Pitch your tent on a beautiful cleared area with amazing close up views of Mount Warning. This campsite is on a property in Wollumbin national park which is currently closed to outside visitors so you will get to enjoy the magic of the rainforest without the crowds. There is a creek running through the property which you can explore and is a 5 minute walk from the camp site. You are welcome to climb to the top of the property if you are physically up for the challenge and take in breath taking views of both Mount warning up close and the surrounding area. This is a private camp site with its own fire pit area. Mount warning is currently closed to the public to climb but there is plenty of creeks, a swimming hole close by and land to explore. A 10 minute drive takes you to the quaint town of Uki and 25 minutes and you're in the country town of Murwillumbah. Camp on Mount Warning
It is the definition of ‘basic’ but we really enjoyed the peace and quiet at Terri’s property. It’s a good way up Mt Warning, so be prepared for changeable mountain weather. As you’d expect staying beside a national park, there’s ton of wild life, birds, and of course bugs. Bird song, sundown frog chorus and the background noise from crickets was all we heard over the weekend, Terri’s communications with us were excellent. We found the property easily and Terri met us on arrival to take us to the campsite. The campsite itself was open, and clean, with plenty of space to park and move about. It’s on the side of a small hill so flat ground is limited but there was enough flat ground for our tent and kitchen

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay ! Terri was a fantastic host—so welcoming, kind, and always ready to help in any way she could. The property itself is simply stunning. Falling asleep while gazing at the moon, enjoying dinners with the sunset glowing over Mount Warning, and sitting peacefully by the campfire made this experience truly magical. The peace and quiet were perfect, and the birdlife in the morning was incredible—such a beautiful way to wake up. This place offers everything you hope for in a nature escape: breathtaking views, total tranquility, and genuine hospitality. We would 100% recommend this spot and would gladly return without hesitation.

Mt Warning and Terri are incredible!! We had the best time looking at the beautiful Mt Warning, enjoying the sounds of birds and hanging out with the two guardians of the mountain (Bentley and Hugo the fierce dachshunds). Truly a campsite for anyone - we got up to hikes and adventures on the property as well as chillaxing by the fire and looking at the stunning parrots. The privacy and hospitality of the site were excellent - Terri was an awesome, incredibly helpful host. If you stay here definitely visit Uki and the Mt Warning hotel- lovely views and people. Our dog also loved it as much as we did and we will definitely be coming back next year!!

Such a beautiful spot where you can really connect back with nature! My partner, dog and I had the best time hiking around the property and visiting near by waterholes. Also had the best naps of my life from just listening to the birds and nature💤 also we got visited by fireflies which was super magical! ✨ On top of this Terri was such a beautiful host who made us feel super comfortable and was more than happy to show us around to hiking trails and the creek! We will 100% be back to this spot! Thankyou Terri for sharing your piece of paradise!🌄✨✨💖

Terri is a beautiful soul and her land is stunning. She is an amazing host who is more than accommodating and welcoming. Directions were easy to understand and you get a whole cleared yard to yourself to enjoy with ulimate quiet. We will definitaly be back 🫶✨️

A magnificent place to camp! A flat area with privacy and stunning views and the loveliest host! Sadly we had to leave early but we will be booking here again very soon. Thanks for having us Terri!

Was an amazing spot! On the foothills of Mt Warning - very spiritual energetic place. Great views. Amazing host - Terri is a legend! Have a good yarn with her if you get the chance. Will be back and highly recommend :)

Magic alright! An absolutely beautiful and private spot with a peaceful vibe and awesome views. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding. We really enjoyed the bush bash hike to the top of the property to see Mt Warning from a closer perspective. Terri was the loveliest of hosts and very welcoming. 100% recommend!

A stunning location and a real privilege to be able to relax on the shoulder of Wullumbin. An absolutely lovely helpful host too. Thanks so much Terri for letting us stay on your corner of paradise. Definitely coming back and recommending it to everyone. This is a must go to spot.

There is nothing better than Camping in a serene environment and adding the Magic of Mt Warning's stunning elements provided an amazing experience for my family! Waking up each morning to witness the Peak of Mt Warning receive the first rays of Sunshine in Eastern Australia certainly a highlight! Watching Black Cockatoos hearing their ancient like squawk's and Australian Eagles soar through the Valley adjacent to the Camp site was quite a show! Finding a peaceful spot on the little creek looking at large Rainforest Ca nopy running through the property was more than tranquil. Most of all our Host Terri was terrific, her knowledge of the landscape and general warmth made us feel very welcomed! We will be back again soon!
