Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Rocklee is on Wiradjuri land, surrounded by Gardens of Stone and Capertee national parks and the Mugii Murrum-ban State Conservation Area. The property is located between Dubbo and Sydney, 2.5 hours from both cities. Rocklee has a mix of no-longer used paddocks, untouched bush, and two ephemeral creeks. Access is 4wd only, through the conservation area, which has beautiful pagodas and endless bushwalks. Hipcampers can choose from plenty of space where they'd like to set up camp. Please be careful as some paddocks are overgrown and fences have come down. Some areas of road across our property have wombat holes so drive slowly and be careful. There are no amenities here, campers need to be self contained and leave no trace.

Point Hatteras - Paddock + Bush
One of the best
Probably one of the best hip camps we've been to. Such a beautiful property to explore and get off grid. Emma was great, directions were good and she was very responsive. A wonderful weekend away.

Stunning views, nothing but utter serenity, Emma was amazing and even popped in the first afternoon to check in and offer more firewood!!!! I could not fault it and plenty of room for a larger set up then ours.

Emma was a great host. Unfortunately we were unable to camp at the property due to having large vans. Emma was very understanding and provided us options to look into that might suit us better. We hope to visit in the future with our 4wd as the location was beautiful!

We loved camping at Rocklee, we met Emma and Monte who were very welcoming and friendly. Leading up to the trip Emma regularly provided updates on the condition of the track leading to the property. We will definitely be back. The location is beautiful and off grid which is what we were after.
