Olive View Estate is a stunning 35 acre 700 tree working olive farm and guest stay accommodation. We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views.
Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples.
This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy.
We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more.
We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or function (Christmas etc) just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm.
We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim.
The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges.
Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers.
At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use.
Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them.
We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need.

Figtree Farm has an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, save for the occasional serenade of our friendly neighbourhood donkeys and the odd rooster.
If you wish to wander further afield, Kyogle is a 30 minute drive away. And there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall.

Property: A 695-acre council registered tourist back-to-basic bush camping and 4WD park located in the picturesque Scenic Rim region just over an hour drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Perfect for 4WD enthusiasts, bushwalkers, mountain bikers, and anyone that just wants to get back to nature.

Our sites are completely isolated from town, with views and not visible from the road. Sites are set among nearly 100 acres of a mix of open land and rainforest. Multiple natural springs exist on the property and a few small spring-fed waterholes are scattered down the cascading hills. Friendly ducks, geese, fish, horses and an abundance of native wildlife live here. This location is home to several endangered species due to being one of the last isolated pockets of rainforest in the area.
Sites are part of The Bush Clinic where we specialise in designing and making natural creams, soaps, teas, dodorants and other products as well as running regular Meditation courses and topics such as Energy, Frequency, Grounding and Advanced Organic Growth techniques for those wanting to join in are formally available during your stay.
We are new to HipCamp so have limited facilities at present, but they are in progress and we have loads of space per site, comfortable, and lots to offer for those wanting to reconnect with Nature. If you know what ley-lines are - this is the right place to visit ;-)
PS if you are towing a van or camper pls remember to engage 4wd at the front gravel gate (low range 2nd is best). This helps avoid chewing the road up...

She loves pats, runs and a brush. She is super gentle.
Sometimes the horses are at nearby agistment so, ask if the horses cam be here for your visit.

There are a couple of small playgrounds, clean double flushing toilets, picnic tables, gas bbq and chairs for your convenience and a nice above ground pool to stay cool in.
We have firewood for sale, and I make a barrista coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself.
Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow while your staying here.
The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary.
Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids.
We also offer day visits for $5 per person.
Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay.
Wivenhoe Dam (photo of big water mass) , Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all close by. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas)

CURRENTLY CLOSED. We are a small 107 acre farm on the Great Dividing Range, a 10 minute drive from Toowoomba. Hopetoun Hills is a tranquil place to relax with water ducks, kangaroos, wallabies and all sorts of birds including the wedge tail eagles that come back to nest every year! Sadly in the drier months, our dam may not be full and the grass not green!
YOU MUST BE FULLY SELF CONTAINED. You MUST have TOILET (that you take with you when you leave), and SHOWERING facilities. If you do not have these then we are very sorry but we can not accommodate you, and if you do arrive and don't have these facilities we can't allow you to stay. This is a health issue for other campers, ourselves and our stock.
Our property is not suitable for young children due to the creek, dam, electric fencing and stock. We welcome dogs, although they must be kept on a lead and/or contained for the courtesy of other guests, and we have livestock such as cattle, calves, horses, a donkey and a bull who don't take well to strange dogs.
There are a few places you may choose to camp and the spacious room allows privacy if you wish to have early nights/early mornings and not be too close to others.
We don't allow party groups/parties due to the courtesy of other campers and we do ask that you remember; this is a farm not a caravan park, there are cattle and horses.
We can provide potable water for campers staying more than a few days, or travelling on the road. You will require appropriate water jerry cans/drums or we can fill your tanks up directly from the shed.
In the warmer months you can sleep with windows, doors and hatch's open in the tranquil country setting. Your caravan is not visible from the road, or accessible without passing the main residence if you wish to tour around our beautiful town and outlying area's.
We're less than a ten minute drive from Kmart / Coles / Woolworths, although when you're here you would never know! There is so much to see in and around Toowoomba and the Darling Down's, from coffee shops, mural walks, bike paths through the beautiful parks and much more.
We don't accept check in's after dark, so if you are going to be late please contact us with the mobile number provided within 24 hours prior to check in.

Our campsites are on high open grassy country with shady spotted gums along the creek. Access to the campsites is a short distance off the Cunningham Highway gate entry.
Preference is for all vehicle types. Offroad RV length is limited to under 20ft. The type of vehicle and RV will dictate where your campsite would be located.
Pets are welcome (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles) but must stay within the camp sites and be restrained by owners. Please do not free roam your pet on this camp site. All pets must be contained to the camp site either on a leash or in their crates. We are at risk of violating the neighbours property should your pets be unresponsive to your voice commands.
We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping amenities. These are off grid camp grounds with a picnic table, braziers and camp bin available for communal use.
Firewood of various types can be found along the creek with the option to purchase firewood from our stock.

The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges.
Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers.
At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use.
Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them.

