5 nights at Bundilla River Camp

A beautiful place by the river, with grassy green grass to camp on. A pleasant place with a great outlook to the hills with cattle in the paddocks. We stayed in late April at site 20, the only problem we had was the lack on sun as we were camping off grid. We got full sun at around 2.30. If you are camping off grid I would recommend booking sites from number 1. Mind you this would be different in the summer months. Overall Rick was more than accommodating with bringing firewood down and homemade muffins. Thanks Rick and Cathy for a great stay.

Our two nights stay at Rick and Cheryl's farm was our first experience with Hip Camp and it was lovely. The kids loved the kayaks and bikes, the place felt way less crowded than a normal camp site and the river was lovely.

Red Camp is spectacular. You get the whole space to yourself. It’s completely private and surrounded by stunning views and a beautiful creek with the crystal clear water. Sammy was a great host with clear communication. The $10 a crate firewood was helpful and plenty available. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying this piece of paradise again soon.

This is a beautiful, quiet escape close to fantastic little towns that make wonderful day trips. The camp ground is really tidy and clean and the new toilet block was awesome. Having a powered site was great for our camper trailer but you could easily go without if you are self sufficient or just don't need power. We had a short farm visit before we left which was a highlight for the kids. Highly recommend this hipcamp.

This camp had avery picturesque outlook. Very clean and tidy. Portaloo's were exceptionally clean. So close to the forest for some amazing 4wd adventures. Great experience and highly rated. We will be back for sure.

Come camp along the beautiful Wilson River on a working cattle property. Shady, grassy campsites by a flowing river, just 25 minutes drive from Port Macquarie. The camp area includes toilets, a basic camp shed, where campers can make use of the picnic table, stainless steel food preparation bench and camp fire pit. There are only 2 sites available with power which is included in the site price. Check out our discount for single travelers and extras like eggs and firewood. Never Never Park is a Sub-Tropical Rainforest property which borders the ancient Gondwana World Heritage National Park on 2 sides including along Coopernook creek. Located half an hours drive Northeast of Dorrigo and 1 hour West of Coffs Harbour (via Eastern Dorrigo Way) in the beautiful Bellingen Shire, surrounded by various National Parks with 4WD tracks, crystal clear creeks, waterfalls, cascades, swimming holes and picnic areas. The property is 400 acres featuring spring fed mountain streams, cascades and waterfalls that run through its central gorge. First surveyed in 1906 and logged in the days of bullocks and hand saws, remnants of a bygone era remain including the “Jack Feeney Memorial Giant Tallowwood Tree”, a Champion Tree of Australia listed in the National Register of Big Trees. It’s over 50m tall, more than 1000 years old, and was around long before Captain Cook reached our shores. The landscape starts in dense Sub-Tropical Rainforest opening up to lush green pastures overlooking the amazing views to the west showcasing hedge-rowed rolling hillsides and 1600m high mountain range towards Marengo. You will come here to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of `Black Mountain'. `Black Mountain’ is on Gumbainggir country. It is a registered conservation property bordering Nymboida River and Nymboi-Binderay National Park. Alastair and I have shared the property for more than 25 years and consider ourselves custodians of this precious place. Visitors enjoy: the pristine river; walking tracks through diverse terrain; starry night skies and campfires. Previous guests recommend staying at least two nights to soak up the atmosphere and explore the area. Choose from the 'Ant Shack' or four adjacent campsites with easy access and views to the Nymboida River. Shared facilities include a hot shower and composting toilets. You can walk, swim and kayak, explore the area or just relax for days. We can’t accommodate domestic animals or allow fishing, not even catch and release, because we protect our wildlife and the endangered Eastern Cod. Black Mountain is remote but just 60 kilometres from Grafton or Coffs (via back way). 2WD access to our house is from Nymboida only. 4WD/AWD from Lowanna or Glenreagh and 4WD/AWD down to the river/campsite area - Not suitable for caravans. All proceeds from Airbnb and Hipcamp are invested in the continuing conservation of Black Mountain.

If you are sleeping in your car/van/rooftop tent, then your site will be on the driveway inside the Rainbow Farm Gate (see picture of Van on driveway) , with use of all campground amenities. If you are tent camping, then you can park your vehicle in our designated car parking area and set up in the campground.
