We have 100 acres of paradise with many sites to choose from, either along our 300m of Burnett river frontage or along the winding Duingal creek tucked into seclusion. For the bigger vans we have sites up on top of the property overlooking the Burnett with just a short walk down to the water. There are NO Ammenities available so own toilet is a MUST! Bring your fishing rods, kayaks and walking shoes. There's some great fishing here including barramundi, perch, yellow belly mullet, gar - and plenty of catfish to keep the kids entertained! Don’t have a kayak, no worries. We also have kayaks available for hire. We also have the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets here, with beautiful birdlife including hawks and water eagles. Great for bird watching and photography! All campsites have access to the water unless we are advised per booking. Less than 5km down the road you will find Wallaville where there is a great local Wallaville pub, and a corner store that offers great pizza. Telstra is available for communication, and we are also only 18km from Gin Gin and around 50km from Bundaberg. Campfires permitted in the designated areas only, bring your own fire pit when possible as we have a limited number of fire pits available. when fire restrictions/bans are not in place. Plenty of fallen timber around the place to collect for firewood. I suggest U bring wood for the ist night, In case it has rained & saves the hassle first up allowing U to chill out sooner 🥂 Well behaved pets welcome, but they must be kept under control and you must pick up after them. Bundaberg has attractions such as the Bundy Rum Distillery, Ginger Beer Factory, a free zoo, Mon Repos Turtle Centre, lower Great Barrier Reef cruises to Lady Musgrave Island for snorkelling, great beaches some with 4WD access. Gin Gin is on the main highway to head north or south. Easy access from here to National Parks for walks and 4WDing. Being a hobby farm we have livestock in a paddock in the backyard. If you would like to join us for feeding in the afternoons please ask on arrival. Feeding happens between 4 and 6pm depending on time of year. We also have chickens that free range around the campsite at the front of the property who will happily take any of your scraps.

Purchased in 1988 as a block of Bush, the majority of clearing was initially done with a small Massey Ferguson Te20 a long length of chain a shovel and chainsaw.Built originally with nothing more than the chainsaw, shovel, hammer and nails the log cabin that I still live in has undergone a few changes over the years but we have tried to keep it looking the same on the outside made mostly from large hardwood posts and paperbark slabs and half rounds for walls concrete floor with sunken lounge room. We are 20 minutes from the quaint Childers Township and 50 minutes from Bundaberg. The property is totally private and caravans cannot been seen from the road, the owners live on the property and only booked guests are to enter the property offering security and peace of mind. Whether you want to bird watch, kayak, fish (catch and release only), hike or ride one of the many trails or sit, relax and read your favourite book, we promise a warm welcome; from the wildlife and the proprietors Tracie and Jimmy. Dam Crazy is also pet friendly, dogs must be cleaned up after and may be walked off leash on the walking trails (please be mindful of other campers, farm animals and wildlife), they may also swim in the dam but must be contained or kept on leash in the campsite areas. The dam is very deep and could have snags washed down in floods, so we suggest children wear life jackets, and MUST be supervised by adults at all times around the water. You'll be sitting amongst the Australian bush with a white sandy river only a hop, jump and skip away. We have a beautiful hobby farm on 2 and a half acres. Camping is at the front of the property where you will find vegie gardens and fruit trees. There is also a fire pit (plenty of firewood available), a trampoline and a games shed with toilet, shower and kitchenette facilities. Yes we live on the property and the campsite is in the front yard, however we do not infringe on your space at your campsite or the amenities area - these are yours and yours only whilst camping here. We do not double book our sites, it is strictly 1 group at a time. Pets are welcome for a small fee of $5 per pet per booking. Bundaberg has attractions such as the Bundy Rum Distillery, Ginger Beer Factory, a free zoo, Mon Repos Turtle Centre, lower Great Barrier Reef cruises to Lady Musgrave Island for snorkelling, great beaches some with 4WD access. Gin Gin is on the main highway to head north or south. Easy access from here to National Parks for walks and 4WDing. Being a hobby farm we have livestock in a paddock in the backyard. If you would like to join us for feeding in the afternoons please ask on arrival. Feeding happens between 4 and 6pm depending on time of year. We also have chickens that free range around the campsite at the front of the property who will happily take any of your scraps.

