Welcome to SLEEPY HOLLOW MANOR ESTATE, A family farm Acting under the state government agricultural tourism reform allowing primary producers and livestock farms such as us on RU2 property to have visitors.
As part of this we have to follow some simple protocol! Unfortunately, we have had some issues with local council which now monitor our movements closely and we ask that you follow these simple rules extremely closely failure to do may cause us to reject your booking and may incur penalties to both of us as the landholders and also the camper.
1. STRICTLY No Caravans, RV's, Tents or Any Camping site is to be set up within 50 meters of the creek.
2. No more that 20 people camping on the property at one time.
3. Zero impact to the land and surrounds treat it like you would a national park.
4. All waste must be bagged and taken off site with you.

A car is a necessity in this area, as public transport is quite scarce.
Cycling is popular in the area but you will need to be keen and fit as there are a lot of hills!
We ask that you would treat our property as well or better than your own and expect our guests to be quiet, well-behaved, and environmentally aware of our sustainable and very quiet rural lifestyle.
Please note this is NOT a 'party' site. We are designated 'Land for Wildlife' and so most suited to those who seek peace and quiet.
Owing to the terrain, this property is not suitable for children, but adults are welcome to wander around the beautiful gardens.
Very sorry but this site is not suitable for those who have to make use of a wheelchair.
Campfires are allowed in the fire braziers provided. BYO Firewood.
To protect the abundant wildlife we also have to have a no pets policy.
Please note there is a 50-metre uphill incline of 15 degrees to access the site.

We are only 15 mins from Mount Warning and 30 mins from Byron Bay. There are plenty of National Parks, bushwalks, cycling paths, near by fishing spots and historical places to visit. The fantastic Northern Rivers Rail Trail is just across the road. We are located near the quaint village of Stokers Siding. Enjoy 13 acres of picturesque countryside with running creeks, lush green paddocks and a fruit orchid.
We have very friendly alpacas who love selfies, and Scottish babydoll lambs who love meeting people.
Set up your campervan or park your caravan on the edge of the flowing creek shaded with lush foliage overhanging from the trees. We only offer two sites for your peace and privacy.
There is access to a portaloo. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own shower, and drinking water. Please respect the environment and take everything with you when you leave. Please note this is just a farm portaloo not a glamping bathroom. Please make sure you clean it on departure.

- No amenities so campers must be self-contained and leave no trace

There are plenty of activities to try around town, from bushwalking, exploring the Rail Trail in Murwillumbah and downhill mountain biking at the Uki Mountain Bike Park (Less then 8Km from our property).
The property is just
5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store.
Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations.
We do have a bathtub’s on four sites. Campers should leave no trace.

The ultimate 4WD or AWD site. Open your tent to Breathtaking Views. This camp is a flat grass area up a small hill but the views are amazing. 4WD's or AWD ONLY however, it is only a 100m drive up a grass hill or now the option of a gravel road to YOUR OWN PRIVATE OASIS.
You will feel like you are on top of the world however, Doon Doon Creeks, clear constantly running water with a large swimming hole is only a stroll down the hill.
The property is a 116 acre working cattle farm. Campers are welcome to explore the many walking tracks on the property as well as the bordering national park.
Just a 800 metres from Clarrie Hall Dam, spend your days picnicking and paddling amongst the stunning scenery. The dam is stocked with Australian Bass for a fun day's fishing.

Sleeping arrangements: We have a custom-made inner spring mattress that is an unusual size due to the vintage age of the vintage caravan & therefore the size, is in between a King-single & double size width & a queen-size length (which may or may not be big enough for 2 people depending on your sleeping expectations). The actual measurements are: 1.13M wide & 2M long. There is also a separate king single-size bed, on the other side of the caravan, suitable for another adult, a child or two small children.
All linen and bath towels etc are provided. The caravan is cosy, with a TV, stereo, fridge, sink, wardrobe & storage space.
The property is not far from the beautiful bathhouses of Mullumbimby too ie Kiva Spa & Banya bathhouse
We are a pet-friendly property. If you wish to bring your friendly pet, they are welcome, but we charge a fee of $25 . Please select that you have a pet when making your booking. 5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store.

Sleeping arrangements: We have a custom-made inner spring mattress that is an unusual size due to the vintage age of the vintage caravan & therefore the size, is in between a King-single & double size width & a queen-size length (which may or may not be big enough for 2 people depending on your sleeping expectations). The actual measurements are: 1.13M wide & 2M long. There is also a separate king single-size bed, on the other side of the caravan, suitable for another adult, a child or two small children.
All linen and bath towels etc are provided. The caravan is cosy, with a TV, stereo, fridge, sink, wardrobe & storage space.
The property is not far from the beautiful bathhouses of Mullumbimby too ie Kiva Spa & Banya bathhouse
We are a pet-friendly property. If you wish to bring your friendly pet, they are welcome, but we charge a fee of $25 . Please select that you have a pet when making your booking. The property is set at the foot of Mount Jerusalem National Park. Mountain-view camping site offer a peaceful escape, with cool, fresh air and the scent of pine. There is about a 20-minute bush walk to the mountain lookout near the campsite, where you can view the whole countryside from the lookout.

We had the best time staying here despite changes in our plans due to the weather, the local stores and restaurants are great and despite only briefly being able to explore the railway trail in break of rain we had a blast. The cabin itself is set up amazingly and they have done an amazing job of planting different vegetation and making the property feel like a magical spot. 5/5 ⭐
My only feedback is the tubs for kitchen storage would be a little easier to use if they their contents were labelled on the tub but that's my only piece of constructive feedback for the place.

Clear directions provided to the site; paved roads until the last ~200m or so within the field itself which was a well maintained track (hardcore type surface) - very accessible with 2WD vehicle. Grass pitch was level and well spaced from the other pitches (though I was the only person on the night I stayed).
The toilet is a portaloo but clean and with ample toilet paper supplied, there looked to be another further down by the other site.
Would stay again. Right by the creek so remember bug spray - I forgot, but only got 2 or 3 bites.
