Jess’s place is incredible. Jess is amazing, the place is so well kept, Kayaks for use, heaps fire wood dropped off for $10, lots fruits grown in the orchard and super friendly goats and animals to pat. The place is stunning, quiet and sheltered. Our dogs loved being able to swim, and having some privacy and quiet time was perfect. Will be visiting again!! There aren’t amenities yet, but worth the stop.

The land is beautiful, big open field with lots of places to camp. There is a small like you can fish in or sit out in a kayak and relax. We got lucky and had the whole area to ourselves but if you enjoy being around people and camp when others are there it seems like it’d be a lot of fun and not cramped at all. This property was everything we wanted and more. We spent a very busy week down SE QLD so we were looking for tranquility and that's what we got. The only campers there for our two night stay which is exactly what the doctor ordered. The tree swing was a bonus. The cows were very inquisitive licking our van and solar blanket but very cute to see many calves and plenty of wildlife. Beach was only a 5 min drive and the nearest pub only 15 mins. Wrinkles camp is only one site, so no neighbours, with over 10 acres to access other areas for walking or bird watching. We have horses and cattle and it is a quiet and peaceful spot to kick back and relax. Peaceful van site or can pitch a tent, with toilet, shower, lights and electricity, all under a fully paved shed with seats. Enjoy a great fire pit in front of shed, with hand made log seats. Well behaved dogs allowed on a leash, as we have dogs and other animals on property The single campsite (yes just the one site) overlooks a large dam with jetty. Horses and cattle roam around out the back. Feed the wild birds such as duck, parrots, kookaburras, and more. Jo's road house is just up the road and has all the essentials food wise with great pizzas, and fuel. Next to Jo's is an RACQ centre and mechanics. Purchased in 1988 as a block of Bush, the majority of clearing was initially done with a small Massey Ferguson Te20 a long length of chain a shovel and chainsaw.Built originally with nothing more than the chainsaw, shovel, hammer and nails the log cabin that I still live in has undergone a few changes over the years but we have tried to keep it looking the same on the outside made mostly from large hardwood posts and paperbark slabs and half rounds for walls concrete floor with sunken lounge room. The hand built rock chimney is the feature piece of the front of the cabin so be sure to check it out and get a few pics.

The Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail Incorporated is facilitating the development of the disused rail corridor from Taragoola (near Gladstone, Central Queensland), through the Boyne Valley, on to Monto, Eidsvold, Mundubbera and south through to Gayndah in the Burnett Valley. This property covers those campsites in or adjacent to the Boyne Valley. The corridor is an inland link between Gladstone and Gayndah, which has great natural scenery, wildlife and historical structures with small country towns spread along its length. There are several campsites (shown here on Hipcamps), on former railway sidings along the trail and a range of other accommodation types, some community NFP operated, which we encourage you to support. A former railway siding with the closest access point to the six Dawes Range Tunnels on the rail trail. From the tunnels, there are excellent views across to Kroombit Tops, and historical signage has been installed along the trail. The siding also contains the foundations of a former railway turntable. Kalpowar State Forest Park and campground are located several kilometres to the east, while the township of Kalpowar lies about the same distance in the opposite direction.

On the main road to Agnes Waters, a mere 30 minutes north, is my little slice of paradise. There is a total of 40 acres of bushland here which suffered a huge bushfire a couple of years ago. Now the regrowth is charging up out of the ground and threatening to take over my lifestyle! While I am a new owner of this lovely land and trying to get a start on building a cabin to live in and starting gardens to feed myself, I offer an area to Hipcampers! It is not much, as there is nothing here. I am living off grid and have minimal water catchment, so I cannot offer you any water or power at your site....yet (watch this space). Guests can pitch a tent or park your camper/caravan among the native gums, wattles and grass trees in one of two large drive through sites. At this stage there are no facilities here, so you will need to be fully self sufficient in regards to toilet, water and power. There is a slight slope, so if you have a van, it will need levelling. Camp fires welcome and plenty of undergrowth nearby to forage for wood. Pets are welcome but must remain on the leash at all times. The property is not fenced from the road or neighboring properties. I also have two dogs who can be protective. Please inform me ahead at the time of booking if you are bringing pets. There is a seasonal creek that runs through the property about 100m away. It is a bush trek to get to it (ie: no pathways, yet). And another larger one at the very back end of the property in a gully. Should you wish to get adventurous.

