Secluded Racecourse Beach is a short drive south of Crescent Head on the mid-north coast of NSW. We have a beautiful 11 acres of coastal land where you can hear the waves as you sleep with the pristine Racecourse Beach only a 5 to 10 minute walk away. We are not directly on the beach and do not have beach access. Racecourse Beach is a great spot for surfing, fishing and swimming. All you need to do is find one of our intimate sites for you to pitch a tent or pull up with the camper van. THERE ARE NO AMENITIES SO YOU MUST BE FULLY SELF CONTAINED AND LEAVE NO TRACE. Fires are allowed, but must be contained in an off ground fire pit brought by camper. Firewood is available to purchase from the service station in Crescent Head and you are also welcome to gather wood from the property.

We are located 3 hours north of Sydney and 5 hours south of the QLD Border making it a convenient stop over for your travels, or a nice place to stop and explore the local areas being close to beaches and the Barrington Tops. The property has spectacular views that you won't find anywhere else. We are in a quiet rural area where the neighbours can't be seen. There are walking tracks for you to explore the natural environment. There are many kangaroos, wallabies and numerous amount of birds in the area. The property backs onto national park. There is a river that is only a few kms behind the property that you can put a small boat in to take you out to Saltwater Beach. Old bar beach is a 12 minute drive, Forster-Tuncurry is 15 minutes and the beaches of Pacific Palms a 45 minute drive. There are file piles near the bush sites that you can help yourself too. If in need of groceries or supplies Taree supermarkets and Stores are only 10 minutes away.

Two powered sites are available for either a caravan or motorhome (that are self contained) with each offering spectacular views and breathtaking sunsets across the water. The site provides one of the best fishing spots in the area if you’d like to cast a line, or you can simply relax on the private jetty—or at your van—and watch the activity along the river. A slipway is also available should you wish to launch your canoe. As we are located on the North Shore of Port Macquarie, you will need to either access the property via the Settlement Point Ferry or take the dirt road through Kempsey (which can be in poor condition at times). The Hibbard Ferry is only 300 m from the campsite, making it easy to pop into town, explore Port Macquarie’s attractions, or visit the region’s wineries. For longer stays, a discounted ferry pass can be purchased on your behalf. North Shore Beach is a 5-minute drive away, and the local gin distillery is just a 15–20 minute drive up Maria River Road. We are based in the mountains North West of Taree in NSW. Some may decide to visit because of the Famous Ellenborough Falls being on our door step. While others are seeking space, nature, a river side camping spot, a mountain bike focused holiday with the fam, or a cheap group stay right on the river. And others just simply LOVE this area and come back each year, and bring their dog! Guudji Yiigu Nyiirunang - Birpi for Welcome Everyone! while ... Teretulemast is an Estonian name, it means WELCOME. THE HISTORY OF OUR PLACE as we know it: The Biripi people were the original and will always be the landowners of this area. They spent their summers on the mountain, while their winters were beside the coast. We are told, this area was once a women's only area, where they would bath and give birth. We respect those past and present who took care of this land and lived amongst it. This is Biripi country. Sometime after this, some people took over the land, and then offered it to others. Then cut trees down to build with, and put cows on it for over 80 years.. then we were offered it! And here we are today.... US: We LOVE hosting people, as we literally LOVE sharing this place with others. It’s part of who we are, but also a huge part of our bigger picture, in getting people re connected with Nature, so much so, that they want to protect it. Plus it’s so damn pretty here, all year around! You Camp/Hipcamp has been a driving force as to why we have had so many guests find us, and ultimately stay with us (along with some help from our insta #teretulemastelands blogs & workaway/helpx). But if you are wondering why people would visit, I'll do my best to summarise: • 400 metre walk from our RIVER flat to the famous Ellenborough Falls (famous for being the longest consistent drop in the southern hemisphere - hows that for on the map?) • All sites have access to the river with a short walk, or a tiny walk. Most are sitting on the famous Ellenborough River. • The Penthouse spot of sites is our River Flat. With it's hot shower, 2 composting toilets (still fully off grid), outdoor bbq/kitchen, gas & combustion stove & bar in shed (with solar lighting & fridge). PLUS A MTB PUMP TRACK! ALL PART of what you get when you book it! • The Ellenborough river is gorgeous & fresh, so paddling, floating, swimming, drinking and generally lounging around in it, is welcomed! And the locals often hang out together at the falls (where there are even deeper water holes) and the local made famous The Rapids (8 min drive away). *we will show you once you get here! bYO drinks and floaties! • ALL sites can accommodate reasonably large groups, SERENITY and RIVER FLAT can cater to around 100 OR more if you wanted them to. 2 composting toilets on these sites. (so toilets will be the main limiting factor for a super large group). • We book out each site ‘exclusively’, so only you, your mates and family will be sleeping next to each other. Which is why we have a min rate, versus a per person rate. And why most sites include from 8 people up to 15 people within their min rate. Pretty awesome deal when you divide by that! • Many sites are 4x4 caravan friendly (need good approach and departure angles), and yes, you don’t need to reverse them in, you drive them through making them easy to stop, enjoy your space and get out again! • Local sites are a plenty, whether that is go for a walk to see the falls, OR it’s a rainy day and you take a 45 min trek deeper into the Gondwana belt, where the big trees live, the turquoise water begins, and the Koalas, and Greater Gliders still live (so long as we can keep those pesky loggers away). • Most of our sites have had their roads upgraded, but some like Between the Trees can be a little more ‘4x4’ only. So always ask us if unsure. • YES we allow you to bring your furry friends! 😊. (aka dog friendly stay) • YES we are perfect for the newbie Mountain Biker or those who like a speedy downhill (blue rated), as we also have a Flow Trail AND a pump track available (great for groms and codjers). NOTE: the pump track is only for those who book the River flat at this stage. Unless you're good at making friends with those staying there, bring a beer maybe.. and you can ask them if you can ride it? • Fire pits on most sites • FARM mornings are FREE – just ask us when you arrive! 😊. (cows, sometimes we are milking, goats, baby animals, chickens, a mini mule (Olaf), pigs & we have 4 can be noisy dogs upon arrival). Love some kids to help or just to pat a baby goat! • Need fire wood, or eggs, we sell so just ask. 😊. • Don’t have camping gear, well lucky you! We hire it already setup, so all you have to do is turn up and move in! Ask us for more information if this interests you. We want everyone to experience nature, and for most sites, you will go to sleep with the noise of the river passing you... most serene way to fall asleep EVA. Great campsite by the river, the site was super well kept with clean toilets and enough activities for families to come along with kids and keep them entertained. The generosity of Rick and Cheryl was outstanding. My partner and I felt safe and was greatly appreciated of the hospitality. Firewood was offered once arrived and sites were clearly marked, with supplied fire pits. Would highly recommend going as this was such a beautiful area and the river was so warm and relaxing to be next to

