a site by a very small swimming hole on the creek which was a blessing during a very hot January long weekend. Other sites didn’t seem to have much water in the creek by them. Only limited shade in the afternoon on this site though.

Another great weekend at Over the Creek. Cann’s Corner was very well maintained site and right alongside the creek -perfect for cooling off on very hot summer days. Drive in with our hybrid van is a 4 low challenge, but well worth it!
Hosts and cows are very friendly.
