You can see views of the mountains in the distance, and we get some cracking sunsets.
The block is on a slight slope, so levelling likely required.
Power can be provided if required, and there is a tap nearby with town water to hook up to.
We're an easy going family of 6 (4 kids), you might see us around playing outside before we head in for the evening.

Please keep in mind that this Hipcamp is a 'Farm Stay', on a working property which is also our big back yard. Your privacy is assured, however, if you're looking for total seclusion, this may not be the Hipcamp property for you.
A grassy flat tent site is tucked away shaded by trees. Powered Caravan site is also grassy and flat with a large area for kids to play. If you choose to set up in the open away from the trees the house will be in sight (45m away), but we live a quiet life and respect your privacy. The property is on the Brisbane River, the site offers river glimpses however there is no river access.
Suitable for tents, campers trailers, caravans and RV's. We are close to the CBD so the site is a great option for a 'shake down' for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield.
You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves.
Supermarket, bottle shop, takeaways, cafe and pharmacy less that 4 km away.

Great to swim in/ try your luck with a fishing rod, but NO JUMPING from the pontoon as water levels vary and submerged debris/ trees etc. (common sense swimming in dam and water sources.)
The pontoon is perfect for evening sunsets (or a sneaky proposal, which has happened a few times already!)
** Please be very conscious of deciding to camp with children in close proximity to an open water source. Safety is our highest priority.
The campsite is bordered by seasonal crops.
We also have Cattle that rotate through different paddocks on the property, depending on feed and crop cycles. (Not all guests will have cattle about sorry kiddies!)
**Pets welcome, but to remain under STRICT supervision. Not to chase cattle or wildlife. **
Our property is also home to the local remote controlled airplane club.
Guests will be able to see and hear them buzzing around of a weekend. You can watch from the campsite but we ask not to walk through the paddocks or approach the club.
During weekday stays (and some weekends) you will have the pleasure to see fighter aircraft, KC-30s and the impressive C17 Globe masters doing some low flying and pass overs as we are just on the edge of the Amberley RAAF Base circuit area.

Located just off Steve Irwin Way and approximately 4 kms from Exit 163 on the Bruce Highway.
Leave your van and go for a drive, just 15 minutes to Australia Zoo and 25 minutes to Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast or take a drive up the hill to Maleny, Montville and Flaxton where there is always plenty to do and lots of shops to explore.
If you are in need of a few essentials, we are also handy to Coles, Bunnings, Chemist Warehouse and a Bottle shop. They are all within a 5-minute drive south on the Bruce Highway.
Bring your chair and enjoy our firepit whilst taking in the view. Firewood is available.
For the safety of all guests, property access is strictly for booked individuals, and non-paying visitors are not permitted.

We have firewood for sale, and I make a barrista coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself.
Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow while your staying here.
The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary.
Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids.
We also offer day visits for $5 per person.
Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay.
Wivenhoe Dam (photo of big water mass) , Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all close by. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas)

A grassy flat tent site is tucked away shaded by trees. Powered Caravan site is also grassy and flat with a large area for kids to play. If you choose to set up in the open away from the trees the house will be in sight (45m away), but we live a quiet life and respect your privacy. The property is on the Brisbane River, the site offers river glimpses however there is no river access.
Suitable for tents, campers trailers, caravans and RV's. We are close to the CBD so the site is a great option for a 'shake down' for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield.
You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves.

Great to swim in/ try your luck with a fishing rod, but NO JUMPING from the pontoon as water levels vary and submerged debris/ trees etc. (common sense swimming in dam and water sources.)
The pontoon is perfect for evening sunsets (or a sneaky proposal, which has happened a few times already!)
** Please be very conscious of deciding to camp with children in close proximity to an open water source. Safety is our highest priority.
The campsite is bordered by seasonal crops.
We also have Cattle that rotate through different paddocks on the property, depending on feed and crop cycles. (Not all guests will have cattle about sorry kiddies!)

Our property is also home to the local remote controlled airplane club.

Leave your van and go for a drive, just 15 minutes to Australia Zoo and 25 minutes to Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast or take a drive up the hill to Maleny, Montville and Flaxton where there is always plenty to do and lots of shops to explore.
If you are in need of a few essentials, we are also handy to Coles, Bunnings, Chemist Warehouse and a Bottle shop. They are all within a 5-minute drive south on the Bruce Highway.
Bring your chair and enjoy our firepit whilst taking in the view. Firewood is available.

The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary.
Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids.
We also offer day visits for $5 per person.
Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay.
Wivenhoe Dam (photo of big water mass) , Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all close by. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas)

Welcome to The Grove!We are located one hour from Brisbane, one hour from the Gold Coast and 10 minutes from Beaudesert.Come camp in our secluded grove of trees over looking our beautiful lake with stunning views of Mt Tamborine. We only have one site available so campers will have plenty of space and privacy during their stay.We are a Redclaw crayfish farm and have sheep, cows, and donkeys in the paddock near the campsite. Relax around your campfire in the evenings and enjoy some excellent star gazing. We have drinking water available and Redclaw, firewood, and ice for purchase. You are welcome to swim or kayak in our lake. Campers must have their own camping toilet and take all waste with them on departure. Sorry, no pets.

We had a wonderful stay at Middle Paddock at Private Mountain View Retreat, which we chose for our “van shakedown” trip.
From the outset, Ben was welcoming and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The property itself was beautiful, peaceful, and tranquil considering its location in the northern suburbs of Brisbane.
The location was perfect for our needs, with convenient access to Narangba, Brisbane City, Chermside Shopping Centre, and Eatons Hill Hotel, which was only a short 10-minute Uber ride away.
For anyone needing to stay close to Brisbane while enjoying a quiet retreat, we would absolutely stay here again.

Comfortable cabin nestled among trees and horses. Great for families, campfire friendly, and we opted in for a horse activity, my daughter loved being able to ride a horse. Lovely hosts, great communication. Beechmere beach is just a 5 minute drive away.

Absolutely loved my stay even though just overnight but was greeted upon arrival and very friendly and helpful! Stunning setting with pristine surrounds and good facilities. Sunrise on the Lake with the supplied canoes was a highlight. Definitely will be back and my Doggo loved it also! 😍.
A little surprise of a possum in a box was fantastic in the showers! Super cute 🥰

Very conveniently located, quiet and green. Great to see someone with a huge 2 acre back yard putting it to good use. I was the only one there (but there were lots of caravans using the space for storage, which is great to see). I will go back for sure. Craig, the host was very friendly and helpful. His black lab dog Zeus, liked my little Cavoodle. There was 15amp and 10amp power there for my campervan, and also a tap to top up my water tank. No toilet or shower facilities, but that was fine as I knew in advance and used my own onboard bathroom. Thanks Craig, well priced, and in a pretty suburb full of acreages and lovely houses.
