Great campground really close to town. Closer to glamping - perfect for anyone who wants to camp with the added ammenities of a hot shower, flush toilets and a kitchen area with tables, power, microwave and kettle. The ease with these things makes it perfect for a quick weekend camp!

Beautiful site, felt completely isolated and private. Yet so great being close to town.
Showers were great and it was very helpful to have access to power in the tea shed.
Loved using the campfire grounds well, we had several kangaroo visitors through the bush during our visit and plenty of bird spotting as well.

We loved tent camping at Bebrue despite the constant wet weather. The kids had a ball exploring particularly the obstacle course on site. Lots of native wildlife and really is a beautiful pocket on bushland nestled very close to Mittagong and Bowral Town centres. The site is well appointed with toilets, hot showers and even an undercover seating/eating area which was lux compared to what we’d usually see when camping but was very much well utilised given the weather.

Really beautiful bush campsite with a great setup. Plenty of grassed areas to play games, and some great little trails in the bush for kids to explore and play. In wet weather we were grateful for the undercover shelter and warm showers, as well as being only a 5min drive from the conveniences of Mittagong/ Bowral.

Amazing campsite

Was staying in Bebrue campsite second time and hopefully will have a chance visit again. Property is well maintained, toilets and showers are clean. Was very quiet, you couldn’t see neighbouring properties from the campsite and it makes it feel like you are in the middle of the forest. We saw many birds on the property, but didn’t have a chance to see other wildlife.
The only drawback is that you need to book 2 nights minimum.

We had a great time at the site. The property is accurate in the photos. It was nice to have the shed as it rained one night so we were able to move our gear underneath and have a warm shower. It’s very close to Bowral town for exploring. Would be nice to see some walking trails nearby - you need to exit the property for this.

A beautiful tranquil stay, secluded but very close to Mittagong/Bowral town centres. Awesome to have bathroom/showers/undercover space/ sink for washing up too. Was so nice to have the site to ourselves and enjoy the bush land views, kangaroos, birds and a wombat too!

Secret Bush Camp in Southern Highla

Bebrue was a wonderful winter getaway for our little family. We have a 4 and 5 year old. We loved exploring the property and having it to ourselves. The hot showers, flushing toilet and shed are great bonuses which made our stay more comfortable! It is so close to Mittagong and Bowral for Southern Highland adventures. We were lucky enough to see lots of birds and an echinda. We would love to come back.

Really nice spot away from everything, but also close to so many things. So handy having the T shed there and having toilets and showers.

This campsite is an excellent choice for families with children. It offers a perfect balance of comfort for those who prefer to stay in their own tents while enjoying a high standard of amenities. We found the experience to exceed our expectations. The facilities include two clean and well-maintained toilets and showers, ensuring a pleasant stay. Additionally, there is a shooting range on-site, although guests are required to bring their own bow and arrows. Maybe just bring you bow cause we've lost our one arrow. Lol!

We loved camping at Bebrue. It was nice to be able to camp without anyone else around. The campsite was lovely and tranquil and the amenities were good.

Fantastic campsite. We had an 8 year old and two 2 year olds and there was so much for them to do. Felt like you were in the middle of nowhere but also had a quick drive to Bowral or Mittagong for any requirements. The hosts were fantastic, very helpful and clear with their communication.
Looking forward to heading back.

We’ve stayed three times now and can’t fault the place. It’s convenient, full of wildlife and a beautiful patch. Best of all it’s exclusive use which is just so unique. I love the space, the facilities and the little zones around the campground. Can’t recommend it enough.
