We have 6 toilets a Hot shower, our water is filtered, but not suitable for drinking, we advise you bring your own drinking water but we do also sell drinking water, insect repellent and mash mellows. Camp fires. **Weather permitting** NO BYO, But we do supply. $25 1st day (includes: fire pit, fire wood, fire starter and matches) $20 each day after everything included, All guests must take their waste with them on departure, we do have 10c recycling, There are many places that you can visit if you feel like a short drive within 15- 60 min such as Breweries, Wineries, Beaches, Markets, Rock pools and the old famous Mary Rattler Steam Train. There is also many quite and beautiful small towns to visit, or just sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee and the peace and quite. North Gympie, 17min to Mary Valley Rattler train station, 32min to Mothar Mountain Rock Pools, 35min to Tin Can Bay, 50min to Rainbow Beach, 60min to the Sunshine Coast. Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and have your own spot along side the beautiful running creek and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of nature. Quiet dogs are allowed, must be on leashes at all times and can not roam freely, pet waste must be picked up and taken off site when vacating.

Camping is in the orchard, away from tall eucalypts and their falling branches. There are two unfenced swimming dams, so children must be supervised around them. Basic kayaks are available. There is a large fire pit with wood supplied for campfires, an outdoor kitchen area for food preparation, and a washing-up area. The wood-fired pizza oven may be used under supervision. You can play tennis, relax on the outdoor stage, and listen to the birds. We have flushing toilets and an open outdoor shower by the dams. We are on Butchulla Country, also known as the Fraser Coast, east of the Bruce Highway. The nearest shop is a 20-minute drive. We recently moved to Gundiah Qld and acquired a beautiful piece of land (approx. 320 acres) with about 70 acres of picturesque camping located on the Mary River. Our property is located halfway between Gympie and Maryborough (approx. 20 minutes from the Bruce Highway) tucked away down a private road which is lovely and peaceful. We have some walking trails located on the Camp Grounds to take in the scenery, or for the more adventurous located behind the office are longer walking trails with spectacular views at the top. There is a bike track and playground with Mini Putt Putt to keep the kids amused! Currently an RC track in the making for the remote 4WD enthusiasts. Easy access to the Mary River if you would like a spot of fishing, swimming or kayaking. Keep your eye out for the platypus and Mary River Turtles. We also have fire pits available at most sites with plenty of free firewood to collect around the property. Your fury friends are more than welcome but for the safety of them and others must be on a lead at all times. We are located about 50 minutes from Gympie, an hour 15 minutes from Rainbow Beach and or Hervey Bay and 45 minutes from Maryborough. The town of Tiaro is only 15 minutes down the road which has a Foodworks, Pub, United Fuel and Cafe. Don't forget the local Gundy Pub is only 5 minutes down the road. Great atmosphere and meals "tell them we sent you". Gundy Getaway is the perfect place to get back to basics and enjoy the peace and serenity.

You will also find a shopping centre with Woolworths in this area and other specialty shops (post office and retail). For the adventurous campers who use swags/tents, we suggest a stretcher and a gazebo with walls for a little comfort. Some areas need 4wd also. Check in is after 1pm and check out is strictly before 10.30am, we promise you will get your 'Heilen Coo' fix 😝 We have Souvineers and firewood please bring cash 😍 Be mindful around all animals as they get to know you, be smart please. Kids can bring bikes, must be supervised at all times, no screaming or running. Pets are welcome, we have 2 dogs Jesse and Cane, who are both very friendly. Our Maremma is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog, he does bark a little at night to protect our pets, which goes hand in hand with all of our other farm noises 😉 Our Neighbours have fish farms, you may hear the odd gun go off, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. It's totally safe. Feel free to put on some music and have a few drinks by the campfire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed, so we do not accommodate noisy parties. Relax and unwind with a book or go for a bush walk and listen to the kookaburras. Watch Sea Eagles, pelican, wild budgies, rainbow lorikeet and more. All your cares will feel like they are a million miles away as you soak up nature, we guarantee you will have an amazing experience. 6 Kms in at our historic Childers there is a Woolworths, IGA, great pubs for lunch, cafes and bakeries, plus a swimming pool, museum, snakes down under and Woodgate beach 25 mins away.