Purchased in 1988 as a block of Bush, the majority of clearing was initially done with a small Massey Ferguson Te20 a long length of chain a shovel and chainsaw.Built originally with nothing more than the chainsaw, shovel, hammer and nails the log cabin that I still live in has undergone a few changes over the years but we have tried to keep it looking the same on the outside made mostly from large hardwood posts and paperbark slabs and half rounds for walls concrete floor with sunken lounge room. The hand built rock chimney is the feature piece of the front of the cabin so be sure to check it out and get a few pics.

The camping was great, right by the river. Potable water was roughly 100m away from all sites. The site was well maintained and Greg is very helpful and easy to communicate with. My boy really enjoyed fishing, he caught many fish. Some issues we found were that the noise is loud (from the cars on the old m1 highway) and at summer the midgies and mosquitoes are everywhere (so we recommend you bring missive spray) overall this campsite was really nice to stay at, and we enjoyed our time there. So we recommend it to anyone who’s staying there for a night or two.

Weekend Trip to Mon Repos Pines

An excellent spot to spend a few days, Mon Repos Pines is perfectly placed to explore the area. The 4 sites are all situated along the southern fence line of a large field adjacent to the owners’ property, very quiet and just a few steps from the walk/cycle track which follows the coastline from Burnett Heads in the north to just beyond Bargara in the south. The beach close by is virtually covered by black rocks but there is a sandy strip which can be used to access the water when the tide is low (high tide covers this strip). The 4 sites are spaced out next to each other but there is not a lot of room in between each site so when they are all occupied everyone could be quite close. They only take up a small length of the fence line so it would be great if there could be more space between sites, but maybe the council does not allow this. Site 1 is nearest the pathway but is not quite as level as the other sites. We would certainly recommend this camp site to other travellers.

What a beautiful spot, right by Beelbi creek where we caught a couple of fish and a really good feed of mud crabs. 🦀 Well maintained property with picnic tables and fire pits. We even spotted a couple of fire flys. 🔥 The hosts were more than accommodating and very prompt with communications. Keep well sprayed with the bushmen's ( with deet) and you'll have no problems with sandflies or mozzies. Mosquitoes 🦟 I'll definitely be back only 3 1/2 hours from Brisbane left at 6:00am was set up by 10:30am

Great little spot, nice flat ground for pitching a tent, quiet and peaceful. The hosts were great, very accommodating and absolute life savers when we realised our car had a flat battery. The man cave with a fully functional kitchenette and the bathroom were very handy to have especially with a baby in a heatwave/storm. We would recommend to anyone staying in the area :)

We loved our stay here. We had two caravans (15' and 21') and easily accessed a beautiful spot Jennifer picked out for us. It was right on the river with easy access to the water and a fire pit. It was very relaxing here. There were other campers in the property, but they were out of sight. We hired a kayak and a canoe and had a great time fishing and relaxing. It's a really lovely spot.

Great spot, fantastic dam for swimming and a paddle with free kayak use. Love the jetty and boat shed! Beautiful grassed campground but be prepared to do some leveling if you are in a caravan on some sites. Can't comment on toilet's as we are self contained so didn't use those facilities.

Such a gorgeous spot!! We had an incredible time camping at site 2, plenty of space from other campers! The toilets were flush toilets, with running handwashing water and soap, very clean! Our dog had the best time watching all the activity, going for leash free walkies on the hiking trail and having nice big swims in the dam! We also had fun with the complimentary kayaks! Owner is super nice and welcoming! This will definitely be our family camping spot from now on!

Great location and only a short drive to the beach. The camp itself is pretty simple but it’s what we expected when we booked. I would say to avoid this site if you have a low clearance 2WD as we struggled a little bit to get out with our campervan. Overall we would stay again purely for the location 😊
