Large roomy grassy ALL FLAT level campsites, so great to get away camping with friends or family. Beelisco Honey Hipcamp camping spot is set on 300acres located in the beautiful valley of Baerami Creek and surrounded by the amazing mountain views of Wollemi National Park. We are located just off the Bylong Valley Way, so a great spot to spend a night or two if travelling through. There are some amazing mountain views and a very tranquil peaceful camping spot. Tar sealed road all the way to the front gate and then only 150metres in on farm to your campsite on a very well-maintained road suitable for ALL vehicles. We have wide gate access to suit all vehicles/trailers of any size to go in and out and all sites are grassy and level. Great spot to relax, chill and take in the amazing country air and surroundings, relax by a fire, cook marshmallows or a camp oven feast. Walk down to the edge of this campsite and listen to the creek trickle past, go bushwalking, listen to the birds and watch the Kangaroos. Of a night you will be amazed at how many stars you can see, it is just beautiful, so don't forget to look up. Please put in ‘Beelisco Honey’ into google maps to see how far we are from you. Our farm is a family run business with Husband, wife and 2 young boys, we run horses and cattle all year round and grow Lucerne hay on a few large flats around the farm. There are plenty of flat areas for caravan and motorhomes to set up comfortably. ​Enjoy a campfire in the evenings and gaze up at the star filled sky! Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. The ultimate Farm Solitude Camping experience. If you want to get away from it all and relax in a secluded Campsite surrounded by beautiful Native Bushland or explore miles of trails, gullies, caves, Flight Springs Creek and the exquisite Bow River, take some time to camp at Hillside, which is a remote 2000 acre working cattle property situated 23km west of MERRIWA, 17 km off the Golden Highway, adjoining the Goulburn River National Park. All sites are in secluded area's far away from each other but at busy times people may pass by some sites to access the river. There are plenty of walking trails and for the enthusiastic bushwalker, the Bow River winds its way 7km down to the Goulburn River through the National Park with its gentle flowing stream and rock pools nestled between sandstone cliffs of caves with open area's. There is an abundance of wildlife to see. All sites are pet friendly, but pets must be kept on leash and cleaned up after. Campfires are allowed when there are no restrictions. Cut firewood is available on request $20 lots, cash only. 4WD and High vehicles are recommended as tracks have rocky outcrops and some areas of loose sand. Some sites can be accessed by 2WD. The Bow River area is strictly 4WD (Low Range) access ONLY as it is extremely steep with loose gravel and rocky outcrops. AWD (All wheel drive) vehicles will not get back out. Outback 4WD tracks are now open for campers to explore as well as Hidden Valley, which has walking trail access to the Bow River. "Gully View Campsite" is the closest site to the property entrance. Great for overnight stays. It can be set up as a communal campground for larger groups. Guests are required to be fully self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. *Most Campsites now have toilets. Phone Service is very limited in this area. If you email a request, it may take a few hours for us to reply. We also do Vinyl, Canvas and Leather repairs during your stay in most cases. WARNING: There are many areas of cliff edges and shear drops! Children must be supervised at all times while exploring these areas. There are also dams at or near some of the campsite areas that could be dangerous if children wander off exploring alone.

Liberty Plains offers bush camping for self contained campers. day trips are also available by booking the site that is listed as ‘day trips’ please read the description under that site before booking. There is one toilet available, a portable toilet (if the toilet runs out of soap/paper etc you will need to supply your own. The property offers a large dam for kayaking, fishing, yabbying. There is also bush walking. There is a small common area/ shed available with a bbq for guests to use and a table. There is also a shower and toilet available near the main house shed for a donation in the donation box to cover water and gas. If exploring please do not go through any fences as you may end up on a neighbors property. Guests may camp as close or far away from the main dam as they like, camp sites are first in first served. Pets allowed if kept under control, firewood is permitted to be used from the ground only no felling of standing trees, you may have a fire on the ground. Please find your own way to camp by following your map that will be sent to you on booking and the signs that are posted from the driveway on after you turn in the main entrance, no need to meet and greet with host although I may come around occasionally to see if everything is going alright.

Good Paddock is located just 5 minutes out of town with a beautiful little fresh water creek. The property has access to mountain to a mountain hike, 4WD trails and glow worm tunnel access. The paddock is flat and grassy, any type of tent or van can be set up around a campfire. This paddock used to be inhabited by Miners and locals, so you will find bomb shelters, rail tracks and other little historical objects in the ground. There are distant neighbours past the trees. At the top of the mountain there is a breathtaking view of the whole town. This site is close to many gems of the area and there are many 4WD trails. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control and cleaned up after. Campfires are also permitted when there is no restrictions in place.

We looked for alternative ways of living 6 years ago so we purchased 220 acres to build an off grid camping/eco resort. The property consists of a straw bale house, Tipis, Cottages, 5 stars shared facilities (hot showers, flushing toilets - disable toilet ), outdoor kitchen (gas bbq, pizza oven, all kitchen utensils, pots ), solar system and worm farm septic system. The facilities of the camping are quite luxurious some guests labelling them "better than at home" so you can enjoy the bush experience & still have the comfort of a home. Here you can discover amazing wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, cockatoos, lyre birds and a lot of other birds (designated bird drinking stations through a WIRES program which has a lot of success.) Bring a camera and take in the incredible sights such as wildlife, cliffs, caves, and a magical view of Mount Yengo and Moruben from the top of the property. They are designated walking tracks around the property with all variable lengths & difficulties. The Little Creek Retreat is conveniently located 1km north of Lithgow town centre at the end of the road nestled at the bottom of the valley near a pretty little creek. It sits next to the heritage state mine which you may view and have tours on the weekend. We have recently opened our first cozy site with outdoor seating and cooking area fire pit with free firewood for up to 6 people. Feel free to pet our miniature goats. They are very friendly. Please ask before feeding them! One private camping toilet is available for use. Local kangaroos sometimes drop by. Plenty of wildlife with kookaburras, parrots, currawongs and even a shy wombat. Mini goats are sometimes on the property as well. There are many amazing local bush walks and plenty of fascinating history and things to do. Space for one car, tent, caravan or trailer 10m x 4m wide clear flat area with easy access next to outdoor seating and fire pit. 2 minute drive to cafes and shops and town centre, bus stop is 100m away, train station 1 km away. We are conveniently close to town so you may hear occasional noise yet mostly quiet. Lithgow tourism centre has plenty of information and activities to do. There are scenic lookouts, climbing, canyoning, bike trails or simply relax with great eateries and historical sites. Fires are permitted when there are no RFS bans in place. Note: there is no water on the property so you will need to allow enough to ensure you have completely extinguished your fire before you depart. It is ok to collect fallen kindling, no chain sawing of trees. Wood is provided free of charge for small fires only. If you use the kindling please play if forward and collect for the next person. If you need more wood simply message me. There is a camping toilet with toilet paper and hand sanitizer supplied. Well behaved pets are welcome and we encourage you to keep your dog on a lead if they are likely to adventure too far from your site and disturb the local wildlife or other campers. No cats as there are many native birds. Please take all your belongings and rubbish with you when you leave. If you are interested in free accommodation, we are open to exchange labour as they is always plenty to do on the farm.