Unfortunately Hipcamp Insurance no longer covers horse riding, so no riding on the grounds unless you are a member of another pony club, Equestrian Australia or have your own private insurance. Heaps of rides just out the gate though through forestry tracks. (turn left out of the grounds, then left again onto Priddy Rd, cross Tin Can Bay Rd and ride for miles into the forestry) Ask any questions , we are fellow horse people afterall :)

Enjoy a convenient and relaxing base to discover the best of Hervey Bay at our 150-acre cattle grazing farm located just 3km outside of town, with plenty of space for campers. To access the farm, turn right off the Maryborough Highway into Chapel Rd, then turn right at the picnic table beside the bikeway, and do not drive over the cattle grid. The entrance is right beside the grid with reflectors on each post. If you're having trouble finding the entrance, please call Ray at 0459247041 or Judy at 0459247042. We offer numerous camping sites on cleared land lined by trees, near to our gully and seasonal creek. Each site is private and offers plenty of space. Campers must be self-contained with their own camp toilet, but there is a 24/7 dump station just 2km away. A stone's throw from the campsites is access to the mobility corridor/bike path, which takes you straight into Hervey Bay and continues all the way past the shops to Urangan pier, offering 15km of ocean frontage to explore. Our farm is located about 2.5km from both hospitals (private and government) for any care that you may need. All specialists and consulting facilities are very convenient. Next door to the campsites is our fantastic local cafe, The Depot Espresso Bar, open at 6 in the morning. They're happy to take orders for our campers from 5:30 if you knock! It's perfect for hopping on your bike from camp, grabbing your morning caffeine fix, and continuing on the day's biking adventure. Campfires are permitted, but please BYO firepit, and there is plenty of fallen timber you are welcome to collect and split yourself. Pets are welcome too! Kids under 5 stay free and don't need to be included in the booking group count. Check-in is welcome after 9 am and you can depart anytime.

The creek offers fishing, crabbing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, boating and swimming. Well suited for overnight travelers passing between Maryborough and Bundaberg, or others needing a few days rest, fishing or water activities. Sandflies are a problem in this region anywhere near water, in the mornings until about 9am and in the evenings after about 3:30pm, so bring plenty of repellent and apply early and often. Sites are 30-40 metres apart with a maximum of 8 vehicles and their occupants in the whole property. No overcrowding! Looking for a special breakfast or brunch? Try Goody’s on the Beach, a 3-minute drive away at Toogoom for great waterside dining or Arkarra Gardens, 10 minutes away for a tropical rainforest dining experience. We were the only ones there this week im guessing because as it was raining on and off. It was great. The grounds were prefect even with all the rain. All the facilities are made well. Personally I hate a drop toilet but it was really clean and not smelly at all. The hosts are really great too. Very friendly and helpful. We were arriving. In the dark and Janita actually made a short video for us to show us exactly where to go once we got there. Amazing communication. We will definitely be back.

The crew and I absolutely loved camping here! Warren was the warmest and most hospitable hipcamp host ever! He gave a tour around the property, showing the tennis courts, basketball courts, golf, table tennis, swimming & kayaking lake.. plus more! We had so much fun celebrating a birthday whilst jumping between all the activities. He then helped us prepare beautiful wood fired pizzas, as well as setting up an aux system so we could play our tunes and have a dance all night long. We all had the best time and will definitely be back again.. thank you so much Warren for your generosity and warmth. Could not recommend this property enough!!!

The moment we reached the front gate, we could see the beautifully maintained grounds and knew this would be a great stay. Warren and Frank met us at the gate with big friendly smiles and became extremely accommodating hosts. They took us to our site which was huge and private. We were joined by our daughter’s family the next day and the 4 kids had a ball despite the somewhat inclement weather. They became explorers and cow whisperers! Having access to dams for swimming and the use of provided kayaks and paddle boards was fabulous. Bonus: onsite toilets and shower! We would thoroughly recommend this property now and especially with the future developments Warren is planning. Thanks guys. We’ll be back soon.