Our sites are completely isolated from town, with views and not visible from the road. Sites are set among nearly 100 acres of a mix of open land and rainforest. Multiple natural springs exist on the property and a few small spring-fed waterholes are scattered down the cascading hills. This location is home to several endangered species due to being one of the last isolated pockets of rainforest in the area.

Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow while your staying here.
The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary.
Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids.
We also offer day visits for $5 per person.
Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay.
Wivenhoe Dam (photo of big water mass) , Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all close by. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas)

If you do not have these then we are very sorry but we can not accommodate you, and if you do arrive and don't have these facilities we can't allow you to stay. This is a health issue for other campers, ourselves and our stock.
Our property is not suitable for young children due to the creek, dam, electric fencing and stock. We welcome dogs, although they must be kept on a lead and/or contained for the courtesy of other guests, and we have livestock such as cattle, calves, horses, a donkey and a bull who don't take well to strange dogs.
There are a few places you may choose to camp and the spacious room allows privacy if you wish to have early nights/early mornings and not be too close to others.
We don't allow party groups/parties due to the courtesy of other campers and we do ask that you remember; this is a farm not a caravan park, there are cattle and horses.
We can provide potable water for campers staying more than a few days, or travelling on the road. You will require appropriate water jerry cans/drums or we can fill your tanks up directly from the shed.
In the warmer months you can sleep with windows, doors and hatch's open in the tranquil country setting. Your caravan is not visible from the road, or accessible without passing the main residence if you wish to tour around our beautiful town and outlying area's.
We're less than a ten minute drive from Kmart / Coles / Woolworths, although when you're here you would never know! There is so much to see in and around Toowoomba and the Darling Down's, from coffee shops, mural walks, bike paths through the beautiful parks and much more.
We don't accept check in's after dark, so if you are going to be late please contact us with the mobile number provided within 24 hours prior to check in.

Welcome to those who enjoy a place away from the bright city lights to stay with animals and children. We have a safe clean environment with secure fences surrounding the camp sites.
We also have facilities for children to learn about farm animals. All our animals including horses, cattle, chooks, guineas and dogs can be approached and touched without harm to children. The geese are a little skittish about this. :)
Our property is a stroll away from Aratula in the Scenic Rim. The hidden creek on our property is home to a host of native wildlife and fauna. An occasional koala can be seen high up in the trees.
* We have a rural residential property with access to untamed native Australian bush which is close to everything special in the Scenic Rim of Queensland.
* Our property is accessible from the Cunningham highway opposite the BP service Station. Preferable for 4 x 4 vehicles in the wet. During the dry season any vehicle can gain access.
* Children will enjoy the benefits of camping and the close encounters with farm animals. The Camel Farm, Alpaca farms and For Real Milk dairy are all found in the Scenic Rim area and allow for visitors. Please find details on the Internet prior to your booking and confirm places.

Our campsites are on high open grassy country with shady spotted gums along the creek. Access to the campsites is a short distance off the Cunningham Highway gate entry.
Preference is for all vehicle types. Offroad RV length is limited to under 20ft. The type of vehicle and RV will dictate where your campsite would be located.
Pets are welcome (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles) but must stay within the camp sites and be restrained by owners. Please do not free roam your pet on this camp site. All pets must be contained to the camp site either on a leash or in their crates. We are at risk of violating the neighbours property should your pets be unresponsive to your voice commands.
We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping amenities. These are off grid camp grounds with a picnic table, braziers and camp bin available for communal use.
Firewood of various types can be found along the creek with the option to purchase firewood from our stock.

Great location to explore Brisbane and Gold Coast theme parks. We tripped into Brisbane twice and it was so easy with the translink nearby.
Grass is overgrown and could be mowed especially the entrance way.
The turn into the driveway is a bit tight off the road as you come in but we managed it with our 22ft van.
A great quiet spot with lots of space and reasonably priced for larger families in the area.

We loved our stay. The views are stunning, the location is super quiet and the hosts are lovely. The paddock has plenty of space and has flat ground. We also bought some delicious Crispy Pickles.

We love staying at Olive View Estate Scenic Rim. The wide open spaces, rolling hills and mountain views are spectacular.
Waking up to the sounds of birds and insects as the sun rises from behind the mountains of the Gold Coast Hinterland is so beautiful.
The sun setting over the Main Range mountains of the Scenic Rim lights up the sky with the most beautiful golden hues.
When the stars come out, the constellations are clearly visible due to the lack of light polution.
Olive View Estate is our favourite glamping destination. We always head home feeling refreshed and revitalised.

We loved spending our first weekend in our new caravan at Olive View. Beautiful views, nice grassy areas to set up camp. Lindsay and Kate communicated well and checked in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. It was lovely to see the kangaroos resting in the shade of the olive trees. The little shop in the old bus was very cute. We will definitely return someday.
