Grassy spot river views
A stunning spot under the trees by the river. It was super peaceful, surrounded by wildlife, beautifully maintained and Tracy is a wonderful host.

Tracy's property is a beautiful place to stay- the green grass and river views 😍 It was great to have access to flushing toilets and the cold outdoor shower was so good on the hot days!
Tracy and her partner were super friendly and helpful too.
We had been enjoying swimming in the river, but just so everyone is aware, some guys in a boat came and told us that we should get out because there are bull sharks around. Obviously that's always a risk when swimming in coastal rivers, but they seemed to think it was high risk.
Apart from the potential swimming risk, it was one of the nicest and prettiest places we've stayed!

Beautiful property and campsite right near the river which is wonderful for swimming and kayaking. Clean facilities and sites, lovely soft and mown grass. Can't wait to come back.

We had a fantastic stay at the old butter factory. Tracy was very welcoming and more than happy to accommodate. We kayaked the river catching mud crabs and Jew fish. Would highly recommend a stay here

Great stay by the river. Awesome location, great to have access to toilets. Just 30 minutes to Port Macquarie. Large open space, ell kept. Tracy was very helpful with local knowlege and suggestions on places to visit.

This was a lovely place. Tracey and Karl were relaxed and convivial hosts. The other guests were nice and adhered to the rules. Our dogs had a great time, made some new friends and were exhausted by the time we got back in the car.

We loved camping here as our base for exploring the North Coast and Port Macquarie. Being able to have our dog here as well as it being nice quiet and peaceful with port of activities made it so good.
Tracy was great and they put a lot of effort into keeping the property looking top notch, it was nice they’d have a check in with guests every other night to make sure everyone’s good and have a chat and recommendations for places to check out!

5 great days right on the banks of Maria river with amazing water views. The whole camping area immaculately maintained, grassy, easy to navigate, turn, park. Probably another 2 -3 direct spots on the river, many other options on a massive grassy area with either open spaces great for solar or sheltered by trees. Felt very private with only 2 other vans in the distance. All spots close to water edge. Water access via a water ramp/tree clearing where we also lodged our tinny and from where it’s possible to cast a line. Unfortunately, no luck catching decent size fish for us this time. Clean flush toilets within the grounds. Drinking water, rubbish bin, recycling bins and firewood, all kindly provided at the entrance to the grounds. Walking distance to a local pub for classic beers and meals. Our host, Tracy, was very welcoming and cheerful, happy to answer all our questions and also given us some local tips and hints. Highly recommend for the privacy, nature’s feel and close distance to many attractions.

Tracy’s place is amazing.
From the second we arrived she made us feel welcomed and offered to help us with anything we might need.
With lots of space you don’t feel like your on top of other people the pub is super close if you don’t want to cook and the river is right there if you want to swim or just want to enjoy the view.
Would love to come back here in the future

Tracy is always welcoming and accommodating - our second time was better than our first, because we had perfect weather!
A great spot, with the only heads up being that the freight train comes through once or twice a day (one usually in the early hours of the morning)
I recommend the open spots if you're running any solar.

What a lovely well kept property right on the river. We had a fabulous time at The Old Butter Factory. Great location not far from the main hub of Port Macquarie. Heaps of space between other campers.
