Escape to the heart of Queensland’s Scenic Rim and experience bush camping at its finest. Baytina is a peaceful 120 acre cattle grazing property nestled among rolling hills and wide-open skies offering a back-to-basics getaway where nature takes centre stage. Wake up to birdsong, breathe in fresh country air, and spend your days exploring the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Whether you’re pitching a tent, rolling in with a camper trailer, or setting up a swag under the stars, you’ll find plenty of space to relax and unwind in your own slice of the bush. Baytina is a place to slow down and reconnect. Wander through bush tracks, spot local wildlife like kangaroos and wallabies, or simply sit by the campfire as the sun sets behind the ranges. At night, the sky comes alive with stars—far from city lights, it’s the perfect setting for stargazing and storytelling around the fire and roasting marshmallows. Baytina is a SELF-SUFFICIENT off the grid property. The property offers a rustic, off-grid camping experience with basic access tracks and open sites suitable for self-sufficient campers. Bring your own drinking water, toilet/shower, firewood, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Conveniently located within the Scenic Rim region, you’re just a short drive from national parks, walking trails, and charming country towns—yet far enough away to feel completely immersed in the country. Perfect for couples, families, small groups and your four-legged companions looking to unplug, recharge, and experience the raw beauty of the Scenic Rim. Access: Entry is through the rear of the property off Greys Plains Road. There is a large 'Baytina' sign on the gate. Please ensure you close all gates. The property is accessible by 2WD, however, in wet weather 4WD is recommended. Fires: We have fire pits at all camps. Please be mindful of fire conditions. Please bring an extinguisher and own fire wood. Please do not cut down any trees for fire, use only fallen or already cut trees. Other: We suggest you wear enclosed shoes when roaming the property. All children must be supervised at the dams by an adult. Watch for stumps in grass if driving outside of designated tracks.

Site 1: Back Gully

Back Gully is one of our favourite spaces, a flat large grassy space under some lovely shady trees. Enjoying your own fire pit you will enjoy quality time lazing about this campsite. This campsite is suitable for larger bookings and will fit around 3-4 groups

Site 3: Gully Dam

Gully dam is a fairly flat grassy space closest to the bank of our back dam. Guests will enjoy this tranquil campsite with plenty of space to move about. Suitable for 2-3 families or groups

Site 5: Ironbark Camp

Ironbark camp is located at the bottom of the gully under a beautiful big Ironbark Tree. This site has a fire pit and plenty of room to move. Suitable for 2-4 small groups.

Site 6: Fig Tree Dam

Situated in the centre of our property is this campsite between two lovely dams. Relax under the fig tree and wander up the gully towards the dams for a swim. This site is suitable for 2 small groups
