Great farm to stay right on the river with a beautiful view. If you love animals then that’s the place to be. Being able to feed the goats and horses, cuddling the baby puppy’s and there is always a farm dog visiting you at your campsite to say hello. Showers and toilets are very clean and looked after. We came mid week and could enjoy the the whole sore for ourselves. Susan and Bernard are very welcoming people and love a good chat. Definitely can recommend to get some farm eggs 🙌🏼 will stay again if we are in the area.

We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves for most of the stay. Rick & Cheryl’s place is in the perfect spot, river was easy to access and had some rapids which were so much fun, and the space in general was absolutely beautiful and so well laid out. They were very responsive and helpful with any questions I had.

We loved this farm stay. We booked site 1 which had power and it's a great spot right near where you walk down to the river. It was so tranquil. Well manicured. Cute swing set and had fun using the communal bikes. The pit toilets are very clean. We utilised the wood fire pizza oven the first night which was such a hit! The kids loved the farm tour, we got to see bunnies, goats, chickens and cows. Would definitely come back again in the warmer months the river would be awesome to swim in. You feel like you're in the middle of no-where (which you kinda are) but we went into port for the day and it's only half an hour drive. Highly recommend. Thanks so much guys!

3 nights at Ingenia Holidays South West Rocks

Wife , 2 dogs and I recently stayed and found it to be a great place to stay. The park is really well kept and seems to have quite a few employees keeping it as such which was great to see as it showed they were serious about keeping everything in good order. Facilities were excellent and reception staff were friendly and helpful. The actual site we were allocated was firm and level with what I think was astro turf covered concrete. Whatever it was there was no need to level the van which was one less thing we had to do. Happy to say no crime that i was aware of for the 3 nights we were there. Management also allowed the use of our own collapsible fire pit however we didnt use it as the wind was pretty strong when we were there and we thought we would play it safe . All in all we had a pleasant hassle free stay and will certainly stay there again when next we are down that way. Coffee van out the front was awesome too!

Great spot. Great communication with the hosts and very impressed with the clean and well kept toilets. Short well signed stroll to the river and the area was well grassed with lots of room for us and the other campers. Nice drive into Port Macquarie for essentials and we would love to visit again.

Your ideal getaway - limited, private camp sites just a few K's off the Oxley Highway for a quiet overnight stop-over? ...or maybe you'd like to spend a few days chillaxing in a quiet and secure location (we have a locked gate and provide access code). Here you can set up your base camp to safely leave and do day trips to get out and explore the beautiful surrounding area. Only 45 min from Port Macquarie, 30 min to Wauchope and just 10 min to Long Flat where there's a Pub for takeaway, a social drink as well as food and sometimes live music on weekends. The General Store has general supplies, takeaway, PO and fuel. Retaining the peace and tranquillity of our property is important to us and why the number of sites and campers is limited. Although there are designated camping spots we're happy to be flexible if you arrive and would like to relocate within our extensive 'camping area' ...depending on weather conditions and respecting the personal space of other campers. We have livestock (currently horses) running throughout the property - some can be very friendly but please don't approach or feed them. We prefer no dogs but will allow if dogs remain well controlled, tethered or on a leash - this is for the safety of your pet as well as the livestock and wildlife. You will see and hear all kinds of wildlife, particularly morning and evening when they are most active. There are no amenities, rubbish or water facilities so come prepared, take what you brought and leave it as you found it. There is one only port-a-loo with pop-up-tent available for hire if required. You are welcome to take a walk or pushbike and enjoy the peace and nature but please no driving of vehicles or use of motorcycles or quads. PLEASE NOTE: Fire restrictions from September 1st and usually continue during Summer. Fire Permits are not required for fires for the purpose of cooking food, provided that: 1. the fire is in a permanently constructed fireplace. The Hatch Farm is home to many animals, most of whom are rescues - including border collies, cavalier king charles spaniels, chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep, goats, miniature horses, cows, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. There is plenty to do and see around the farm from complete relaxation, interacting with the friendly animals (there is usually a variety of babies to cuddle!), to casting a line or launching your boat from the rustic boat ramp. Stay a few days, visit quaint country towns, lookouts, waterfalls, beaches and so much more. This site looks up to amazing escapements views. (Flat rock lookout) There is only 1 site available at this stage however more will become available soon. Ground can be damp if it’s been raining, we recommend you bring levelling blocks just in case. There is plenty of room to move around. Our Property offers a peaceful, quiet and calm place to relax and unwind. There are fenced in cows on property. Please leave gates how you find them. Some fences are electric. Children are welcome but must be fully supervised at all times. Pets welcome but must be on a lead at all times, photo of pets must be supplied at time of booking. Pets to be kept inside at night. (Please pick up after them) We are a super friendly family of 3 with pets of our own. We are also pretty knowledgeable of the areas and can recommend things to do and places to visit. At certain times there will be fruit grown on the property available for purchase. Please note that there are no food/ drink shops close by (30min away) please bring all supplies with you. We are just 1.5km of single track gravel road to the Pacific Highway with good access for all types of vehicles. There is a choice of private campsites either by the dam or the creek with no other campers in sight! We also have a multi site area at the Woodland Ridgetop with a camp kitchen, compost toilets and showers. This is available to be booked as a large group area or as 3 individual sites. Drinking water (tank water) is available from an outdoor tap at the farmhouse, as long as we have had sufficient rainfall. Please check in advance if you require water. Campers MUST have their own self contained amenities for the Creek Camp, and the 2 Parking Sites, and leave no trace. There is a toilet dump point for chemical toilets in Macksville, 10 mins away. All he sites are dog friendly as long as all dog poo is cleared up. 20 mins to Scotts Head and Grassy Head beaches and Yarrahapinni National Park. State Forest on the doorstep great for mountain bikes, and with motorbike trails heading out to the west. The farm is 5 minutes from the Eungai Buffallo Farm cafe. There is also farm produce available for sale - fresh eggs for breakfast!

If you are into birds you will see plenty here - in the last 12 months we have counted nearly 100 different species on our property!
