Wonderful, peaceful Easter weekend
Our family Easter camping trip was just beautiful & we loved how peaceful the farm was. Thankyou to Dave & fam for making us feel so welcome & helping us settle in, from guiding us down in our 4WD; giving us a tour on the buggy; pointing out some special birds (Tawny Frog Mouths), delivering fire wood & fresh eggs to our little private spot at the bottom.

Dave’s spot is great. We did a weekend out of Brisbane with mates. Dave took us around and showed the kids the cows, told us where to find the wildlife, was just a lovely bloke. Great spot. Peaceful, well maintained. Would definitely go back.

Lovely property and campsites and toilet facilities were a big bonus. Unfortunately we couldn't access the bush sites with our little van, but were able to stay up on a plateau in view of the house. Even so, we didn't feel uncomfortable and the views from this spot were beautiful. As mentioned by the host the track definitely does get a little slippery in the wet, and as mentioned in nearly every other review, Dave is indeed a top bloke!

Lovely private camping site. Thank you Dave for being an awesome host! We were well looked after and showed us through around the campsite. The area was spacious and we loved waking up in the morning with the sound of birds chirping. Thank you Dave! Highly recommend this place. 💫

Camping with Cows
Private and quiet - all campsites are well dispersed so other campers were rarely seen or heard. The farm cows were curious but never a bother. Dave is a fantastic host who goes over and beyond the norm to make sure you are welcome and looked after. He also provides a good pile of wood for fires - be sure to take up that option.

Super relaxing nature escape
Such a beautiful property. Dave is an awesome host. Gave us a farm tour in his buggy. Hubby had success fishing for bass in one of the dams from the kayak provided. Sites are well spaced apart so lovely and private. Definitely need a 4wd for access but Dave is great about talking you through that. Looking forward to coming back.

Incredibly private and secluded. Only background noise were the birds and the cattle, so relaxing! Dave was an incredible host and the facilities/sites were well maintained and spaced out. Would camp here every weekend if possible!

last minute weekend away
Dave greeted us on arrival and gave us a quick tour of the farm. There are several campsites dotted around, all a little different, and surrounded by plenty of birds and wildlife. The dam is stocked with bass and perch, so we fished and kayaked more than once. My favourite area was down the creek - we didn't see any platypus but I'm told they are there. It's really pretty countryside and a great spot to just chill in the hinterland.

Excellent Spot
Beautiful property and lovely host! Felt so remote amd quiet, yet super close to Cooroy. Campground was near flowing water and no mosquitos to speak of! Had a lovely walk through the rainforest, saw lots of wildlife. Dave took us for a tour of the property and to meet his cows (my daughter loved it)! We will definitely be back. Next time to use the dams for the kayaks.

You wouldn’t guess!
Dave’s property is beautiful! You are well secluded from the house on the property and feel immersed in the bush, you wouldn’t guess you are not far from local towns or even the beach. A nice big flat grassy area to camp on (we were on site 1) with lots of shade around as well. Dave and Lisa were incredibly accommodating and friendly hosts as well, even introducing us to some of their cows!

Dave's Farm was set amongst 150 acres of beautiful rainforest complete with dams and vista. The bottom camp sites would be suited for 4 WD particularly during rain. A great host and the best eggs ever.
