Bidda Bridge Country Stay — Off-Grid Camping on a Working Horse Farm Escape to a quiet corner of the Scenic Rim. Bidda Bridge Country Stay offers private, self-contained camping across our family's working horse farm in Biddaddaba, with wide-open paddocks, a creek, and an old bridge to explore—plus nothing but birdsong by day and stars by night. This is proper switch-off country. Set up your site, light a fire, and let the pace slow right down. Whether you're after a peaceful couples' weekend, a solo reset, or a spot to park the van and breathe, there's plenty of room to spread out and truly relax. What you'll love: • Private, spacious sites with open-sky views of the Scenic Rim ranges. • Fire pits at each site, with free firewood available to gather on the property. • A creek, an old bridge to explore, and bushwalking trails. • A genuine working horse farm setting — a rare and peaceful experience. • Dog-friendly (dogs must be kept on a leash, as we have horses and local wildlife). • Golden mornings, glowing evenings, and some of the best stargazing around. Good to know: • Sites are for self-contained campers only — please bring a fully self-sufficient setup. There are no toilets, showers, or power on-site. • Cashless and easy — book online, and we'll meet you at the gate on arrival to show you to your site. Just over an hour from the Gold Coast and Brisbane, but a world away. We're a small, family-run property, and we can't wait to welcome you. Come and enjoy the quiet—we think you'll want to come back.

The Nook – Private Creekside Camp

100%
(1)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 4 · Vehicles under 12 m
Our most private site. Tucked away right on the creek, and the only spot on this side of the water. Book midweek and you'll have this whole side to yourself; on weekends there's just one neighbouring site up on the hill by the race track, and even then The Nook keeps its privacy down by the creek. Surrounded by trees and set right on the water with creek access, it's a cosy, sheltered spot, and the best on the property for catching the sunset over the paddocks, with the racehorses and cattle grazing next door. Fire pit, self-contained only (no power, toilets or showers), dog friendly on leash. Private, cosy and creekside.

Pony Paddock – Creekside Camp

Booked 2 times
RV/tent site · Sleeps 4 · Vehicles under 8 m
Our cosiest creekside site. Smaller and more intimate than the rest, tucked across the water from Riverbank Picnic and right beside the pony paddock. The flat, level camping area measures approx. 12.5m wide × 10m (from the driveway to the fence line), a private little spot right on the creek. Just above sits a small grassy rise where the paddock begins, you're welcome to pull up a chair there and take in the outlook (please keep vehicles and setups to the flat below). We don't always have a pony in the paddock next door, but when we do they're lovely company, feel free to pat, but please don't feed. Fire pit, self-contained only (no power, toilets or showers), dog friendly on leash. Cosy, creekside and best for smaller setups.
