Our sites are completely isolated from town, with views and not visible from the road. Sites are set among nearly 100 acres of a mix of open land and rainforest. Multiple natural springs exist on the property and a few small spring-fed waterholes are scattered down the cascading hills. Friendly ducks, geese, fish, horses and an abundance of native wildlife live here. This location is home to several endangered species due to being one of the last isolated pockets of rainforest in the area.
Sites are part of The Bush Clinic where we specialise in designing and making natural creams, soaps, teas, dodorants and other products as well as running regular Meditation courses and topics such as Energy, Frequency, Grounding and Advanced Organic Growth techniques for those wanting to join in are formally available during your stay.
We are new to HipCamp so have limited facilities at present, but they are in progress and we have loads of space per site, comfortable, and lots to offer for those wanting to reconnect with Nature. If you know what ley-lines are - this is the right place to visit ;-)

Stonesthrow is a 106 acre rural property in the peaceful Illinbah Valley. Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses, goats and some friendly donkeys who love to meet new people for some pats and a carrot!
The Stonesthrow Bush Camping sites are close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property. These sites have access to facilities - toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Some sites offer 2WD access yet still facilitate the experience of camping in the bush. THESE ARE THE ONLY SITES THAT CARAVANS CAN ACCESS.
The Stonesthrow Elevated sites are located higher up, with stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by capable 4WD and require you to bring your own sealed, chemical camping toilet and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites.
Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers. Please note, the availability of certain sites is weather-dependent.
We are not a 4WD adventure park. Vehicles must be left at your campsite and NOT used to explore the property. Exploration of the property is welcome by foot or bicycle: 1.2 km from bottom to top.
Due to insurance considerations, no 'day visitors' are allowed unless they have an approved Hipcamp booking.
We are a Leave No Trace campground - ensure what you bring in, leaves with you.

The rainforest Treehouse is situated in a rainforest pocket of the Mount Warning Caldera, completely surrounded by lush and vibrant nature and sheltered from the outside world, while being just 2 minutes away from us and the comfy road that will take you to an amazing swimming hole, cafés and the nearby town.
Once you enter the Treehouse private drive you will feel yourself being transported into a magical world of gently flowing water, natural light, tall trees, chirping birds, rustling leaves, crickets, and frogs.
You will notice the energy shift into the safe embrace of our land, protected by Springbrook Mountain.
The location of the Treehouse was chosen by our then young children. We all fell in love with the magnificent camphor laurel tree growing at the edge of the seasonal creek.
We all found ourselves drawn to that place, so with the help of our friends and our children we began the project of manifesting a dream into a reality - the dream of living in the tree canopy.
As we worked on the Treehouse, the design was constantly changing. The whole family, especially our youngest son, contributed to the manifestation of the dream. During that time we overcame many obstacles and found solutions to build in the tree. It was an adventure, a lot of fun and we learnt a lot.
It became a dwelling for our kids for a period of time, until they grew up and left to conquer the big wide world.
Now it is here for you to enjoy, to reconnect with your dreams, to dive deep into your childhood playful memories where the world of fantasy and reality merge together.
Here you can just be yourself, embraced by nature and view at the world from your Treehouse verandah.

She has found the perfect spot for you so you can immerse yourself in nature in the shade of lovely trees, taking flight with the eagles above Springbrook Mountain, lifting up and rejoicing life. The vibrant tantric red colour of the cabin will fill you up with new energy and freshness. it is supplied with clean, luxurious linen and towels. The daring bathroom allows you to bask in a bubble bath while enjoying your favourite beverage watching the stars. That beautiful experience will be enhance by the symphony of the surrounding nature.

We had such a wonderful stay at Sarabah Creek Camping. We spent two nights on Site 3, and it was the perfect spot—private, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The creek was absolutely stunning and made for a relaxing weekend, and the whole property was incredibly well maintained.
Everything was clean, quiet, and exactly what we were hoping for. It was the perfect escape, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend Sarabah Creek Camping to anyone looking for a peaceful camping experience in a beautiful setting.

We had a great time at Sarah’s farm, we stayed at mango site. sites are well marked and easy to get to with fire pits and plenty of wood available, our hosts made us feel welcome showed my boys and I around their property as well sharing the fruit from their orchards. My boys especially loved spending time with their 2 dogs which was the highlight of their trip.

Love staying here next to the river....
Place is clean,you can get firewood on site for camp fires under the stars with the beautiful view of MacKenzies Mountain.
It's close enough to town to get supplies.
The host is really friendly...
Hare Krsna Farm next door means you can visit the temple and attend the programs of morning Aartis and festivals with singing and dancing.

The sites are lovely overlooking the river. Access to it was via a canoe ramp but the pontoon was missing. Friendly hosts and well grassed and mowed sites. Not too Squizzy either

We stayed at two of the elevated campsites, one of them surrounded by scenic bush, very private and lots of space. The other with incredible, breath taking 180 views of rolling hills and mountains, a perfect view of the sunset, and horses! Steve and Richard were beyond welcoming and hospitable which made the stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back!

Stonesthrow is easily one of the best camping spots I’ve stayed at around Brisbane. The campsites are huge, private, and spread out enough that you don’t feel like you’re on top of other campers. The views are incredible, especially if you stay on one of the elevated sites, and the creek is perfect for cooling off during the day.
The hosts are genuinely welcoming and go out of their way to make sure everyone has a great stay. The property is beautifully maintained, and having the friendly farm animals wandering around adds to the experience.
Whether you’re after a quiet weekend away, camping with mates, or bringing the family, this place has something for everyone. It’s peaceful, scenic, and close enough to Brisbane that it’s an easy weekend escape. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