Welcome to Ripple Permaculture Farm! Take your pick from our various camp sites, where you can be parked up amongst it all, or tucked away in complete privacy! We are only 2 minutes off the highway and just a short 5 minutes drive from the small county town of Rosedale, with a general store, post office, hardware store, play ground, community hall, a fantastic cafe, and local pub with great meals! There’s no road noise here, though we do have the occasional train pass by across the road from the front driveway, which you’re pretty unlikely to hear if you choose a private site towards the rear of the 160 acre property! Choose from our various camp sites - you can be close the the central hub of the property, where you can easily fill your water tanks with drinkable (tested) bore water (we recommend boiling or filtering before drinking as you adjust to it), visit the farm animals (daily feedings at 4pm each day) and chat with your hosts if and when you wish; or you can enjoy your privacy further into the property on some huge clear sites amongst the trees (great for large gatherings too!) and explore some of our 160 acres, including our dams, permanent water hole (great for a little turn on the kayaks, provided!) and our shallow creek. We have composting toilets near the main hub, but don’t currently have any other amenities available for the more private sites further in - campers will need to be fully self contained, with their own camping toilet, no digging holes and please leave no trace. Dogs are welcome as long as they are supervised and don’t chase the livestock, and cats must be contained. Campfires are permitted if contained safely or in your own fire pit, when restrictions aren't in place. There’s plenty of free fire wood to gather, or can be made available to purchase for $10/bag. Fresh pasture raised chicken or quail eggs are also available to purchase for $6/dozen. If you have any requests or if there’s anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable, please just let us know!

We have recently brought Golden Hill Farm and we would like to share it with you. We are a 35 minute drive from Bundaberg and a 40 minute drive to Agnes Waters. Pitch your tent, camper trailer, camper van or motor home on our beautiful farm. Once you have set up, sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet as you gaze up at the stars around the campfire. If you go for a night time torch-light wonder you will most likely spot one of our many resident frogs and may even see an owl. With an abundant range of bird life on our farmplease feel free to have a walk around the farm and see what you can spot. Keep your eyes out for our farm animals who graze freely on the farm. We have chickens and pigs as well and are happy for you to have a look if you let us know in advance. Firewood @ $15 per bag and fresh eggs @$6.00 per dozen are available for purchase and my chef /husband is happy to create a tailored dinner and/ or breakfast if we know in advance for an additional cost. (If you would like meals prepared for you, please send us a message in advance so we can have your food organised and prepared for your arrival). Pets: please indicate if you are bringing a pet. There are farm dogs kept at the main property as well as cattle, sheep and goats that roam free on the property. It is your responsibility to ensure any pets are secured at all times and are not to be left at the campsite unattended.

This campsite is located at Captain Creek. 15kms from Agnes water 1770. on 40 acres with a seasonal creek. We have a lovely natural bush setting with privacy. Suited for off grid campers. You will see kangaroos and lots of bird life to watch. Our region is well known for surfing, however Agnes Water and 1770 are also home to calm inlets tailor-made for stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. BYO paddleboard or explore the coastline and waterways by kayak. You can even paddle past Captain Cook’s landing point and on towards the headland to watch the sun set over the ocean (a rare sight on Australia’s East coast). Follow the trail or take your mountain bike along boardwalks and across stepping stones on the 1.5 hr, 3km Red Rock Trail. You can start your adventure at the end of Springs Beach and head south along rocky trails peppered with pandanus palms all the way to the far end of Red Rock Beach. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water and a picnic table for meals. Plenty of space for bushwalking or sit back around camp fire or just read books. There are some great mountain views to be seen while walking around and site seeing, and Eurimbula National Park is close by. For boating and fishing enthusiasts, the beach is just a few mins drive away. We're located close to Agnes Water for all your shopping and supply needs. Pets welcome.
