Purchased in 1988 as a block of Bush, the majority of clearing was initially done with a small Massey Ferguson Te20 a long length of chain a shovel and chainsaw.Built originally with nothing more than the chainsaw, shovel, hammer and nails the log cabin that I still live in has undergone a few changes over the years but we have tried to keep it looking the same on the outside made mostly from large hardwood posts and paperbark slabs and half rounds for walls concrete floor with sunken lounge room. The hand built rock chimney is the feature piece of the front of the cabin so be sure to check it out and get a few pics.

There are 10 large family sized powered sites with a firepit available for each site (no water connection) situated near the dam. Confirming there are no water connections to these sites, please fill your tanks prior to coming, however; fresh water is available for drinking. Select Powered, do not add as an extra.

We are a family built and run property set amongst tropical gardens on 15 acres with a pretty small private lake and swimming pool.
Our communal building has lots of power points, hot showers, flushing toilets, free Wifi, pool table, BBQ and dining areas.
We are PET FRIENDLY, and dogs must remain on leads or runs whilst on the property. Please note that animals are not permitted in any of the undercover common areas or swimming pool enclosure. We are a short 2 minute drive to the new Agnes Central shopping center, 5 minutes to Agnes Water town centre and local beaches, and a 15 minute drive to the beautiful town of 1770.

Purchased in 1988 as a block of Bush, the majority of clearing was initially done with a small Massey Ferguson Te20 a long length of chain a shovel and chainsaw.Built originally with nothing more than the chainsaw, shovel, hammer and nails the log cabin that I still live in has undergone a few changes over the years but we have tried to keep it looking the same on the outside made mostly from large hardwood posts and paperbark slabs and half rounds for walls concrete floor with sunken lounge room. Confirming there are no water connections to these sites, please fill your tanks prior to coming, however; fresh water is available for drinking. Select Powered, do not add as an extra.

We had an amazing time at Jess’s farm! It was my daughter’s birthday, so some of us camped overnight while others joined us for the day to celebrate.
The kids absolutely loved being able to interact freely with the beautiful guinea pigs, ducks, goats, pigs, and chickens. There was also a playground to keep them entertained, along with plenty of activities set up for us to enjoy-tug of war was definitely a favourite!
When they weren’t with the animals, the kids were off kayaking, fishing (hoping to catch a barra for the chance to win three free nights!), or exploring the dam. In the evenings, we gathered around the fire to enjoy a delicious roast dinner and toasted marshmallows, which made it even more special.
Jess was a wonderful host-she generously took the time to show us around her nursery, explaining the plants and their uses in Vietnam. We all found it fascinating and learned so much.
We truly didn’t want to leave and could have stayed much longer! We’ll definitely be back, even if it’s just for day trips before our next extended stay.
Thank you so much, Jess, Andrew, and family-this was an unforgettable birthday celebration and camping trip. We can’t wait to return!

Excellent location wide open area perfect for Big Rigs with lovely view to the lake. Free kayaks to paddle out too. Lots of animals and toys for kids. Higly recommended. Water available if needed.

This camping spot is an absolute gem. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to switch off and unwind. The dam was maintained and ideal for enjoying a paddle on the kayaks or a refreshing swim. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Fire pits and firewood were available upon request. There was also the added option of a Vietnamese cooking class when booing to stay for a small extra fee. If you’re budget conscious and looking for serenity, nature and genuine hospitality, this place delivers it all. Highly recommended.

We took a 22” caravan and a camper truck here. Reasonably flat and power available if you request it in advance. Heaps of fruit trees all around and you are actually encouraged to go and explore. Daryl was very knowledgeable about the things he was growing and happy to share the process that he was going through. Who knew mulberries and bananas were so important!
Toilet and shower available. Pretty bush style toilet but flushing etc. Didn’t use the shower on the property but it looked fine.
Chickens, sheep and cattle to have a look at. Chickens were very friendly. All in all a peaceful getaway. Rained most of the time but that was all good. I would definitely recommend for a few nights away.
