Great place to come and enjoy nature whilst still close to local shops, beaches and cafes. As the name suggests, the property is on a hill in Glenview Sunshine Coast, we have some flat areas perfect for camping or caravan set-ups with some spectacular views out over the Sunshine Coast and local bush land which you may see some local kangaroos or spot the local black cockatoos, and stunning views of the stars on clear nights. Dog and children friendly. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. No toilets or potable water available - please bring your own. Warrego Warmblood Stud is an operational horse training property set on a secluded 60 acres just outside Woodford. There is a lovely private dam to camp beside or in amongst some beautiful trees with no one in ear shot, or you can camp in the empty paddock. Or Book a Horseback Forest Trail Ride . Campfires are permitted within local regulations. The campsites are dog friendly (on a lead). There are no amenities here,  campers must BYO camping toilet. Allowed small fires and some timber available in the paddocks. Woodford is a little taste of country right on the city’s doorstep. An easy day trip from Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast, this quaint and quiet town is a perfect getaway destination with a little something for everyone. The Woodford region is steeped in history and retains much of its yesteryear charm. The historic pub still stands proudly on the main road through town, while quaint turn-of-the-century buildings house quirky shops and eateries.

Only an hour north west from Brisbane, just over half an hour north from Ipswich. We now have toilets. A semi self contained caravan is coming soon, hopefully ready by the Christmas holidays. We purchased our block as a rural escape. It's 25 acres of koala protected bush. Camping is on grassy areas amongst the trees, this is basic bush camping suited to fully self sufficient campers. Our block is completely off grid, there is no power or water. Listen to the birds, including the beautiful whip birds Look for koalas and other wildlife: quails, ducks, birds, kangaroos, deer (our property is koala protected bush. Wildlife must not be disturbed). Under a minute drive to local creek and swimming hole. A few minutes drive to Wivenhoe dam recreation area. 15-minute drive to Fernvale for supplies (and one of the famous pies from the bakery). 20 minute drive to Somerset Dam for all your water sport fun. Stop at a swimming hole or lookout on your way up to scenic Mt Glorious. We are About a 15 minute drive from Northbrook Gorge, a popular local hike. Tucked away on a small hobby farm backing directly onto Sheep Station Conservation Park, this is a peaceful, down-to-earth spot for guests who enjoy nature just as it is. You’ll be sharing the property with a handful of characterful residents — four sheep, a friendly alpaca, three silky chickens, two cheeky geese, and a very elderly Muscovy duck — plus our three young boys, who bring plenty of life and laughter to the place. This is a simple, relaxed farm stay with a rustic feel — a little scruffy around the edges and refreshingly free of bells and whistles. What a fantastic spot to camp, the playground for the kids was fantastic and kept them entertained for hours. The grounds we well kept and each site was quite private so you felt like you had heaps of room. It was a very short drive to swimming holes or the lake which was great to cool off. Certainly a 10/10 from us and the kids are already asking when we are going back so I’ll definitely be booking it in again!!

Pete and Andrea are lovely and very helpful. The location is central for visiting Beerwah/Maleny/Caloundra. I stayed one night to rest up. Price was perfect. More road noise than I expected for being surrounded by the bush. But a great stay all the same.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Danielle. The play area was a real hit with the kids, and the quiet and spacious camp was exactly what we needed. The real stand though, was Danielle's hospitality. Fate took us over Mt Glorious on the way there and our rig was definitely not ready for it. Danielle made sure that my girls and I were safe and comfortable while dad went back to rescue our van. Ill be forever grateful for her help and, for the great conversation that followed into the night! We will definitely put it on our list to visit again, but a tip - beware of the mountain pass!

We all loved staying at Glen’s beautiful property on the banks of the Mary River. The grounds were immaculate and there were lovely trees for shade or open areas for the pups to run around on. We appreciated Glen keeping us uptodate with everything we needed to know, he is an absolutely wonderful host. Will definitely be back and we highly recommend this awesome place.

Camp in a beautiful setting, camp fire, with and option of a refreshing dip in the creek. It's private and far better than those established camp grounds closer to Kenilworth. Glen is a top bloke and very accommodating. The skies are amazingly dark and well suited for astrophotography. Highly recommend!

Caravanning on Glen's land was so enjoyable. There hadn't been much rain so the creek wasn't full, bull still flowing, beautiful to look at, and cooling to sit in. The view from bamboozle was lovely. Tranquil and pretty. We had the place to ourselves, except for 1 night, however, I can see even with others, it would still be great. Loved the provided fire pit. And the honesty box for cash for fire wood conveniently chopped, bagged and at the front gate. Will definitely recommend to others who can be self contained and looking for peace! But still family friendly. 👍🏼

Camped at Bamboozle. Nice breeze in warm weather and a good view over the property to the hills beyond. Driving in the presentation is excellent with the appearance like a small to medium ranch. We will come back for sure.

Weekend Trip to Warrego Warmblood Stud

It was our first time camping here and we will be coming back. We were camped far enough away from everyone that we felt really secluded. The friendly horses visiting our camp were a big hit. They were very cheeky and very inquistive. The goanna that went up the tree near us didn't want to stay for a chat. We did have a not so friendly visit of a red bellied black snake making its way through our camp. It soon slithered away not bothering us after it reslised we were there. Good reminder for making sure all of us especially the kids are snake aware and you carry appropriate first aid. All in all it was a fantastic camp with an abundance of creatures great and small for us to watch.

Definitely be going back. Nice secluded camp site at Sandons Dam. Horses were amazing. They got a bit curious with the camp when we went out for a few hours lol. Mozzies come out right at dusk but then disappeared within an hour. Hosts were easy to communicate with. Dom the on site dog is a sweetheart and loves cuddles. There is telstra reception available, so I got to watch the Broncos win the grand final from the camp site! Cheers Robert we will be back.

Really great basic bush camp! Not for those seeking amenities, which is exactly what we like about it. We felt like our group were the only ones there, even though there were a few groups around. The kids basically lived in the playground for 3 days, and loved it so much they are ready to go back. Danielle was a fabulous and friendly host. Thanks for a lovely long weekend away!
