Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. Pets are welcome with prior approval, but they must follow property rules. Swimming is allowed only during daylight hours, and caution is advised due to natural creek conditions. Jumping or diving is prohibited.
For the safety of all guests, property access is strictly for booked individuals, and non-paying visitors are not permitted. We encourage exploration on foot, as all areas are easily accessible. Please do not drive your vehicle around the property.
As there are no on-site toilets, kindly bring your own camp toilet and ensure proper waste removal. You will find a free dump point at Eumundi RV stop over on Napier road or in Kenilworth at the Showgrounds.

Directions into our Property-
Once you have turned into Uhlmanns road; the bitumen will turn to a dirt road. Look on your left - we are the second driveway on the left. it is gravel and dirt and goes up a small hill to the farm gates which will be open.
Once you have gone past the gate, the neighbours house is to your left along the fence line. Keep driving down the driveway; you will see an avenue of Camphor Laurel trees.
Camp site 1 is to the right of the trees on the flats of the front paddock. You will also see a fire pit.
We are now a working hobby farm and have animals free ranging on the property. If you wish to bring a pet, please ensure they are bird/ animal/ dog friendly.

The sites are level pastured camping areas with lovely trees providing good shade alongside the river. We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched.
The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks.
You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. There is plenty of wildlife to see, especially for bird watchers: kingfishers, parrots and birds of prey as well as platypus, air breathing lungfish and Mary River turtles.
Access is 4WD or AWD only.
In severe weather the Mary River can flood. Be prepared to leave in extreme weather.

IMPORTANT please note, we do NOT have amenities or drinking water. You need to be self sufficient and bring your own shower/toilet, and take with you ALL waste.
The road to the campsite currently is only grass, when dry it is 2WD accessible, but 4WD is best.

Travel down the gravel road for about half 900m and pop out through a tree tunnel to a secluded 2 acre cleared grass paddock where the toilet & sites 1-3 are situated. Site 4 is on top of a small hill separate to the main camping area. Site 5 is in its own cleared paddock, looking out to bush.
Site 1 is in shade in winter and partial sun in summer.

Go fishing at Baroon Pocket Dam and have a swim at Obi Obi Creek or Kondalilla Falls or Gardeners Falls. If you're after some saltwater it's a 30 min drive to most beaches on the coast.

Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. Once you have turned into Uhlmanns road; the bitumen will turn to a dirt road. Look on your left - we are the second driveway on the left. it is gravel and dirt and goes up a small hill to the farm gates which will be open.
Once you have gone past the gate, the neighbours house is to your left along the fence line. Keep driving down the driveway; you will see an avenue of Camphor Laurel trees.
Camp site 1 is to the right of the trees on the flats of the front paddock. You will also see a fire pit.
We are now a working hobby farm and have animals free ranging on the property. If you wish to bring a pet, please ensure they are bird/ animal/ dog friendly.

The sites are level pastured camping areas with lovely trees providing good shade alongside the river. We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched.
The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks.
You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. There is plenty of wildlife to see, especially for bird watchers: kingfishers, parrots and birds of prey as well as platypus, air breathing lungfish and Mary River turtles.

Formally a banana & pineapple plantation, Hunchy Hills is strictly 4WD only access property. There is a toilet and gas hot shower included. If you have a camper trailer it needs to be off-road/high clearance and you need to be experienced in towing off road. No caravans or Hybrids sorry, too steep and tight.
Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit and log seat.
Site 4 is perched on the side of the hill and 6M by 6M in size. Suitable for vehicle based campers/swags/small tents with a sense of adventure and best with max 2 people. We have a backup spot if access is too difficult.
Pets (on leash) are welcome, please ensure you pick up after them.
Kids (15 and under) are free and are not counted in the maximum number of guests.
Firewood is sold at the check-in via an honesty box. $20 per bag (22kgs approx.)
Travel down the gravel road for about half 900m and pop out through a tree tunnel to a secluded 2 acre cleared grass paddock where the toilet & sites 1-3 are situated. Site 4 is on top of a small hill separate to the main camping area. Site 5 is in its own cleared paddock, looking out to bush.
Site 1 is in shade in winter and partial sun in summer.
Site 2 is in shade in the morning and afternoon sun all seasons.
Site 3 is in morning sun and shade in the afternoon all seasons.
Site 4 is in morning sun and shade in the afternoon all seasons.
Site 5 is in shade in the morning and afternoon sun all seasons.
ACCESS INFO SITES 1-3 & 5: STANDARD 4WD or walk in.
ACCESS INFO SITE 4: LOW RANGE, VERY STEEP, EXPERIENCED 4WDERS WITH MIN AT TYRES. NO CAMPER TRAILERS.

We are located 3 minutes from Montville and 7 min to Palmwoods.
There's plenty to explore in the area with short drives to the many attractions including National Parks, Glass House Mountains, the famous Rick's Garage Diner, wineries, micro breweries and more.
Go fishing at Baroon Pocket Dam and have a swim at Obi Obi Creek or Kondalilla Falls or Gardeners Falls. If you're after some saltwater it's a 30 min drive to most beaches on the coast.

Great camping spot for those with dogs that want a space where they won’t run into any other dogs. Plenty of space to sniff and explore. Pack boots for your walks. The host was very welcoming and went above and beyond to help us get our van get into the site. Lots of lovely plants to look at and the night is soooo quiet, you’ll get a completely rested sleep.

Noosa river camping is a great place to stay. A quick drive from Brisbane has you by the Noosa river. The drive in through the bush in is a great start to relaxation, the site itself is very peaceful. Take your rods and crab pots. Highly recommend all mozzie precautions as is a paperbark wetland area, beautiful and serene. Lots of bird life for the twitchers.

Maya Nature park is a really nice place to camp, open spaces as well as tree canopies and a damn to camp by with roaming cattle that wander by and give you a nod as well as great bird life. Lucas is a very welcoming host and the facilities are always impeccable with something new being added to the environment each time we visit. Its a favourite of ours.

Wow, what an incredible spot. The place is a credit to Ryan & his partner for how well it’s looked after.
Grass is beautiful & mowed neatly. We were there after heavy rain & had no dramas. Plenty of rain through the night.
Had a short stroll near the creek, pleasant even if too shallow for a dip.
Did the walking track up past site 5, stretched the calves 🤣 the rain had made it pretty slippery up there.
We stayed in site 2, in the shade for morning. Every site has a firepit in it & if you’ve forgotten your chair there’s log bench!
Don’t need to be self contained as there is a rustic toilet & shower too.
Although we brought our firewood I believe it’s available from them.
Almost don’t want to recommend so we can keep this place a secret!!!

We found Katrina attended to our enquires thoughtfully. We loved having the area to ourselves. It's a great spot to camp for couples. We intend visiting again and our family has responded very positively to our photos and comments about the camp area. I think they will camp there some time as well.
