Part of a 101-acre property on the North Shore of Port Macquarie very close to the main town and beaches. A 5 acre area is set aside accommodating a maximum of 4 caravans and or motorhomes so that you are well away from other campers. As per the reviews its very peaceful and ideally located close to the town, beaches and other attractions within the general area. As we are located on the North Shore of Port Macquarie, and to access the property you must cross the river using the Settlement Point Ferry The Hibbard Ferry operates (6am - 10am / 2pm-7pm) Mon -Fri and all day on Saturdays and Sundays is only 300 m from the campsite, making it easy to pop into town, explore Port Macquarie’s attractions, or visit the region’s wineries. For longer stays, a discounted ferry pass can be purchased on your behalf. NOTE THERE IS A COST WHEN USING THE FERRY North Shore Beach is a 5-minute drive away, and the local gin distillery is just a 15–20 minute drive up Maria River Road. PLEASE NOTE our immaculate campsites means that no toilet or showers facilities exist ONLY CARAVANS, MOTORHOMES OR CAMPER TRAILERS with a working toilet are permitted on the property SORRY we do not accept tents rooftop or otherwise When booking PLEASE CONFIRM what vehicle you have. FRIENDLY dogs off leash are permitted however owners must ensure that they do not interfere with other campers or their pets. UNFRIENDLY DOGS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND MAY RESULT IN YOU BEEN ASKED TO VACANT THE PROPERTYLocated off Shoreline drive on the Northshore of Port Macquarie this location offers numerous options to set up your campsite over a generous grassed area. The location does not have toilet or powered facilities The property is ideally suited to explore the town on Port Macquarie, Visit Wineries, Gin Distillery or spend the day on the beach a mere 5 minute drive away To arrive at this location you would be required to cross a ferry (Settlement Ferry) The owners are willing to purchase a discounted ferry ticket on behalf of campers at a residential rate should they wish which would cover their vehicle back and forth but not the caravan And then; there's Port Macquarie (20 mins) and sorrounds! one of the most scenic and attraction packed areas of Australia's eastern seaboard. Stunning beaches, amazing walks, top class restaurants, the list goes on. The nearest Dump Points are located in Port Macquarie (20 minutes drive allowing for the ferry crossing) PLEASE NOTE our immaculate campsites means that no toilet or showers facilities exist ONLY CARAVANS, MOTORHOMES OR CAMPER TRAILERS with a working toilet are permitted on the property SORRY we do not accept tents rooftop or otherwise WHEN BOOKING PLEASE confirm what vehicle you will be arriving in to avoid disappointment FRIENDLY DOGS OFF LEASH ARE PERMITTED however the owner is required to manage their pets to avoid disturbing other campers. Perfect location on the river, take cash (~$20) to grab a weekly pass for the ferry and bread to feed the pet cows. Mark was an excellent host with local knowledge and nothing was a problem.

Mark's property is well kept and Mark was very welcoming and friendly providing firewood. He was very responsive with questions and accomodating. I hope this hipcamp is around to stay for a long time as the site is excellent and we would love to stay here again.

5 stars all the way! Gorgeous spot by the river that also comes with power and a private jetty. Being on the north side of the river at Port Macquarie makes the spot nice and quiet as you take a car ferry over, however the town and beaches are also very close to go back and forth. It is definitely a little slice of heaven.

Mark is an amazing host! So helpful and accommodating. The camp sites are peaceful, beautiful, and tidy. A great location to escape to get off grid, but still be so close to the river, beach and a ferry trip away from exploring Port Macquarie. We will definitely return. Thank you Mark for your wonderful hospitality ❤️

We enjoyed this property immensely! The site was maintained immaculately and there was only ever one other campsite besides ours. There was a great jetty only metres from each campsite which made it easy to have our tinny tied up to go fishing on the river whenever we wanted. The fishing was great and we caught lots of bream and even a flathead. Mark was an amazing host and supplied firewood for and a firepit and checked in regularly in case we needed anything. 10 out of 10!

Very peaceful and clean. Mark is so generous with his land as well as giving advice on the waterways. My husband enjoyed canoeing and fishing in both the river and lake while I enjoyed lazing with my book watching the hawks and eagles and a few planes including a very special stunt spectacular that was, I’m sure, just for me! Thanks Mark!

What a lovely location this is on the Hastings River, a great spot to visit, and it's so close to the town of Port Macquarie and its beaches and attractions as well. Mark was great. He made our stay memorable, and we will certainly return in the future.

What an amazing find!!! A beautiful location to get away from it all. The property was impeccably maintained and the host Mark was absolutely lovely. His recommendations were spot on! We really loved setting up camp for the night, enjoying the stars and cooking over our fire. Our dog was absolutely thrilled to be off leash too and run and sniff around. We will definitely bookmark this spot to come back again & again!
