The lush, undulating green hills are shaded with leafy trees. We love our horses. We host horse lovers events twice a year, and offer boutique training, horse riding lessons, functions and five star events. We welcome all types of camping guests from tents through to campervans and caravans. The camping area is 2WD accessible. You are welcome to choose where you’d like to set up on arrival. PLEASE ARRIVE BEFORE 5PM. A gate code will be given on arrival if you need to exit after 5pm. We have a large open, grassy area close to the amenities or you can tuck your campsite away under the trees. PLEASE TAKE ALL YOUR RUBBISH WITH YOU. 100 acres of secluded paradise with a kilometer of free flowing pebbled creek. Bound on two sides by the craggy escarpments of the Budgong and Morton National Parks there is ample grassland to give a feeling of space yet an abundance of trees to wander through as you engage with the tame wildlife and magnificent birdlife. Bring your mountain bike, fishing rod, swimmers, hiking boots, tennis racket, basketball (a hoop on the tennis court) or climbing gear and leave the kids in the play area while you sit by the creek and listen to the water tumbling through the rocks. If you are as intrigued by rare animals as we are, then this is the place for you. 63 Bird species, 24 mammals, 16 reptiles, and 12 amphibians have been sighted in the area (Clarke 2012) and this includes many rare and endangered species including the platypus, brush-tailed rock wallaby, Giant burrowing frog, Gang-gang cockatoo, Glossy black-cockatoo, Koala, Little Lorikeet and the Yellow-bellied glider. We only have three campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace, space and privacy. with a minimum of 400m between all sites. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available. Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend site is only suitable for 4x4's and off-road camp trailers. A beautiful and serene 40 acres just 5 kms from the wonderful Bundanoon village, the gateway to the Morton National Park, in the wonderful Southern Highlands NSW. We have a chain of dams to throw a line or catch some yabbies, even float around in the kayaks, or just sit beside and soak up the rays. We have horses, chooks, ducks and peafowl and a beautiful chocolate lab, Cleo. An easy and 10kms from the Hume Hwy there are numerous camp sites, a couple by the oak grove, a couple by the dam and with lovely rural vista. Kids stay free and are not included in the site capacity. Sites are easy access with a clear track. All sites are dispersed so you can choose where you stay. We live on property and are happy to share and let people enjoy our beautiful location. The morning birdsong and evening are restorative. The sunrises and sunsets amazing. Far enough away to unwind and relax, close enough to get a caffeine fix if needed! Coming into summer camp fires are subject to weather conditions and fire warnings. Campers must be self-contained. Off grid campers, 4wd vehicles with pop ups or tents on ground and RVs can be accommodated. We have a leave only footprints philosophy. All rubbish and waste (human, animal & general) must be taken off property. Extremely well behaved dogs are welcome. Our birds are free range so dogs need to be feathered friend friendly. Second time camping at Wombat Hollow. Loved it even more. Went for an early evening stroll this time and saw so many wombats. The bird song was gorgeous evening and morning. Camped up at the Pecan Wood camp. The view from the top of the rise is wonderful and worth being a little further from the creek. Pecan gets sun all day so perfect for cooler months. If we visit in summer we'll stay at one of the shady creek-side camps.

Paula's spot was an ideal spot as a base to explore the nearby Kangaroo Valley and surrounds. Close enough to town for any last minute supplies, but completely secluded in a quiet clearing amongst gum trees - with birdsong all around. The facilities were great and Paula was a wonderful host.

Great location. Only a short drive to Seven Mile Beach, Shoalhaven Haven Heads, Gerroa, Gerringong and Kiama. A spacious paddock to pull up. Could feel busy if all sites were full, but we had only two others near us on night one, and the place to ourselves on night two. Great star gazing at night, and the fire pits were a nice touch.

This was such a peaceful site to camp at. Even though it isn't far from a road it was very quiet. So many birds!! Paula is very warm and welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with her. We enjoyed having a flushing toilet (site 1 is the closest to the bathroom). This was definitely a great choice for us and we would happily come back to camp there again!

Loved Coolendel. Great location.. off the beaten track but not too off beaten. The lady at checking was friendly and informative. We camped mid November during the week and literally had the place to ourselves. They had two amenities with hot showers which was a bonus on the first morning. But the rest of the time the fresh water of the Shoal Haven river was perfect. About 90% of sites have fire pits so make sure you bring your own fire wood. No 4G or 5G network but you could buy wifi to access communications. During the three days of camp we managed to see wallabies, kangaroos, wombats, peacocks and abundance of birds life. The stars at night were on full display. One thing I would recommend if you’re camping during the school holidays is to bring your own portable toilet or off grid shower as the amenities would be at premium use Most sites have taps you access fresh water.

We loved our weekend at Wombat Hollow. We were spoilt having the whole place to ourselves which was ideal as we were looking for quiet downtime. After checking out the whole place we realised that even if all the other camps were full, each camp is in its own secluded spot with lots of space around it and between camps so other campers would not have been a bother at all and we still would have had acres and acres to ourselves. The whole place is well maintained and signposted. Lots of helpful instructions when booking so we knew exactly what to bring and if our vehicle amd camper would be suitable. Vallance is a superb host. The camp sites are perfectly simple. Great fire pit. Sturdy benches, level ground, shade and gorgeous lanscape and wildlife all around. Stunning night skies.

