THE CAMPGROUND IS CLOSED CURRENTLY DUE TO PLANNED UPGRADES Please check in from early March for updates of our reopening or message us from our facebook page in the meantime, Canyon Country Camping. Be safe and well and see you in 2026.This is a primitive campground with patchy internet and holds a Leave No Trace policy. There are chemical toilets however bring your own toilet paper, fresh drinking water and generator or solar panels; garbage bags to take your rubbish off the site. Plenty of fire pits across the grounds, large and small to suit parties or single campers. All fires to be contained. No recreational motor bike riding, 4WD the trails not allowed; only pedestrians and mountain bikes on the trails. No Shooting allowed. Total privacy is guaranteed on this open 150 acres with access to kms of bushwalking, bird watching, local sight seeing to vineyards, Dunns Swamp for canoeing and exploring caves, Two National Parks, swimming waterholes nearby, local farm cafe, Glow Worm Tunnel day trip, Glen Davis Historic Shale Mine tour, travel to historic Hill End & visit Rylstone for local cafes, great diverse meal experiences including the famous Naa Lan Yum Cha & art galleries and eclectic shops. This incredible location is a must for the traveller wishing to experience the heart of the widest canyon in the world! The valley was the birthplace for the indigenous women of the Wiradjuri tribe;  the first inhabitants of this land for over 50,000 years; the location has a powerful, healing presence . There are private extensive bush fire trails at the camping ground, escarpments and caves within Eurella's boundaries for the campers to enjoy bush walks, bird watching and rock climbing. CCC is the perfect location for photography, meditation, song writing, painting and all forms of creative past times. This extensive natural amphitheatre has been the host of music festivals with over 7000 on site. The campgrounds is also available for private, exclusive events, music & wellness festivals, parties, weddings and other celebrations. Drones allowed but to be used with respect to others privacy and not to alarm stock by swooping too close. Plenty of horses, sheep, cattle and dogs if you seek the need to get a feel of being on a working enterprise. Your hosts, Lyn & Bruce Richardson operate a cattle & horse operation and offer farm tours; booked through HC. Enjoy CCC and leave the camp grounds revived and relaxed, ready for your onward journey.
