Great spot for a few nights. Great host that greet you on arrival and then pretty much leave you alone to do your thing. Lots of animal to give some amusement. Hope they can get the issues sorted out with council. Will take the grandkids with us next time.

Wow, what a stunning place this is! As soon as you arrive, you are greeted by magical mountains, as you drive into the campsite it just gets more beautiful. We spent a wonderful night here, camping together, roasting marshmallows on the campfire and swimming in the river. Creating truly amazing memories, ones we know we'll hold onto for a long time. If you're looking for the perfect weekend escape we couldn't recommend this amazing place enough! Thank you for letting us stay!

Wow, what an amazing property!! Greated by Guy the owner who set us up with a beautiful camp spot. Brought down fire wood and a fire pit for us and made us feel right at home! We were greeted in the morning by a heap of chickens, goats, horses and Lamas! What a place to stay at, we will be back! AMAZING EXPERIENCE Thanks Guy

What a wonderful place to stay. Guy and his family were very friendly. A huge highlight was the abundance of animals to interact with. Our daughter loved seeing her "animal friends". The campsite was very peaceful and heaps of space between sites. Thankyou Guy and Hayley for having us.

The view over the farm in the morning is great to wake up too. Instructions of where to camp and explore the property were great and last minute request for firewood was met with a prompt reply. We loved Curtain Fig Drive. It was a magical family site. The actual caravan sites (we have a 24ft caravan) was so easy to park. We even stayed attached to the car for convenience. We paid for a feed bucket and fed the many animals and it was a blast. Our granddaughter came one of the days and help feed. She fed and petted the horses. She loved it. We also walked down to the pretty creek and of course, she again had to paddle. Guy, his wife and all his kids were wonderful. So friendly and helpful. The toilet and shower block is always clean. The only thing I would recommend is contacting Guy before you arrive. You really need to listen to the instructions of the address location. It is a little tricky. But if you do as he tells you it is simple. We give Curtains Fig Drive 5 stars.

Weekend Trip to OZ SKY RANCH

Our first experience at Oz Sky Ranch was really positive. Lisa is so genuine and friendly even with so many campers over a long weekend. The facilities were clean and the availability of port-a-loos was great. We had a double site suitable for two camper trailers and it was a perfect size. The grass was mowed, flat and green and while there were other campers around us, the use of bush and trees to separate camp sites was great. At first we thought the use of their wood was a bit much however being hardwood it lasted a lot longer than the usual bags you get from the side of the road and the one wheel barrow load lasted us two nights with some leftover. The surrounds were so beautiful, it is a lovely place around the lake and great that it is only a 10min drive to Mt Tamborine and 15min drive to Canungra. A great location for a weekend away. Thanks Lisa, we will definitely be back!

Bares Hideaway was the perfect long weekend getaway — though we’d happily stay for a full week or just pop in for a weekend. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to meet Paul, but Tracey was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. The location is ideal, with plenty of space and shade. While the amenities may not look like much at first, the hot water, strong water pressure, and flushing toilets were a very welcome surprise. With the hills, the pub was a little further than we expected — but we’ll plan for that next time. Smudge the goat and the sheep were quite entertaining to watch! Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back.

We had a great time at Bares Hideaway. The owners were so kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. Even though it was a long weekend- our site felt quiet and peaceful. Amenities well maintained. Our kids had a blast exploring the creek bed and feeding the animals. Would definitely stay again- thanks Paul and Tracey!

EPIC weekend, nice and private, was busy but had heaps of space. Facilities are exceptionally well maintained, clean and the showers were fantastic. The daily drive around to offer firewood was a really really nice touch. Local pub - the Grandchester - is good too, only a 1 min drive or 10-15 walk with kids, dog friendly too. Go on the first weekend of the month and you can wander down to the steam railway too, was about $10 for 1 x adult & 3 kids to sit on the back of a mini steam train. Heaps of fun. A fabulous spot, and only 1 hour from Brisbane. Very well equipped with a number of showers, flushing toilets and portable fire pits.

