Peaceful serenity at Cracknback, beautiful river with amazing views of the mountains nearby. Definitely will be a go to campground

Weekend Trip to Vallis Oakes

Redcamp is as beautiful, if not more beautiful, than it appears in the photographs. Even though it rained during our stay it didn't stop us from enjoying a swim in the beautiful crystal clear waters of the swimming hole. My 3 year old granddaughter loved playing with the river pebbles and we enjoyed the grassy open space. No bindis or weeds, great for running around barefoot, great fire pit too. Make sure that you take everything you need as Bowraville is a good hour away. The hosts were friendly and welcoming as too was their dog Banjo who visited often. Firewood is available to purchase on arrival, so no need to carry it with you.

3 nights at Missabotti Wia Ora

Absolutely beautiful spot next to the Nambucca river. So peaceful and the river was flowing well. Would recommend this spot to anyone wanting a bit of solitude. The visiting cows with their babies was a treat! Thank you Nick for sharing your special piece of paradise! We will return!

Middle Ridge had a great outlook. There was plenty of space for our two vans and completely private . The amenities being only 400m away was a great bonus. The visit from the cows each morning was also great.

3 nights at Anchorage Park

Anchorage Park is a beautifully maintained camp with sites right on the Kalang River. Perfectly positioned for stunning views and sunset is particularly scenic. When we had campers on both sides of us we did feel hemmed in though and wished the sites were bigger. We appreciated being able to fill up our water tanks before we left.

3 nights at Riverside Farm Stay

We had a fantastic 3 nights at Riverside Farmstay. The property is lovely and peaceful right next to the river with access to power and water, clean toilets, pool and private jetty. The camp Kitchen is an awesome space with wood fired pizza oven and large indoor bar area and pool table. Our boys had the best time feeding the animals each morning, playing on the flying fox and hanging out with Jeff and Lou’s grandkids. Having been on the road for a year now, the stand out places to stay for us are those with the personal touch where we are made to feel welcome and at home and this is one of those unique places. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend

The campsite is quite an expansive area. There are plenty of sites with fire pits & they are well set apart. The forest behind the campsite is beautiful & well worth a walk.

1 night at Anchorage Park

Angela is a very nice host that has a great well kept area, this would one of the best that we have stayed at, have recommended it to many already and we will definitely be back. And good fishing as well.

4 nights at Anchorage Park

What a spot!! Troy and Angela greeted at their property and guided us down to our spot. Highly recommend campsite 5 for fishing and having your own waterfront spot. The weather wasn’t great while we were there but there is plenty of things to do around town, Nambucca, Bellingen and Coffs. The campsites are big enough to be private and also having a water point is awesome feature.

Beautiful drive in to property and lovely location with good amenities. Creek was easy to access and great to swim in. Close proximity to Port Macquarie. We had a lot of rain and were flooded in for half a day, which made the site a little slippery to get out of. Rick and Cheryl were extremely helpful and accomodating though!

Absolutely beautiful place, the kids had an absolute ball on the canoes and with all the animals. Will definitely be back again we camp a lot and this is our family’s favourite place so far. Susan and Bernard are such lovely hosts. I felt so safe with our young kids here. Usually I worry about them on campsites but it was so nice to relax and have them just enjoy this special place.

If I could leave a 6 star review I would. Our hosts made us feel right at home from the minute we got there. We wont hesitate on rebooking the next time we are in Port Macquarie

It was a lovely small farm area that’s shared with other campers. It was great to have individual fire pits for each camp and the compostable toilet was the cleanest toilet I ever used!

Great camp ground with well spaced out sites, firepits and toilets. Friendly host came round to check everyone was OK after heavy rain the night before. Creek crossing could be a problem if there is heavy rain and you've got a 2wd... in most weather it should be fine. Lovely spot... convenient for overnight stop. We'll plan to be back for longer when we get chance too!
