Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. We are a 90acre private property who raise cattle and goats and have opened up to campers who, like us, prefer and love peace and nature. We have all of our sites on Booking request ( Reserve). Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety. We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups. Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush, so you may feel like you are the only ones there. Campfires in the provided fire pit or drum only. Due to the unique surroundings we offer, we do require you to be extra vigilant with fire safety. You are most welcome to use your own off the ground firepit anywhere in your site. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. We have an abundance of native wildlife and it’s a good idea to bring mozzie/insect repellent. We do have plenty of firewood available although if it’s been raining it will be best to BYO wood. Great spot at Site 2 a stones throw from Kennilworh but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. If is hot, a five minute walk down to the Mary river for a dip. Shane was welcoming and helpful. Plenty to do in and around Kenilworth, hiking 4WDing, swimming holes and don't forget 2 try the "coffee donut" in town.

Such a beautiful location with fantastic views! The horses just added that extra farm stay touch and made you feel like such a part of nature. We were unlucky enough to get caught in some big storms but the property was so well maintained it didnt affect us at all and no issues getting the caravan in and out. It was very windy though so don't make the same mistake we did by putting the awning out if the weather isn't 100%! Overall very private and relaxing location and only 10 minutes out from Dayborough. Will definitely be back.

Despite the wild weather that forced us to pack up and go home a little earlier than planned, we thoroughly enjoyed everything about River Run! Sites are generous and well spaced, the grounds are very well maintained and river access is exceptional - with a couple of very easy tracks that lead down to the water. Firewood is also handy, available via honesty box, and there’s a great undercover lounge area overlooking the river which is a very nice touch! Rick and Jena are diligent and helpful hosts, thanks for providing the detailed info on finding the property, your friendliness and all of your suggestions for where we should explore next! We were very impressed with everything about our experience at this property and will absolutely be back!

Glass house mountains are a 20-25min drive for some great hikes and if you make it to the top some worthy photos. Brisbane is 45min drive with no traffic. Bribie island is a 22min drive with lots of great cafes and flat walks available. IMPORTANT: The Ranch is on the corner of beachmere and Wallace road. Access is off Wallace road. After you turn onto Wallace road it’s the first right at the yellow letterbox. Pull through and down to the left. Through the gate next to the container out into the back paddock. Please keep this gate shut. There is a designated area for Hip-Camp straight and to the right near the fire pit and bucket. If you have animals please clean up after them and dogs are to be on lead if they do not recall or like to chase wildlife. The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes. Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums. The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience. A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals. Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

We have firewood for sale, and I make a great expresso coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself. Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow, for sale or Make a donation and buy it... The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary. Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids. We also offer day visits for $5 per person. Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay. Wivenhoe Dam, Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all closeby. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas) Hope to see you soon at the farm. THERE IS NOWHERE TO PARK VEHICLES THAT CAN NOT REACH THE SITES. Please take the track descriptions seriously. We're not embellishing just to discourage inexperienced 4WDers. These are NO JOKE. Gumtree Summit and The Gun Range are up a steep and rocky track that requires technical driving skills and a very capable vehicle. These sites are very difficult to access! In wet weather, you will need to spend a bit of time winching. You need to know what you are doing. When booking, ensure you read each site description thoroughly before requesting a booking. Fuzzy miniature galloway cattle freely roam the property here. If you are not camping at the Summit sites, where they don't tend to go, you may see us driving around in our Jeep, giving them lots of treats and cuddles. Other than that, our hope is that you don't see anyone but the local wildlife.

Being only 20 minutes to the sunshine coast airport it’s a great opportunity to park up your big or small touring rig to head interstate at short notice if required. This amazing property has views of mt Coolum and mt Nindery with some of the best sunrise and sunsets around. With easy access to the property we can also cater for larger caravans and big groups of people. Being on the river there is option for fishing and crabbing, we are only a few hundred meter walk to the Yandina Creek Wetlands walking trails. Camp Fires are allowed on site. (unless fire bans are in place ) fire wood available 20kg = $20 (cash only sorry due to a few nonpayers) Pets are welcome but we must respect our Neighbours with horses and other campers so must be friendly retrained at all times.