This was perfect, even for a regular random weekend away. It was beautiful to be a part of Mount Maroon (or Wahlmoorum - Sand Goanna) in Yuggera Country. I came here to see a meteor shower that was peaking and it was beautiful. Waking up to see the mountain was stunning! The host was lovely and communicative, and I would love to return one day. PLEASE NOTE:- There are 3 camp areas at Buddai Camp, Gumtree - has 2 separate sites. Creekbend - has 1 individual site. Old Stump - has 1 individual site, but suitable for larger groups. ~ Gumtree - site 1 and site 2. ~ Creekbend - site 1. ~ Old Stump - site 1. Gumtree has a little flat area on top of creek bank and the rest is more uneven and sloped ground. More suitable for tents, swags, rooftops and small vans. Creekbend is all flat and more suitable for bigger vehicles. Old Stump is slighlty sloped and uneven but has some flat areas. Away from the other 2 camp area but suitable for large groups. Quiet camp area on Creek bank. A short walk down the bank to shallow to mid depth running water, perfect to sit and chill out in, or watch the kids splash around. Plenty of shade down by the creek. It can be a steep or slippery walk down to the creek, depending on the weather and if the creek has recently risen or flooded. Easily accessible by 2WD as long as its not too wet. Suitable for tents, caravans, RVs etc Dogs allowed but must be supervised at all times and chained/locked up at night or if being a nuisance. All campers must be fully self sufficient. NO TOILETS NO ELECTRICITY NO WATER Camp fires permitted but subject to local fire bans/restrictions. BYO firewood. Firewood also available for purchase from neighbours just up the road. This is a working farm, so we are not always hanging out at the house, and often out in the paddock, So as a courtesy can you please give an estimated arrival time so we can meet you at the house and then take you down and show you the campsite.

Our campground is on my family’s dairy farm that has been in the family since 1904. I’m the 4th generation on the farm and work alongside my parents and my husband operating the family business of milking cows. The campsite is on a private area of flat ground right beside the Oxley River with views of Mt Warning. We are excited to share our piece of paradise with others. We DO have a composting toilet but DON’T have any shower facilities. Although the creek is very close by we advise you bring your own drinking water. Bindarah Downs offers easy access to our 4 acres and 3 levels of open and shaded, creek frontage. Only 15 mins from Rathdowney, close to Maroon Dam and several National Parks. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. We are a short 1 hr drive from Brisbane and Toowoomba surrounded by acres of bushland. We are a 10 minute drive from Rosewood and Laidley where you will find cafes, supermarkets, fuel and a variety of other things to enjoy. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy No smoking is allowed on the property, vaping is fine at your own campsite. No glass Policy, bring cans or leave your wine bottle in your caravan or tent/car. Bring plastic glasses to drink out off. We do have a lot of rule, they are in place to give you a Beautiful environment to Camp in and To look after our Animals and farm. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. Take a stroll through the olive grove and set up a picnic amongst the trees! Olive View Estate is a stunning 35 acre 700 tree working olive farm and guest stay accommodation. We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views. Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more. We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or function (Christmas etc) just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm. We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim. The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. Stonesthrow

Stonesthrow is a rural property in the Illinbah valley, nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, with council approval for limited camping (4WD only - leave no trace). So if you want to escape the crowds at public campgrounds, your privacy and enjoyment are assured! We are NOT a 4WD adventure park so vehicles must be parked up at your site on arrival and left there unless leaving the property to go to town/tourist activities. Any exploration of the property or travel to toilets is strictly on foot only- NO 4WD'ing. Anyone driving around the property will be asked to leave. We have sites both near the creek and facilities and up on the plateau. Our elevated/remote sites require capable 4WD's with off-road/AT tyres and campers need to be fully self-sufficient including having their own sealed chemical camping toilet and an ensuite/privacy tent. If you don't have your own commercial chemical camping toilet then you will be given a choice of sites with access to facilities. We reserve the right to view/verify your toilet before allowing you access to the elevated/remote sites. Caravans are restricted on where they can access- with no guarantee of sufficient sunlight for solar. Elevated/remote sites cannot be reached with a caravan- please bear this in mind if booking with a caravan. Well behaved dogs are welcome as long as they are on a lead when moving about the property. Please let us know if you wish to bring a dog and you will be allocated an appropriate site as some areas of the property are designated 'dog-free' camping zones. The common area (old shearing shed) has composting toilets, communal fridge, microwave, jug, drinking water, sink for washing up and table/chairs. There is 500 m of (shallow) creek frontage, kms of walking/riding trails and grassy creek flats for recreational activities. Over the decades, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses. There is also a variety of fruit trees and plantation timber. Please note that arrival must be in daylight hours with sufficient time for orientation, travel to your site and set up before dark. Adventure Park Scenic Rim

*CRITICAL* We do have a vehicle fee per vehicle with every booking as we have limited usage on Tamrookum Creek road per day and pay a levy per vehicle. The vehicle fee is listed under extras. $10 per day while on the land, so when camping for one night it is $20 two nights $30.
