Beautiful peaceful space with plenty of room to spread out between campers.
Friendly hosts only too willing to make your stay enjoyable.
Wishes we could have stayed longer - but will definitely be back.

5 great days right on the banks of Maria river with amazing water views. The whole camping area immaculately maintained, grassy, easy to navigate, turn, park. Probably another 2 -3 direct spots on the river, many other options on a massive grassy area with either open spaces great for solar or sheltered by trees. Felt very private with only 2 other vans in the distance. All spots close to water edge. Water access via a water ramp/tree clearing where we also lodged our tinny and from where it’s possible to cast a line. Unfortunately, no luck catching decent size fish for us this time. Clean flush toilets within the grounds. Drinking water, rubbish bin, recycling bins and firewood, all kindly provided at the entrance to the grounds. Walking distance to a local pub for classic beers and meals. Our host, Tracy, was very welcoming and cheerful, happy to answer all our questions and also given us some local tips and hints. Highly recommend for the privacy, nature’s feel and close distance to many attractions.

Tracy’s place is amazing.
From the second we arrived she made us feel welcomed and offered to help us with anything we might need.
With lots of space you don’t feel like your on top of other people the pub is super close if you don’t want to cook and the river is right there if you want to swim or just want to enjoy the view.
Would love to come back here in the future

Tracy is always welcoming and accommodating - our second time was better than our first, because we had perfect weather!
A great spot, with the only heads up being that the freight train comes through once or twice a day (one usually in the early hours of the morning)
I recommend the open spots if you're running any solar.

What a fantastic spot, peaceful beautiful and very private. The owners were fantastic and very helpful. Helped us light fires in the firpit each night. Will definitely be back

This is an excellent location on the river at Telegraph Point. A lovely property for camping; with wonderful Hosts. A great place to enjoy in its own right; or; to use as a base to explore the surrounding area.

What a lovely well kept property right on the river. We had a fabulous time at The Old Butter Factory. Great location not far from the main hub of Port Macquarie. Heaps of space between other campers.

Beautiful grassy grounds leading down to river. Arrived in middle of thunderstorm and host very welcoming offering use of sheltered indoor area if needed (we were fine) and selection of sites as we were only ones there. Thanks

Great spot right on the river with plenty of nice spots to camp on the mowed grass, we stayed two nights and it was very peaceful and tidy. Tracy was an awesome host and we will definitely visit again.

Camp ground was really nice and very well maintained and we were fortunate enough to have the whole place to ourselves. Host and facilities were excellent and nice kayaking and standup paddle boarding on the river.

We had the best stay over new years eve at the old butter factory. We made a last minute booking as we were on a road trip and we were so pleased with it!! Flushing toilets were great, river view with hammocks and lots of space. We really appreciated that Tracy doesn't over crowd with only 4 sites available. 10/10 would visit again if we were nearby!

We loved staying at the Old Butter Factory. Tracy was super friendly and welcoming, her property was big enough for each group to have their own space (Tracy only accepts 4 bookings at a time). I would recommend the Old Butter Factory for anyone looking for a lush green space to spend some quality time outside!

Amazing spot! Had such a nice night here. Really well maintained grounds with nice lawn, flat areas to set up camp, right by the river, lots of shade lots of space. Felt tranquil and very relaxing. Would come again and would recommend! Thanks Tracey we absolutely loved it.

The Old Butter Factory is a lovely, peaceful place with lots of shaded areas, clean bathrooms, great views of the river and Tracey is one of the loveliest hosts we’ve met!! We had a great couple of days lazing around enjoying the scenery. Just wish we could have stayed longer!! The directions given by Tracey were excellent, she greeted us on arrival and gave us all the information we needed. Great for families and an added bonus, you can take your fur babies!! We will be back!!

Worth the money especially if you are looking for a place to stay whilst passing through, beautiful green site with farm deco and good to have a toilet if you need. Saw pelicans and a kangaroo during our one night visit. Enough firewood was provided for all campers to last all night and plenty of tinder around, just need to byo lighter. Near a river so bring mozzy repellent.

We had the best time at The Old Butter Factory. The nature is gorgeous, right next to the river, firewood and firepits provided. Highly highly recommend, we hope to come back.
