Yerrinbool is 1 hour from Sydney and a great spot to spend a weekend away, 15 mins from Bowral and 10 mins to Mittagong There are animals on the farm including ducks, chickens, goats, sheep and sometimes even baby cows. The property does need a little clean up but the rear of the property is nice and tranquil. We are directly next to the HWY so sometimes there is road noise, but it's a great location for an easy stopover. Easy access for caravans, keeping in mind the weather as like in all areas it becomes soft when wet. Please note, while we do permit more than one car per site booking, we only allow 1 caravan per site. So if you are in a group with more than 1 caravan, you will need to book multiple sites. Any questions, please let us know. We have Fire Pits in key locations around the farm PLEASE DO NOT move them as they signify each spot for camping. They have allocated spots and we do not need them moved. We also have a toilet in a small shed in the rear paddock for people who are using tents. Also when you come to the campsite please insure that when using the toilet to keep it clean as it is a bush toilet. Water to flush the toilet is in a tank behind the shed and if your a male please use a tree for number 1. We want to minimise flushes where possible, please keep clean for the next camper. and water is at the front of the property, if you're required to fill your tanks or rinse off. We have two dams with yabbies you are welcome to collect. If you do collect some please be respectful in the amounts you collect and also throw some raw meat and or frozen veggies like peas and corn into the dam to provide food for the others to grow. Firewood is available to purchase at time of booking - see Extras. Or speak to myself upon arrival.

We booked quiet late notice and arrived after dark, it was lovely don’t think it’s worth 48$ considering that there’s a toilet available but we’re unable to find it in the dark as-well as light which was fine we did manage, owner didn’t really respond to my messages when we arrived or left which is fine I understand it was quiet late just wanted some reassurance we were in the right spot ect, other than that we enjoyed our night.

The camp site had a fitepit allocated to each camp site. There is a lamb yard right next and goose, duck and chicken farm. The listing says there is a toilet but there isn’t. The host didn’t reply a message. Camp site is next to busy highway so expect a truck and car noise all night.

I loved the farm it’s very beautiful and it was just is there which was lovely. Firewood is $20 well worth it. The road noise is noticeable but after awhile easy to ignore. Sites 5,6,7,8 are closest to the bathroom.

The host was welcoming and provided plenty of firewood for us to use. Large open space with fire rings. However, the toilet was in bad shape; dirty, not flushing and only accessible through some long grass. The site isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing and it is very close to a busy main road. Overall, it gave us a place to stay for the night, but it is very overpriced considering the above.

We decided on an impromptu two-night camping trip and were so happy to come across Andrew’s place, it’s the perfect spot for a quick weekend escape We ended up having the whole place to ourselves, which made it even more special. The group loved exploring the property and interacting with the animals. Waking up to goats and sheep wandering near our campsite was a real highlight The running toilet is a great little luxury when camping, and there’s an abundance of firewood available,no need to bring your own. Just make sure to pack a saw to cut up the larger logs. As others have mentioned, the property runs alongside the Hume Highway, so you can hear some traffic, but you quickly get used to it and it doesn’t take away from the experience. Overall, we had a fantastic two-night stay. The property is exactly as advertised and we’d happily return

I was charged for bags of wood that were not provided. I messaged the owner and didn’t reply. We were instructed by a man present at the property to collect the wood ourselves from arounds and it was all wet. There is only one toilet for the whole camping area.

Convenient location right by the Hume Hwy, little bit of road noise but it wasn't loud enough to disturb sleep. Spacious area with sites spread out really well. Very useful camp for a stopover especially if travelling North or South on the highway.

Our 2A 2C family stay here for 3 nights was great. Farmer Michael was a great character and the kids loved feeding the goats, ducks, chickens and sheep every morning and trying to catch yabbies.