Situated just off Jamberoo Mountain Road, we are ideally located between Bowral and Kiama. This campsite is a flat grassy area with rural views to the west and north west. Enjoy the lush green grass under the shade of old gnarly trees. Dogs on leashes are very welcome. Campers will have access to toilet during their stay, just a short walk from the camping area. Various birds, wombats and wallabies are common around our farm and we're located very close to Carrington Falls (Budderoo National Park), the Illawarra Fly Tree Top Walk and Barren Grounds Nature Reserve where you can go for a lovely bushwalk or have a swim. This campsite is best suited to caravans or RVs as we are situated near a semi-busy tourist road between Robertson and Jamberoo (perfect if you need a safe place to stay on your adventure). Nestled right up against the escarpment at an elevation of 450m, this high-end, off-grid 40 acre property effectively offers your own private slice of Macquarie Pass National Park - amazing views, giant cedar trees, fern forests, cascading waterfalls and palms surround. It feels remote but it's only 90 min from Sydney, 30 min to Kiama and just 15 min to the shops. The property also offers the only hiking path up to the top of the escarpment for some truly amazing views. As of September 2025, many of the trails on the property have been degraded by the rains and are now challenging for 2WD cars. If you're towing or it's wet we recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles. Since this is coastal rainforest and it has been very wet, expect leeches anywhere it is damp. These are easily kept at bay with deet and or trousers tucked into socks. We're not particularly price sensitive - until all those rate rises - but we are extremely value sensitive so we set out to make your stay extremely good value for your hard earned money. The land itself does most of the heavy lifting but also personal service and of course there's Lana to fall in love with. Note, Mellows Rd is 2.6km long and rises 400m - in parts the road is a 15 degree grade. It's all paved but narrow so if you are towing a large heavy load, it's going to strain your car.

It is in view of he house however we do have a busy life,so you won't see us much unless you need something. We are only a short drive to Kiama and the stunning beaches of the south coast. Kiama has a great market on each month where you can check out the local offerings and enjoy a stroll along the esplanade or check out the famous Kiama blowhole and lighthouse. We are with easy reach of the Budderoo National Park which is full of stunning walks and waterfalls that are always popular. We are a short drive to the Jamberoo Action Park and Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk which are both great places to visit for kids and families. Please note our dogs can sometimes bark during the night as they are protecting the house and areas nearby. You must bring your own portable toilet. You are unable to bring your own dogs. Elouera Vale is a working farm located just outside Mittagong NSW. We breed and train camels for sale, especially into the Southern Highlands. Camels are excellent for weed control and co-grazing with cattle. 'Elouera Vale' also breeds Belted Galloway cattle, Dorper and Wiltipol sheep and donkeys. Our property covers over 140 acres, 80 acres cleared and pasture improved and the rest consisting of forest. The Chain O Ponds creek runs through the property and makes for a lovely walk. You will probably get to see kangaroo, wallaby, wombats, echidnas, koalas and lots of bird life. The lush green hills abound with walking and cycling trails. You can head to the spectacular Nattai Gorge via the Box Vale Mine walking track, an easy 4.4km circular walk that follows an old railway line through a tunnel to breath-taking views. Enjoy a picnic in the magnificent Lake Alexandra Reserve or hike up extinct volcanic peak Mount Gibraltar. The closest shops are approximately a 15 minute drive to the Mittagong Town Centre where you will find all the shops, cafes and restaurants for your needs. It is well worth a visit to ‘The Shaggy Cow’ cafe, one of our favourite foodie spots (don’t forget to mention Elouera Vale). While you're here please try the Cool Climate wines. The region’s rich soil and high altitude are ideal for cool-climate wine growing. Visit cellar doors in the hills and valleys around Mittagong, including Centennial Vineyards. Enjoy a pleasant wine tasting experience at Centennial (don’t forget to mention us). The Camel Cottage offers a luxe off-the-grid escape for couples just one hour from Sydney but feels like "miles from anywhere". The Gums Cottage is a fully contained, off-grid modern getaway, surrounded by the magnificent white gum trees that are its namesake. The serene setting and stylish interior of The Gums provides all the essentials for a picturesque and peaceful country escape. The White Gum Forest Retreat offers campsites nestled in a white gum forest, not far from a beautiful trickling creek. There is access to toilets and a small dam near campsites for water supply for showers where required. Bebrue was created in 1972 when 8¼ acres of natural bushland on the top of Mount Gibraltar (“The Gib”) at Mittagong was donated to the Girl Guides Association for the establishment of a camping and outdoors facility.Today, the site offers a well-protected camping facility set amongst beautiful, natural surrounds that are ideal for many activities. The adjacent north-east side of Mount Gibraltar offers walking trails to explore.The Mount Gibraltar Forest is significant due to its rarity, being identified as an endangered and threatened ecological community. The unique geology of the area supports a collection of flora that, as an assemblage, does not exist outside of The Gib. One very important resident of The Gib that you may meet is the extremely rare Powerful Owl. Bebrue is one of the largest privately own properties on The Gib and Girl Guides have always worked hard to protect the natural bush at Bebrue. Bebrue has also been recognised by the Mount Gibraltar Landcare and Bushcare Group as being an important local wildlife corridor. It is a member of Land for Wildlife.Bebrue is run by volunteers and all funds generated go back into improving the facility for use by the Girl Guides and wider community.

Firewood is not provided so please bring your own. There’s plenty of room for mountain bike riding, and bushwalking with many beautiful walking trails.
