Camping with the Horses
We had a great time at River Oak. Very easy to find. The horses that made an appearance to our camp site were very friendly. We were after peace and quiet and that’s what River Oak delivered. The beach site offered a nice flat grassy area with a gentle slope toward the river.

Tranquility
What can I say, top spot at the rapids, sound of the water over rocks very relaxing. Just a great spot, great hosts just great, great, great. Best of all no phone, no internet unless you really want to be disturbed, you can walk up the hill and get reception.

Riveroak Farm - Beach Site
Perfect!
We really enjoyed our 3 nights at the beach campsite. Great sandy access to the river for swimming and fishing. The water level was down a bit and we look forward to coming back when the river is higher to kayak. The location is so quiet and private with the other campsite being far away while sharing the same paddock. Vanessa was very welcoming and a friendly host. We’ll be back for sure, the peacefulness, sandy water access, views and trout fishing is a winning formula!

Beautiful quiet river spot
Beautiful spot on the river and lovely open grassy area. Our doggo had a great time exploring and taking a dip in the water. We even had a lovely visit from the horses on the farm. Lovely quiet spot. We will be back again.
