Dharawal Camp offers all the benefits of glamping. Enjoy a peaceful night's rest in your tent/vehicle, then hop out of bed and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of the cabin with access to a kitchen area supplying rainwater. With the secluded bush surroundings and the quiet, it's hard to believe you're only an hour away from Sydney. You might even see a Koala There is strictly no accomodation in the Cabin. The camp features a camping toilet and bathing facilities, gas bbq, a kitchen washing area, NO FRIDGE, a recreation space and dining table when the weather is bad. All you need to do is roll out your swag. Campers are encouraged to take their rubbish with them. There is access to power for campervans/caravans. Warm your toes at the outdoor fireplace whilst you chat with friends. (Please bring own firewood). You will be a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Dharawal National Park which has wonderful swimming holes and bush walks. The site is 15 minutes drive from Campbelltown, which offers all amenities of a large metropolitan city.Dharawal Camp offers all the benefits of glamping. What a lovely place! The campsite is surrounded by trees and birds, and we even heard a koala at one point (it was too dark to see it!). There’s plenty of space for a large tent or two, and there’s a great area for the firepit. Having the shack was great too - whilst it’s a little rundown, it was a luxury to have a warm shower, composting toilet and sink to wash dishes. David came over to check we’d settled in ok, and even lent us a small axe to chop wood. Access is great - just a very short walk from the car to the campsite (down a short, gravelly slope). And a 5-min drive to the national park - we had a lovely walk to the Minerva Pool. Highly recommend a trip to this campsite.

We had an amazing time at Dharawal Camp! The site is beautiful, surrounded by nature and feels very private. Having access to an actual shower and toilet was a huge game-changer as well. There are great bushwalks and plenty of amenities like shops nearby in case you forget something. We can't wait to go back!

We had a great time camping at David’s! The location is perfectly quiet, surrounded by nature, and felt very secluded - even being so close to Sydney. Having some basic facilities makes the trip much easier and David is a fantastic host, including giving us some tips for our visit to dharawal national park. Would highly recommend!

This campsite had everything we needed. The cabin was perfect for when it started to rain heavy and the outdoor pizza oven was great to use. 5 Stars all round!

Our group had another great time at Dharawal camp. Dave was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for groups or large families looking for a nice chilled weekend away that's not too far from Sydney.

Great little spot for those who want to camp with some of the comforts from home. Ground was level and space for 2 x 10 man tents. Spot was relatively quiet with a few passing planes and the neighbouring dogs. Don’t have a negative to mention.

We had a great time camping at Dharawal, highlights were the pizza oven, use of the cabin with table tennis, being only us, and the location: very close to Jingga pool track, mountain bike tracks and shop if needed, it’s a fantastic place and would highly recommended for a few days break.

We had a great weekend staying at Dharawal Camp. The camp has plenty of flat ground for tents, easy parking for campervans, and a spacious cabin with running water, some basic supplies and a ping pong table to entertain little ones. Jinnga waterhold nearby was beautiful and really worth the walk. We also had the pleasure of learning about David's art practice with his add-on art lesson, and would highly recommend this to others.

This was a great property for those who want a remote camping feel! The facility was as described, and it was nice to have access to a toilet/shower. David came to introduce himself and told us about the property and the not infrequent koala sightings! While we didn’t see any during our stay, we did have a great time.

Our first time camping with the kids and we had a great time. The cabin with drinking water and toilet/shower was very convenient and very useful for storing things. Outdoor pizza oven was a big success. Was great to find a camp site so close to Sydney where we could also take our dogs. A short drive to the national park where we enjoyed hiking with the kids to the Minerva Pool.

Such a quiet place, the cabin was handy and had games, a ping pong table, electricity, a shower, toilet, fire pit, outdoor wood stove and hot water. Plenty of space for two tents, a swag and a 3x3m gazebo, 4 adults, 2 kids and a dog. The owner even come down to say hello and then left us alone for the rest of our trip. Was close enough to major shops but far enough away that you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere.

We had the best long weekend here. Our group of 10 friends plus a Labrador puppy enjoyed the super well setup campsite with a well organised campfire area and extra smooth and flat camping area. The hut with power, running (hot) water, clean compost toilet, a gas bbq, pizza oven, ping pong table and cooking basics made life super comfortable and easy and David was lovely too. This is probably our favourite campsite ever.

We were a group of 5 friends with a dog and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dharawal Camp. The cabin is great shelter from the rain but is cold, bringing indoor sandals is recommended. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of bowls, plates, cups, and mugs. There are some cooking utensils but no pots or pans. There was no fridge but there were 2 decent sized eskies available. Plenty of space for cooking, storage, and hanging out. There is hot water on all taps and the drop toilet is set up well.

Great little getaway for short or long. We did a weekend away and absolutely had a blast. Being so close had almost 3 full days. Having the house to prep food, table tennis and bathroom amenities makes cleaning the kids easy. Nice bush walks, small river to see and plenty of birds around. Pizza Oven was on key for us. Recommend and will be back.

We had such a great time at this place. We couldn't believe we were only 15 minutes from Campbelltown, it was so peaceful and secluded. The humpy was really convenient, especially for a place to wash up and play games with the kids. Will absolutely be coming back.

Fantastic night winter camping with a group of teen girls at Dharawal camp site. Fun campfire in the middle of bushland but close to Sydney. Cabin was handy and the ping pong table was a hit. Great walks nearby and David was a friendly host. Will come again.