We stayed for two nights and had a really enjoyable camping experience. Our daughter absolutely loved seeing the animals, which was a highlight of the trip for her. Thank you for providing food for the goats and sheep, that was a lovely touch and made the stay feel welcoming and thoughtful. There is a toilet available on site. This is basically a working farm and you are camping in a paddock rather than staying in a serviced room, so expectations should be set accordingly. We had our own facilities with us anyway, which worked perfectly. There is some road noise at night, but it was not too bad and did not disturb our sleep. If you are particularly sensitive to noise, bringing earplugs would be a good idea. The location is very convenient and made a great base for exploring nearby towns such as Berrima and Taralga during the day. Overall, we had a great time and would happily recommend it. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Camping spot is close to the highway so it can get fairly loud when sleeping. Slept in the same field as the goats which was cute and there’s a fire pit you can use.

This site needs a good clean up. Lots of rusty metal around and has the feel of being unkept. The dam was very uninviting, brown muddy water even after very little rain. Was warned it was close to the road, and road noise is definitely an issue.

Exactly what the description says this is, great spot for a night, can hear the highway just but doesn’t bother us, camp grounds are clean just around the house there is some mess but didn’t bother us, a little tight to get into but we are 17m long overall & had no issues

Not a bad place to stay. We found it a but tight to get our caravan through the gates, alot of scrap tin and over grown trees. It was dark and the van is 22ft. Smaller set ups would be fine. Also couldn't seem to locate the toilet... Otherwise the camp itself was fine.

The site wasn't bad as there is plenty of room and firewood around. The host was accommodating and brought out food for our son to feed all the animals with. Only downside was the closeness to Hume Highway for us, found it difficult to sleep in a tent with the noise but might be better in a caravan or RV.

Stayed here twice on our roadtrip from Vic to gold coast. Super easy to get to ( off the M1) .. yeh, its a bit noisy from the trucks.. but honestly couldn't have cared. Great sites, felt safe and secure with the family. Warm and welcoming host who let the kids feed hes sheep and goats (which was perfect after a long drive and setting up for the night) , beautiful starry skies plus our own camp fire. Will be staying again on our yearly trip up north.

As other reviews have noted, this camp-site is very suitable for a stopover on the Hume Highway. Easy to find and access with signs on property directing you along. Large farm with flat land, sites easy denoted. Camp site is next to Hume highway and road noise can be heard however didnt effect us. Quick easy stop with plenty of space and back on the road again.

Lovely camping sites, seeing the farm animals is a delight and not something you often see on a campground. Plenty of available firewood to burn, but definitely bring your own as well. Camp-site was clean and easy to find, firepit was perfect. The only negative is the toilet, not very clean or well maintained. Needs an upgrade.

We stayed at site 2. It was absolutely amazing 🤗 We had a beautiful view of the cows (super friendly) and the kids loved hanging with the rest of the animals. The site was spacious and such a good stop for the night 🙏🏽 I read a lot of reviews about the highway being to close and loud. It was honestly no issue at all! It was such an amazing stay and I hope to be back in the next few weeks 😍 We also had the honour of meeting the owners father Micheal. He was so accommodating and gave the kids a huge bag of goodies to feed the animals with. He is so nice and friendly and was telling us how to catch the yabbies if we wanted ☺️ Highly recommend! Thank you for accomodating us 🫶🏽

Things were pretty much as described. Pros: Plenty of sticks around for fire starting. Lots of space to set up and a nice fire pit. Easy to get to once I put the address in the satnav and not just coordinates that wanted me to pull straight off the Hume - sign on the gate was helpful. Mixed: fair bit of road noise, which I didn't mind but some might. We were in the further field (site 7) and it was sprawling and private, but if others had booked site 5 or 6 there wouldn't have been much separation. Cons: Could do with better site signage - I only knew I was in the right field because there was a fire pit. If the loo had toilet paper, a bit of a clean and flushed properly then I think I would have been a happy camper!

A group of us recently stayed here for a night as we went to A Day on the Green in Bowral. Great for a one night stay, and insanely good value (when divided by the group) but wouldn’t recommend for a leisurely camp trip. The noise from the Hume hwy is so loud and does make for a tricky sleep. 25 min walk to the train station. Toilets were nice and clean but with no flush or toilet paper. But great spacious flat spots, (even if the camp was full you would still be far from the group next to you), big fire pits and friendly cute cows!