It was a very relaxing week at Dingo Ridge, the site is very well maintained, spacious and quiet. Had a great view of the dams and really enjoyed watching the sun set over the hillside. Darren was a great host, very helpful at getting me set up and stopping in occasionally for a quick chat or to drop off fresh bananas. Would definitely recommend Dingo Ridge if your up near Gympie.

Camping at Sublime was great! My family and I were the only campers for 4 days. The brewery was closed when we arrived on Monday so we checked in on Wednesday when the brewery opened. The campsite is beautiful, you set up camp in between the fruit trees and can see all the stars at night. Sublime is just off the main road so it was easy to find and a really good middle spot for a home base if you wanted to drive to Rainbow Beach, Gympie, or even Harvey Bay for a day trip.

Will definitely add it to the return list and recommend to friends. Water access at boat ramp was dissappointing though. Too many snags for fishing and not very young child friendly for any water play. But the slip and slide helped the kids get over their disappointment pretty fast!

It was awesome at Hidden Camp Farm! Two of my children and I go camping for 5 days every 8 weeks, so we have stayed a LOT of places, and Hidden Camp Farm is certainly one of the best. My son and I are keen birdwatchers, and saw our fair share, and my daughter (who is studying Wildlife and Ecology), absolutely adored having all the horses/donkeys/miniature horses/camels come visiting for pats and any food you were willing to part with! We were near the dam, and the duck gang moved in under our camp table on the second day, they knew where the best food was (don't worry, we only fed them appropriate duck food - no bread!). And Marvin the horse and Cadbury the donkey thought nothing of checking out our food supplies coming into the gazebo when they felt like it! The property is BEAUTIFUL, and there are so many campsites in different areas - down near the dam we saw a lot of animals, but on the many walks exploring away from the dam, there were areas where there seems to be less animals around, so I imagine they would be more suitable if you aren't animal enthusiasts like us. Callan is awesome, has great communication, and, considering he has only just purchased the farm, has done amazingly well. The camp kitchen has a fridge and freezer (very helpful when one of your eskies dies of old age!), and water is available and is drinkable, so no buying water to bring with you. We will definitely return, and soon. Thank you for having us stay, keep up the good work!

We chose a campsite near the dam with no close campers giving us privacy while within a short walking distance to the facilities. Facilities while currently basic were enough to support our needs, not crowded and maintained. We enjoyed a quiet relaxed environment, able to interact with friendly camels, donkeys, horses, ponies, ducks and geese. We loved exploring Hidden Camp, finding our way around easily with the additional support of Aurora, she was an excellent guide. Plenty of firewood available to collect, we enjoyed a nightly fire, it would have been good to bring along more foods to cook in a campfire. Thank you Callan, you were approachable and informative. We hope to visit again and will encourage friends to visit your unique location. Dean, Nancy and Korah (PS: remember to bring healthy snacks for the animals, it is fun to feed the animals)

Just 30 minutes from Hervey Bay and right off the highway, this spot is such a gem. With farm animals, a magical fairy garden, bikes, a playground, and beautiful bushland surrounds, it’s perfect for a relaxing stopover. The best part? The most delightful hosts who are constantly adding thoughtful touches — and it’s not even a year old yet! 🙌 There’s a shower & toilet, water refill, and a handy camp kitchen, making it an easy and comfortable stay. Being relatively close to the highway (not that you’d know it when here as it’s all bush land!), you can hear some noise, but it’s not super loud. We stayed on site 5 which was large enjoy for multiple families and close to everything!

What a spot! Waking up to beautiful sunrises and friendly animals, finishing the day with perfect sunsets and a night sky full of stars. A well set up camp kitchen, hot camp shower and toilets! Kids spent the days exploring with their new furry mates, roaming on their bikes or pedal buggy’s (that are provided) and arvos collecting firewood! Loved being able to have the tunes on and a fire going. There were others there camping but the sites are so generous and spaced out. So much to explore, cool tracks to drive or walk. The animals were all so friendly, and very good with the kids! Hosts were lovely and super helpful!
