Our beautiful riverside farm is a 94 acre, private waterfront property. All camps are large waterfront sites and well spaced apart, with firepits and acres of open lawn space for the kids! Vehicle access is easy and no need to un-hitch if you're doing a short stopover. There is excellent fishing, bird-watching and natural ecology. We’re located opposite Rawdon Creek Nature Reserve with pristine waterways to explore. Free use of large 3 man canoe and high tide ramp available for small boats. Plenty of pure fresh rainwater to fill your van. Our pristine campsite location means we cannot provide toilets. WE ONLY ALLOW CARAVANS, MOTORHOMES or CAMPER TRAILERS with a working toilet. PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR TYPE OF RV WHEN YOU BOOK !!! Sorry, tent only, or small camper vans not permitted. Your friendly dog is welcome, please don't bring other dogs! Site 1 has a large undercover camp kitchen with gas BBQ, good drinking water, 12v lighting. The best site to have, when the weather isn't great. Additional small vehicle allowed on some sites, please contact. The last 3 klm of road to the farm is a council maintained gravel road usually in good condition. Dump points are at Wauchope and Port Mac. ** PLEASE ARRIVE BEFORE SUNSET ** so you can find your campsite!

6. Secluded river bush camp (4WD)

100%
(2)
RV site · Sleeps 8 · Vehicles under 11 m
Site 6 is a naturally secluded bush site on the river in a eucalypt plantation. Large spacious area with plenty of shade and direct river access. Plenty of room for the kids to play, fishing, crabbing, short riverside walking trails and plenty of firewood around. BUT.... You will need to be 4WD only, single axle off road van and a reasonably competent driver who can reverse a van. Bigger vans may be unsuitable. The site may need to be closed after heavy rain. I also need to mention that there may be mozzies after wet periods. Please don't forget that even though this site is secluded, you still must use your own toilet facilities. Nobody wants to see toilet paper near their campsite! There is plenty of shade for hot summer days but this means limited sunlight for solar panels. We have alternate areas if access is not possible.
