Nestled in the historic village of Hartley Vale in the beautiful Blue Mountains, The Tuck Shop offers a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, history, and spectacular scenery. Once an old mining settlement, the area is rich in heritage and is home to some of the region's most scenic walking trails. Step outside and explore the nearby historic tracks, wander through lush bushland, discover hidden valleys and sandstone escarpments, or simply relax and watch the ever-changing colours of the surrounding landscape while enjoying the abundant birdlife. Tucked away behind the original School House, The Tuck Shop provides a quiet retreat with its own dedicated outdoor space to unwind and soak up the peaceful countryside. If the School House is occupied, the front gardens are reserved for those guests, while you'll still have your own private area to enjoy. No pets or children are permitted, best suited for couples.The Tuck Shop is a charming studio-style retreat designed for two adults, with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Whether you're spending your days exploring iconic walks around Hartley Vale and the Blue Mountains, discovering the area's fascinating mining history, or simply enjoying the tranquillity of the countryside, it's the perfect base for a couples getaway. The bathroom is located approximately 15 metres from the studio in a separate outbuilding. Originally the school's boys' urinal, it has been thoughtfully converted into a functional bathroom with hot and cold water, adding a unique piece of the property's history to your stay. This accommodation is best suited to couples seeking a peaceful escape. Please note that children and pets cannot be accommodated.