We loved our stay at bundilla river camp! Communication with hosts was great. We had sites 4 and 5 and they were great. Very close to toilet block which was clean and well maintained. Very close to the water. The river is stunning and the water was perfect. We will be back definitely. We stayed with friends for my birthday weekend and it was everything I'd hoped for, thank you!

we selected a site 5 amongst the tall gums, watching the dappled light shine through the tree tops and the sound of the birds was peacefull, the location was only 5 mins off the highway but very quiet without any traffic noise it was a great stop on our way further south, it is a large site with tall trees, branches and logs were gathered up against the tree by the host, excellent thought. we loved the setting greg

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Bundilla site 2 with power, it was a spacious grassy site close to toilets and river access. The river is amazing to swim and kayak in and was very refreshing and a great temperature! Kayaks are provided free of charge which is fantastic. The toilets are spotless and clean and we appreciated the herb garden which you are welcome to pick from. There are small fire pits for use at the camp site. Rick and Cheryl were both friendly and helpful and we'd love to visit again one day.

Me and the kids loved playing with the dog, walking around the property and making use of the shared covered area and kitchen facilities. This is a great place to stop for the night, so close to the highway yet surrounded by nature (no road noise). The directions were very clear and signage made it even easier. Accessibility is great for large vehicles towing large caravans. The sites are very well maintained and spaced out. Would recommend.

Enjoyed our stay at Bundilla, good size grassy spaces. Rick and Cheryl have done everything to make a camp here enjoyable including the cleanest long drop I have ever sat on with some quirky touches. A nice big grassy area for the kids with swings, boogie boards for the river rapids. Even picked a bit of lemongrass from the herb patch for a cuppa. I would say best suits a family get together with kids.

Camping by the river was wonderful and being able to launch our kayaks from beside our van made things very easy. Nice place to swim when it gets hot also helped although access a bit of a challenge. One and only downside was the traffic noise in the night seems to travel straight up the river. Enjoyed our stay and we will be back

We thoroughly enjoyed our couple of nights at OKA. Beautiful peaceful location with majestic trees filled with staghorns and a lovely dam with pretty water lilies. The facilities are well maintained and the camp kitchen is amazing - complete with chandeliers and lots of eclectic things to look at. Kellie and Rod were very welcoming as was their beautiful dog Ruby.
