Update: access road is now sealed. Melon Green welcomes self contained caravans and /or motorhomes. Lovely grassy farm on a 15 acre block. A quick 15 minute drive into Picton where you can find our local club and shops. Short drive to Nattai lookout overlooking Warragamba water catchment. Spectacular view. Also Thirlmere Lakes. Nearby Camden township restaurants, cafes, pool, bike track along Nepean River and more. We are located approximately 1 hour from Sydney airport so a day in the city is not out of the question. Shopping malls a short distance away. We have 4 horses, two dams, nice outlook, Clean tank water is available and picnic table can be provided. Please note we can no longer offer bathroom facilities. Also grey water is not allowed to be emptied on the property. As we have horses, dogs must be on a leash. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit.Melon Green welcomes self contained motorhomes and/or caravans. Up to 4 people, including children. The site is big and can accommodate two vehicles, 4 guests for $48.00 per night. Pets welcome.

What a lovely place to stay. Flat ground to set up on, quiet area and heaps of places to set up the fire pit. Beautiful watching the horses frolicking around in the afternoon. In spite of the rain we had a relaxing weekend and will definitely be back.

Lovely and tranquil location. Nice flat camping spot with pleasant rural views. Access very good. Lyndall was very welcoming and friendly. Instructions and gate signs were super clear. Pet friendly. Great stay.

Nice quiet spot to relax, we camped around the dam the ground not perfectly flat but didnt cause us any problem, we had 2 x vans access not a problem. Would stay there again.

Like comment’s already written , we loved our stay here , was so peaceful . We suppose to stay three night but had to make our way home after two nights due to caravan issue. The directions were simple, roads in were great. We will be definitely return here again .

Lyndall’s property was perfect for our one night stay, the scenery and location itself was perfect on our way through NSW to VIC, would definitely stop again! Lyndall was kind enough to let us use the bathroom next to her shed and was extremely welcoming, thank you so much!

First Pod camp trip at Melon Green

This was the first camp in our new pod camper so spent a bit of time experimenting with the set up. Lyndall was very friendly and welcoming on our arrival and left us to settle in. We spent three nights at Melon Green and enjoyed it very much. Private and peaceful with beautiful views. Thanks Lyndall, we’ll definitely be back.

Lyndall greeted us on arrival which was so nice and made us feel safe and welcomed. We found a cosy private spot down by the dam to relax for the night. So peaceful and surrounded by the beautiful sound of birds. We loved our one- night getaway. 🥰

Melon Oak is a peaceful campsite with the loveliest host. Only an hour from Sydney airport and you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere with barely a soul insight. Close by, Picton is a charming little town with cute cafe’s and an ice creamery. As always, pack the mozzie repellent!

Great location with privacy even though owners house nearby and that was only as it was too wet to drive to near the dam. Quiet with beautiful views with flat ground. Would recommend

Great spot that isn't a million miles fr9m Sydney, yet it is far enough away to make you forget the stresses of the week. Lyndall was a lovely host, site was neat and tidy and firewood was a major bonus. Suitable if your set up / rig is large. Mobile reception is sketchy but it does exist.

What a wonderfully quiet and relaxing part of NSW. So close to the city yet you wouldn’t know it by the peace and quiet of Lyndall’s property. Whilst we experienced an unusually windy night, we still enjoyed the relaxing stay. Lyndall was most welcoming on our arrival and we’d certainly recommend the place.

Lovely and peaceful place to set up our van. So close to Sydney but felt like a million miles away! Campfires by a little dam made for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.

Perfect Weekend Escape

Perfect weekend escape, only an hour from Sydney. The property was lovely and Lyndall was a great host. We had the opportunity for a campfire and there was a firepit available onsite and Lyndall even provided us with firewood when we couldn't get any nearby. It was a very relaxing getaway and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Thanks Lyndall for hosting us.
