We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need.

We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. The host was friendly and helpful, offering plenty of great suggestions for exploring the surrounding area. There was some road noise at times, though it didn’t impact our overall enjoyment.

This place is not far from Brisbane and it is honestly one of the BEST spots I’ve ever stayed at! It was SUPER, SUPER, SUPER good and so incredibly comfortable. I felt relaxed the whole time. The host, Guy, was beyond friendly and welcoming – he made the whole experience even better. The views are beautiful, the toilets and showers are very clean, and there’s plenty of shade which makes it so comfortable to stay, even during the day. There are also so many different animals around, which makes it really fun and special to explore the area. Because it’s so close to Brisbane, I won’t just go back once — I’ll definitely go back ten more times!!! Highly, highly recommend this place! 🌿🏕️✨

Libby is an excellent, very responsive host, who provided me with a much needed map of the area and other information, and also reached out when a storm was about to hit.

Mountains in the backdrop crystal clear water in the creek nice to relax sit in the creek and chill on hot day,, and the 4x4 drive in and out its a little bitof fun too! 4rth time camping here and many more to come! The view is spectacular. Absolutely stunning. The campsite is incredible. We’ll set up with shade, fire pit, portaloo and cleared land, enough for plenty of tents, swags or camp trailers. The bath tub was amazing, nice and hot with the best view in the valley. Road in and out was a bit of fun. Easy enough for novice 4x4 drivers but not to be underestimated. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be doing it again.
