Check in is after 1pm and check out is strictly before 10.30am, we promise you will get your 'Heilen Coo' fix 😝 We have Souvineers and firewood please bring cash 😍 Be mindful around all animals as they get to know you, be smart please. Kids can bring bikes, must be supervised at all times, no screaming or running. Pets are welcome, we have 2 dogs Jesse and Cane, who are both very friendly. Our Maremma is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog, he does bark a little at night to protect our pets, which goes hand in hand with all of our other farm noises 😉 Our Neighbours have fish farms, you may hear the odd gun go off, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. It's totally safe. Feel free to put on some music and have a few drinks by the campfire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed, so we do not accommodate noisy parties. Easily accessible property with flat areas for camping and or caravans. Front of block is well grassed with some shade. You walk down through some dry rainforest towards the back of the block which fronts onto Coonarr Creek. There is a small fire pit and also a large one which can be used when it’s the right conditions I.e not too windy and or dry. There is a toilet, shower and camp kitchen if necessary. The block is located very close to the boat ramp where you can launch canoes, kayaks,sup’s and small tinnies. The block is also a 5 minute drive to beautiful Coonarr Beach, which is suitable for swimming and fishing. Coonarr Creek is also suitable for fishing either off the bank or from a craft. Kangaroos are some of the resident wildlife and are often seen around the property and adjacent areas. Located approximately 20 minutes from Bundaberg city and all other attractions in the area. Recommended to bring personal insect repellent and or coils etc.

We had a wonderful stay with Sarah, a beautiful spot next to the river. Plenty of grassed area to put up the camper trailer. Close to local attractions made day trips easy. The toilet and hot shower was definitely an added bonus. Our only comment is that we where not allowed to use our grass mat. Great place to stay and we will be back. Thanks Sarah

This is an absolute gem of a campground. The host - Sarah - is so helpful and friendly. The campground itself is beautiful. Lots of gorgeous grass and plenty of space. It is so tranquil next to the river. The toilets and shower were immaculate with really cute little signs. Butlic the frog made me giggle every time I went to the loo! IYKYK. I managed some beautiful runs around the area too, if you’re into that sort of thing! I would highly recommend this as a base camp to explore the Bundaberg region.

Really great camp spot! The showers and toilets were very well maintained and super clean! The camp spot was so great and Sarah was very accomodating with letting us choose our own spot to camp. Keep in mind the cicadas can be super loud in the morning and evenings on the unpowered spots at the river. Great spot to chill, have a fish and a beer! We highly recommend this hipcamp spot. Thanks so much guys.

There was plenty of room to have several campers and lots of space in between sites. I arrived after dark, was able to find a relatively level spot and remain hooked up (drive through). I was only there for an overnight stay during a long-haul trip I cannot really speak to a more long-term stay — it was nice and quiet and I felt safe as a single female traveller.
