Kids stay free and are not included in the site capacity. Sites are easy access with a clear track. All sites are dispersed so you can choose where you stay. We live on property and are happy to share and let people enjoy our beautiful location. The morning birdsong and evening are restorative. The sunrises and sunsets amazing. Far enough away to unwind and relax, close enough to get a caffeine fix if needed! Coming into summer camp fires are subject to weather conditions and fire warnings. Campers must be self-contained. Off grid campers, 4wd vehicles with pop ups or tents on ground and RVs can be accommodated. We have a leave only footprints philosophy. All rubbish and waste (human, animal & general) must be taken off property. Extremely well behaved dogs are welcome. Our birds are free range so dogs need to be feathered friend friendly. If you are as intrigued by rare animals as we are, then this is the place for you. 63 Bird species, 24 mammals, 16 reptiles, and 12 amphibians have been sighted in the area (Clarke 2012) and this includes many rare and endangered species including the platypus, brush-tailed rock wallaby, Giant burrowing frog, Gang-gang cockatoo, Glossy black-cockatoo, Koala, Little Lorikeet and the Yellow-bellied glider. We only have three campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace, space and privacy. with a minimum of 400m between all sites. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available. Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend site is only suitable for 4x4's and off-road camp trailers. Yerrinbool is 1 hour from Sydney and a great spot to spend a weekend away, 15 mins from Bowral and 10 mins to Mittagong There are animals on the farm including ducks, chickens, goats, sheep and sometimes even baby cows. The property does need a little clean up but the rear of the property is nice and tranquil. We are directly next to the HWY so sometimes there is road noise, but it's a great location for an easy stopover. Easy access for caravans, keeping in mind the weather as like in all areas it becomes soft when wet. Please note, while we do permit more than one car per site booking, we only allow 1 caravan per site. So if you are in a group with more than 1 caravan, you will need to book multiple sites. Any questions, please let us know. We have Fire Pits in key locations around the farm PLEASE DO NOT move them as they signify each spot for camping. They have allocated spots and we do not need them moved. We also have a toilet in a small shed in the rear paddock for people who are using tents. Also when you come to the campsite please insure that when using the toilet to keep it clean as it is a bush toilet. Water to flush the toilet is in a tank behind the shed and if your a male please use a tree for number 1. We want to minimise flushes where possible, please keep clean for the next camper. and water is at the front of the property, if you're required to fill your tanks or rinse off. We have two dams with yabbies you are welcome to collect. If you do collect some please be respectful in the amounts you collect and also throw some raw meat and or frozen veggies like peas and corn into the dam to provide food for the others to grow. Elouera Vale is a working farm located just outside Mittagong NSW. We breed and train camels for sale, especially into the Southern Highlands. Camels are excellent for weed control and co-grazing with cattle. 'Elouera Vale' also breeds Belted Galloway cattle, Dorper and Wiltipol sheep and donkeys. Our property covers over 140 acres, 80 acres cleared and pasture improved and the rest consisting of forest. The Chain O Ponds creek runs through the property and makes for a lovely walk. You will probably get to see kangaroo, wallaby, wombats, echidnas, koalas and lots of bird life. The lush green hills abound with walking and cycling trails. You can head to the spectacular Nattai Gorge via the Box Vale Mine walking track, an easy 4.4km circular walk that follows an old railway line through a tunnel to breath-taking views. Enjoy a picnic in the magnificent Lake Alexandra Reserve or hike up extinct volcanic peak Mount Gibraltar. The closest shops are approximately a 15 minute drive to the Mittagong Town Centre where you will find all the shops, cafes and restaurants for your needs. The Gums Cottage is a fully contained, off-grid modern getaway, surrounded by the magnificent white gum trees that are its namesake. The serene setting and stylish interior of The Gums provides all the essentials for a picturesque and peaceful country escape. The White Gum Forest Retreat offers campsites nestled in a white gum forest, not far from a beautiful trickling creek. There is access to toilets and a small dam near campsites for water supply for showers where required. For a truly memorable experience we recommend hiring our function space, White Gum Forest Functions, which is available for day visitors as well as guests staying overnight in our cabins and campsites. Why not book your next special family group gathering, milestone birthday or wedding here! The function space can cater for up to 50 guests, please contact us with your time and date requirements before booking. Feel spoilt in the midst of beautiful waratahs, grevilleas and ferns, watching camels grazing in the adjacent paddock. It's like being on a safari! We absolutely loved camping on Kate’s property. There is so much space, acres of lush land that feel open, calm, and beautifully maintained. Waking up to the sounds of animals in the morning was a real highlight and made the experience feel very peaceful. We barely heard the noise of the road despite being close to it. The location is excellent, with very easy access to the popular beaches around the Jervis Bay area. A big plus for us was that the camping is dog-friendly, and the generous space between sites meant we never felt crowded or too close to other campers. Kate took the time to introduce us to her animals, the goaties, alpacas, and donkeys which was such a special touch. Overall a relaxing and memorable camping spot that we’d happily return to.

La Estancia Hideaway was the perfect place for a 3 night break away. It's spacious, surrounded by trees, quiet and very, very comfortable. A fresh and clean bathroom, huge amenities shed and even an open air bath. Our host, Magali, was welcoming and communicative. Highly recommended and we'll be back.

A very pretty spot between cows and a forest on the other side, which actually creates shade in the morning for those who want to sleep longer. The host is very kind and came to say hello and give some tips about the area. There are no toilets or running water, so be prepared.

this place is so amazing along with the host - it’s an absolute hidden treasure that once you know you will return - it’s in a great spot for exploring the Jervis Bay Area - it has the best communal area and an outdoor bath in the forest that is private to your booking - I almost don’t want to review this because I want to make sure I get to revisit !! But Magali and her place need a shout out as she has poured so much love into creating a beautiful camping experience :)

We loved our stay here. Great hosts, plenty of space, flat ground and cute animals to feed in the morning. The portaloo was a bonus and surprisingly clean and didn't smell! If you need to fill your caravan water tanks before arriving, you can do so at the rec reserve just 2 minutes away. Great location to explore the surrounding areas. We loved swimming with the kids at Bendalong and at the river near Mona Mona playground in the Jervis Bay area. Will definitely stay again if visiting the area.

Wandy Donkey Camp was a fantastic spot for tent camping. Beautiful scenery and the large paddock meant it felt very private even with other campers sharing the space because everyone was able to spread out. Kate was an excellent host. Unfortunately we didn't meet the donkeys on this visit but will hopefully be back!

Amazing place, super quick and easy to get to but feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Pitch was huge, so much space. Great facilities incl fire pit, bbq, big table and chairs, composting toilet, water to wash hands and even a little smores package on arrival! Can’t wait to come back

Weekend Trip to Misty Farm

We stayed 2 nights at Misty Farm, there’s a large paddock with access to potable water and several level sites marked out with brick fire pits. Plenty of kindling around the tall trees and firewood for purchase. Lots of black cockatoos flying overhead and rosellas on the property, we also saw a wallaby and enjoyed the mooing of the cows. Access via gravel road, just be careful of the ditches either side when turning left into the camping area.

Wow, this property was amazing!! The host was also so friendly and accomodating. Definitely have to go for a walk around the property to see the amazing views! Property was easy to find and campsites were well sign posted. Toilet was lovely and clean and our dogs had a great time!
