If you like camping and staying in something unique Artisans Park is the place for you, If you want a luxurious five star stay we are defiantly not the place our stays are basic and clean. 1949 London Bus, WW2 Army Tower, 1885 Trig Hut Artisans Park is located 45 minutes from Bathurst and is the closest city for food and fuel. We do not have local shops or fuel stations. The London bus is suitable for children as the upper deck houses the bedroom. The lower deck houses the kitchen and bathroom with a front deck complete with barbecue and amazing views. Relax and watch the kangaroos and eagles from your private deck. Summer swimming in the crystal clear river and winter camp fires where you can toast marshmallows. The lower level has a cooktop "no oven or fridge share fridge at entrance of park", outside gas BBQ and tables. You will need to bring your own drinking water. There is a toilet and shower downstairs. The top deck has two small single beds and one double, quilts and pillows however BYO linen sheets and towels. This bus has featured on many TV shows and is often featured in travel magazines, including on Better Homes and Gardens television in 2013 and in many magazines shoots. No pets please. once again no pets including dogs.

The property was once part of a huge agricultural station, that was established not long after explorers started to open up the interior to development in colonial times. We raise cattle and have an olive grove, which we planted in 2001 (our olive brand is Windybank Olives). In 2003 we established The Old Dairy accommodation, by renovating the crumbling 1940's dairy shed at the top of the property. There are stunning views of the surrounding countryside in all directions from The Old Dairy. It is a place to unwind, relax, reset. Guests have loved the peace & quiet we offer, the chance to get away from everything for a short while. Our road is just off Bylong Valley Way - a visually stunning route through the national parks towards Mudgee, Rylstone, Capertee Valley, Lithgow and the Greater Blue Mountains, tracking along the headwaters of the Goulburn River. One of the most beautiful drives in New South Wales and within close proximity of terrific campsites like Ganguddy (Dunn's Swamp via Rylstone) and Big River (Gouburn River National Park). Travel north and follow the signs to the Blue Mountains, then Lithgow. The turn-off for Mudgee is just past Lithgow. Continue for another hour, and after passing through Ilford, make a right-hand turn. Follow the signs to Rylstone, and approximately 5 minutes out of Rylstone, turn left onto Lue Road. Turn right at The Lue Hotel, and we are just past the hotel on your right—Peel Street. From Newcastle: Take the scenic Bylong Valley Way for a 4-hour drive via Denman and Sandy Hollow. At Sandy Hollow, turn towards Rylstone. As you approach Rylstone, turn right at the sign for Mudgee via Lue on Lue Road. Turn right at The Lue Hotel, and just past the hotel, make a right at Peel Street.

Our property is approximately 150 acres, located in the Upper Hunter Valley between the Goulburn River National Park and the Wollemi National Park. In the shadow of Mt Dangar, our land sweeps down to the pristine Goulburn River, one of the main tributaries of the Hunter River. The property was once part of a huge agricultural station, that was established not long after explorers started to open up the interior to development in colonial times. We raise cattle and have an olive grove, which we planted in 2001 (our olive brand is Windybank Olives). In 2003 we established The Old Dairy accommodation, by renovating the crumbling 1940's dairy shed at the top of the property. Other things to note In the Summer months, you can spend relaxing evenings by the dam listening to the frogs and watching the kangaroos feed in the paddock. There is reverse cycle air conditioning and ceiling fans and the cottage is fully insulated.

If Australia had a Yellowstone it'd be in Glen Alice. It was so nice waking up to rocky cliff faces in this beautiful valley. So comfy in the tiny home which have absolutely everything you'll need during your stay. Jacob was a great host, telling us all about the local spots and even offering to drive us up to the viewpoint nearby. We got a special morning welcome from the farm's head of cattle management, a little Kelpie called Rabit, and spent the morning checking out the swimming hole and coming back to a warm spa on the deck out the front of our cabin. Such a peaceful retreat, amazing views especially as the sun rises and sets and beautiful starry skies if you're lucky enough to get a clear night. Light a fire and hop in the fire-heated outdoor bath for an extra treat! We got the best mix of rest in nature and adventure.

1 night at Wanderlust Retreat

We stayed in the cabin at Wanderlust and it was great. We were there in the middle of winter and it was very cold but the fire works well to keep the place toasty. The surrounding area is naturally very beautiful. Be aware that the destination is very remote and that the cabin is quite basic. The beds were comfy and warm but the electricity ran out quite quickly once it got dark (it’s solar and doesn’t get much sun in the winter). You will need to bring gear for heating things or cooking unless you want to walk to the shared space which is about a three minute walk. Bring head lamps or lights for when it gets dark. The toilet and shower block is clean and modern. The staff are also lovely!

Weekend Trip to Watton Airstrip

My partner, our puppy, and I had the best time staying at Riverview Cabin. We were originally camping on the property, but when heavy rain set in, we realised our wet weather setup wasn’t ideal. Damien and Tammy were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to book the cabin at the last minute. The cabin was so cosy, and it was amazing to hear the sound of the rain on the tin roof, with the fire already crackling inside when we arrived. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Staying at the cabin truly made our trip- it was the perfect, relaxing end to our little getaway. We would 100% stay here again, rain or shine!
